My son enjoy himself and it's a good place for him to get a great workout for a 3 year old also for a 57 year old man

Pre-pandemic this place was filled with displays for you to take social media pictures. Most of the space now is occupied by a huge inflatable bouncy for kids of all ages. Great place to bring your kids to run and jump off some energy. Location- Located inside the food court, next to Bowlero and downstairs from Dave & Busters and the AMC movie theatre Service- The staff were all friendly and provided great service Parking- Free parking near the cheesecake factory. The mall gets packed during the weekend peak hours so it can take 30 mins to find parking. Interior- There is a few benches, tables and chairs for parents to hang out if they don't want to go into the bouncer with their kids. The restroom and locker is in the back. Tickets/Procedure- Ticket price is reasonable and are price according to play hour. You can purchase them at the door or online. I would suggest buying tickets and signing waiver online for the weekend prior to going to save time. Adults will have to purchase a ticket if they will be accompanying their child in the bouncer. Socks are also required and you do have to use their Funbox socks which has grips on the bottom. Toddlers are not allowed to go into the larger bouncer alone and that's for their safety as there are older kids in there jumping around. Brought my 9 and 7 year-olds on a school holiday. It was busier than I expected. I was sitting at one of the tables with our things while my children played. Eventually both children got thirsty so I went to get them water from the vending machine. When I returned to the table I was sitting at, another parent pushed all my belongings aside and sat down to eat her food from the food court. I respectfully told her that I was there first and apparently the stuff she pushed to the side were mine. She said she saw no one at this table, and straight up ignored me while eating. My children were both watching as I am telling this parent. Since she was disrespectful, I just continued to sit at the same table to make her feel uncomfortable. My complaint is that this business allows these types of people to bring food from the food court and enable them to kick people from their tables. Celia helped us at the front. To day she is the loveliest and most patient person is an understatement. When one is faced with crazy kids who can't keep it together because they're too excited, and you're able to handle them with patience, grace and kindness...well, let's just say she is an absolute gift and gem. She made it easy to get everyone in quickly and efficiently. Plus the place is awesome. 90 min of jump time is more than enough to wear them out. Plus the games in the front are FREE. Okay first and foremost I need to say the people who gave this place a bad rating are pretty stupid!!! This place was soooo much funnnnn and the lighting here is EVERYTHINGGGG!!! I have gone to the Museum of Ice Cream, happy place and the other pop up exhibits and I have to say this was a tie with the museum of ice cream. I loved the exhibits, this place wasn't in a giant industrial building or anything it was quite perfect. So many exhibits they were interactive and you can take some amazing shots!!! My only complaint is that you do feel rushed at times to take pics because people are behind you...But I highly recommend coming during the weekday and also coming late to avoid traffic. I have to give a shot out and major kudos to the GM Jared. He was so professional, polite and overall omg calm!!! There was this witch who came here with her boys and her boys were so rude ans obnoxious and Jared even advised they had a 5 min timer in the cereal bowl and her kids wouldn't get out after the time was up. Not to mention her kids were out of control throwing the cereal outside the bowl. We waited their patiently and finally they left but the lady complained to the poor gm thar he was rude. Ummm girl byeeee! I swear if that was me I would have told her off but Jared remained calm and super collective and handled the situation while the lady kept barking so major props to him. He was great!!! I didnt post all my pics but we took a ton of boomerangs as well. My son and my bff Dora had a great time and we took a ton of pics. Great place for kids-- if they like jumpers. Never on weekends OmG it's mayhem!! Only pay for kids but have to buy socks if playing. Limited seats but that's ok. Also have lockers to place your purses and valuables. read more

Went there for the first time to kill some time before I met up with the rest of my group & my daughter had the greatest time including my adult daughters. Cece was also very courteous & helpful !!! Funbox I booked the Most Fun birthday party package with Funbox by contacting the email address on their official website. I paid the 50% deposit to secure the day, time, and location of the party. It includes a party room for 2 hours which can seat up to 40 guests. Pizza, soda, and 20 pairs of grip socks are included. You also get an extra table to set up the cake or anything else extra. Plates, spoons, napkins, paper cups, and several helium balloons are also included. I'm impressed at how they set up with their own table covers and decorations. They also do the clean up when your party is done. You can also have them page through their intercom to have everyone come back and eat the pizza or sing Happy Birthday. The pizza is also freshly baked. I also came to Funbox in person the day before the party to finalize any last minute details with the party host. You can also show up to your party room 15 minutes before your reservation. I was very impressed by the staff and everyone had a blast. read more

Great place to take instagram worthy pictures, and kids to exert their energy in the bounce house area, and they even have a couple of arcade machines to play with for no additional cost. (April 2022) The place has been revamped, no more rooms for instagram worthy pictures. Costs have also gone up. In April, it cost $20 dollars for two kids under 5, but has now changed to $12 a kid or adult and an additional fee of $12 flat for jumping in the bounce house. Socks are $2.5 a pair and for a family of 4 with two of us supervising was whopping $59. Both our kids are little and we supervise them since it's a collision course waiting to happen in the bounce area. read more

