My experience with Fun Way To Go was great. They were professional and responsive. When you're faced with spending $900+ to rent a party bus and have to pay it in advance, you get very nervous about who you're dealing with. I called many places, but did not get a good feeling with most of them. The party bus was great and held all of our 20 people comfortably and our driver Penny was wonderful. My experience was horrible. I reached out to Bill, the owner a day prior to make sure everything is perfect for the day of the event. No answer. He calls me 30 minutes before our scheduled pick up time to tell me the black bus I originally paid for is "broken down" and he now has to use a white back up bus and will be 40 minutes late! He did not update me ONCE, I had to keep calling and texting him for ETA. He arrived 1hr and 30 minutes later and he rushed the whole experience because apparently he had another event to show up for? I paid him for 3 hours so it is not my fault if he double booked he should know how to manage his schedule! I asked him for a discount, he never mentioned giving me a discount despite everything. I do not recommend him and will never be booking again. Why would I need a free ride after he saw my review? I needed the ride for the specific times I booked for not a different day. read more

We booked this bus for our friend's birthday and had a wonderful time. However, the bus was 30 minutes late to pick us up. As we are being charged $220/hour, we tried speaking to the bus driver about getting a refund as we were expecting 4 full hours on the bus, not 3.5 hours. The driver was unable to produce any real answers about whether or not we could be refunded for the half an hour ($120) that we did not receive. After the matter, we reached out to customer service about receiving a refund and they refused to give us our money back saying they were not responsible for delays due to traffic. This is ridiculous given how much they are charging hourly for the bus. Be cautious about booking through this company, their terms and agreements ONLY protect themselves and not the individuals booking. read more

I would not use this company again. I booked the 28 person bus and they arrived with the 16 person bus. Our driver was boring, she didn't suggest anything (she did lift up an aux cable I guess to indicate we could play our own music?) and the bus was rather ugly. As in, the windows at the back were clearly spray painted black. Inside is plain- minus two giant stripper poles with flashing annoying lights. If you're with a work group this little "feature" is awkward and I'd suggest the company ask in advance: do you want the lights going around the stripper pole or just regular lights? We asked to go to Purple Winery in Woodinville, I texted her directions, and she drove straight to the one in Bellevue costing us over 20 minutes of lost time. Then we got done and she asked where we wanted to go- I felt like we were 12 and she was someone's crabby mom. I contacted the company and they responded in a few days, offering me a free hour if I want to book again- they didn't mention the price difference between what we ordered and what we got (bus size) so I have reached back out again. In all, I just don't think this company is high enough quality for me to use again. Maybe some high school prom group or something, but I would never use them again- I'd have more enjoyed just getting a few Uber suburbans. And they'd have music- this company should invest in satellite radios. Also note- you can't take alcohol on the bus without applying for and paying for a liquor license- not saying that is unreasonable but it is a fact and without it your guests may be disappointed. read more

I heard about "Fun Way to Go" from a friend who had used them so I figured they would be a safe bet for my buddies bachelor party. Setting up the reservation went smoothly and I was informed about the permit I would need to purchase so we could have alcohol on the bus. 30 minutes before pickup I got a call from the company saying "the driver didn't factor in 'All Star Weekend' traffic and thus wouldn't be there until an hour after our original pickup time." We had to cancel the reservation, we were given a refund for the bus within a few days, but I still have complaints : #1 to not factor in traffic time of any kind on a Friday regardless of a heavier increase in traffic for a big event seems so unprofessional. Being told 30 minutes before means the driver of the bus believed they could get through Seattle traffic on a Friday in under 30 minutes, as a professional driver would you not think to give yourself more time for travel especially on a Friday? #2 I was promised in an email that the permit I needed for alcohol would be reimbursed by "Fun Way to Go" if I sent them my venmo via email. I sent them my venmo and still haven't seen the reimbursement and it's now been over 3 weeks. The permit was only $10 so I'm not worried about losing the money but being told I would get it and then not just adds to the frustration and unprofessionalism. #3 When I initially put in the reservation the person I talked to processed my down payment with me on the phone and said they would call back the day before the reservation to process the remaining balance, however I never received this call and had my card charged without my knowledge, luckily I had plenty of money on the card they used but it came as quite the shock when I saw a lot of money was pulled from my account without knowing/ approving the transaction. #4 I had paid for 2 pick up spots since we'd need to be taken home after our main event, however I never got the confirmation info for my second pickup, just the first, when I pointed this out I was told I would get a corrected itinerary with both pickup times but never got this corrected itinerary. Overall the person I spoke with on the phone seems very nice and was very sorry for our situation but "sorry" doesn't fix the fact that all of this put a huge damper on our night and create a lot of stress and headaches. I will not use this company again nor do I recommend them. read more