I wanted to give this more stars, and the review is pretty unique, so take it with a grain of salt. Just be weary that you could have this situation. My family came to enjoy Funbox on a Sunday. As we were taking pics in the selfie installments, our phone and car keys were stolen. We hadn't gotten into the jumpers, and the moment my fiancé realized that they were gone he had called the phone. He could hear it ringing several times until someone disconnected the blue tooth and shut off the phone. My husband was frantic and we called the police to file a report. The staff didn't really offer much at all, so we took matters in our own hands. We were told the owner would show up within the hour to get footage for us. They never showed and then we were told it would be emailed directly to me and the police. No one emailed, got back to my calls, emails or voice messages. I don't expect police to do much, but with action we could have gotten to the bottom of it much quicker. Timing is everything. The lack of response just tells me someone may have internally stole it. Is it a strong accusation? Maybe. But their behavior leads me to believe that one of their staff stole it and they're covering up. If I'm wrong, just send me the footage like your staff promised. So now I have no keys. I'm having trouble programming a new one, I'm shelling out so much money to fix this. And I could have gotten so much farther if Funbox would have at least cooperated with me and my family to give us the footage we needed and not jerk us around. No follow up. No "f"s given. read more

This place needs to train their staff better and anyone who would yell at 9-year-old really shouldn't work anywhere with children. Workers are inside hours of operation say it opens at 12. We are outside waiting for it to open. Currently 12:18. The least they can do is come out and say sorry there is a delay. But nothing. No communication and quite frankly unprofessional to open late when people schedule to make time to come. What's the hold up ? read more

I loved FUNBOX so much! As a photographer, I had a lot of fun in all these different scenes. My cousin had found this place in Instagram and from her friends and I honestly loved it. The staff was amazing and always offer to help take pictures, which made the experience so much better. We also went in a bit late due to traffic but the we weren't given attitude or being pushy and I appreciated that so much. I ended up meeting the owner too and that was amazing. Anthonio was amazing and we even got a picture together. FUNBOX is located on the second floor next to LUSH Cosmetics. According to the navigation, you'll be taken to the other end of the parking lot, but you have to go into The Oak, which is the mall. read more

I have been coming to Funbox for 2 yrs now. There's such few places like it that you can't help but have to bring your kids, but my first few experiences felt both underwhelming and overwhelming at the same time. There were too many kids everywhere and it was just unorganized chaos. My nephew is on the spectrum, so it was just too much for him, but I continued to bring him anyway for a few more tries. It was underwhelming in a sense that it was dirty, vending machines never worked nor the games. It wasn't until I met Cece that I really decided to love the place. I genuinely feel that this place improved tremendously since she joined the team. The place is more clean and organized because she's always walking around on her spare time to make sure everything is running smoothly and she's always around for assistance. I feel like I have asked her a million questions and asked for her help, and she has always been so patient and never hesitated to help or answer anything at all. I remember that when she first noticed my nephew had autism and was sensitive to loud noise, she let me know that headphones are an accommodation provided by Funbox. Most places do not offer things like that which I thought was pretty cool for creating an inclusive environment. There's so many kids on the spectrum these days and to have a place be mindful of that is incredible. And Cece being able to notice and offer that is such an important moment in our lives. So thank you for being so attentive, extremely caring, and offering such great customer service! It does not go unnoticed. I've purchased two packs of 5 sessions since she told me about it as well and it's a steal! PS weekends are crazy, try to go after schools on weekdays until closing. Funbox is a great photo op museum for grown adults and kids. It's more for Instagram worthy photos than anything else. It's located inside the Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks and its definitely worth taking a peak in. There was ample parking considering the holiday crowd, and I came and shared the experience with my 16 year old niece. We made the day of it, took some post worthy photos and had lunch after. It was a drive for me and my niece coming from Northeast Los Angeles, but it was worth spending the day. You can see everything at Funbox in 10 minutes, but you'll be spending some time taking photos. The giant bowl of cereal has a 5 minute limit. So, you'll have to be quick when you're taking photos inside the pool of loops. Take your time, enjoy the museum, and take a ton of photos! read more

Turns out that they also deny you service when they " Unexpectedly " get a buy out. Do not come to this place. I made it clear to them that I would write them a bad review and would do it while on their premises so they would know exactly who did it! This isn't the customer fault who bought the tickets online earlier during the day and it showed available... they need to update their systems in order to avoid upsetting paying customers So their rules are really dumb - here's how it works: if you buy your tickets online - which I did - and they're available- which they were - and you show up aka drive all the way to the mall and bring your children to have a good time with tickets on hand - AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS that last minute they have a " buyout " now you're screwed - can't come in can't play and they can only offer you a reschedule for a different date and time or a refund - WAIT A MOMENT - buyer and consumer beware - that means that because their system isn't up to date or because they're greedy and want more unexpected money rather that what was already purchased by the rest of us online - we aka the parent that came as agreed - suddenly can't enjoy the experience and as such will now deal with angry crying children that can't comprehend what's happening? Went in for the cereal bowl, teddy bear tunnel and the monkey/bananas for pictures only to find that they were removed "a couple of days ago". There were only 5 'rooms'/selfie props for pictures and for one of the props, the balloons were popped making the pictures look like balloons are obviously missing (see picture for reference). I think they also change the themes of the areas around where you can take pictures because there were certain themes I saw here on yelp, but when I went it was a bit different. The staff was nice. Most of the sets looked and felt low effort. Definitely way better suited for kids and families. I would say just a few of the sets looked okay for adults for IG photos.