Bill was very friendly to work with so it is unfortunate that we have had such a terrible experience with this company. We had booked a bus for a friends 30th birthday and they called to cancel our bus 5 minutes after they were supposed to pick us up. We were understanding that the driver had an emergency and could no longer make it, but I did find it odd that they did not have back up drivers on call for matters like this as I'm sure it happens. The worst part however is that we are now a month out from this cancellation and have called 3 times to get our money refunded and each time are told they are going to take care of it right then. We still have not received our refund and were charged $100 more than we had originally been quoted. This is unacceptable and I will not be using this company again. read more

We used this company for our prom group of 24. At first when I got a price quote from them it was way out of our groups price range. Thankfully though one of the managers named Heidi was very accommodating and got it down to our price range. The reason I took one star away was because the communication seemed unorganized. I kept having to call and ask questions to make sure everything was scheduled correctly, and luckily I called the day before prom to confirm because they had our group pickup time an hour later than what it should have been. I am happy though that they were able to correct that...Our driver was Stacey and he was amazing! Very polite and a great sense of humor, which is exactly what you want in a party bus driver. The driver didn't have a rout so he made me spend half the 3 hour ride I paid $700 for finding my own rout. There were no restrooms that he could find, he pulled over for all of us girls to pee on the side of the road like animals ( we are all in onsies and had to nearly strip to pee. IN PUBLIC), and we saw 1 block of Christmas lights after I had to google where to go myself. One of the poles broke resulting in my friend getting hurt and there were large gaps behind the seat in which my phone got trapped ( along with the connected music, which skipped with every bump and we couldn't disconnect due to the phone being BEHIND the seat) My friends had to get behind the seat to get the phone out, the driver did not offer to help. On our way to Tacoma the truck broke down, my friends found places to pee finally, more bushes by the road. We asked for another hour and were willing to pay ( since we didn't see any lights as adverts on the fun way to go website stating they have all the best routs) and the guy said " it's ok " and then took us home. No lights. So all in all, we had a good time because my friends and I ARE the good time. I'd never waste money on a service with false advertising again. I will be reporting this to the bbb and any other site I can find this terrible service listed on. I am an angry Karen and my friends are mad too. Especially the one with the cast on her foot from the unsecured pole breaking off the ceiling. I'd ask for my money back but the person that booked the trip was Tay and she was extremely rude. When booking the trip I had emailed and messaged with her several times, messages included my name and request date, in which I was told to call. Soon calling I was told by Tay " yeah, I would t know who you are " I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. It should have been the red flag but I decided to give it a go thinking " this is their job ". Total disappointment and resulted in injury, phone damage and a total disaster for me and my 8 friends. When will they invent a zero star review?! This was no simple party that we had planned.... It was for my daughter's wedding! We were so excited to be all dressed in wedding garb and take a tour for photo ops prior to hitting the venue for the ceremony and dinner.... In short, the driver didn't know she had us on her schedule until I called and was able to get an answer 25 min after scheduled pickup. After shouting many colorful metaphors in my ear, she hit the road and made it to us... 1PM scheduled pickup, 1:45 bus arrival. We changed our itinerary to fit the newly shortened time, and overall the job was completed. The bus, on the other hand, was about 30 years old, and looked like it had been built in the backyard. There were cups from the previous party, and it was about 95 degrees in there. Needless to say, we canceled our return trip and just ordered up a pile of Uber rides! My daughter and a group of her friends used them for their senior prom and we're left stranded in downtown Seattle because one passenger was found with alcohol. I understand rule and the legality issues of this, but to abandon everyone for the action of one Is totally assanign. This was after the fact that the drivers of 3 busses for their group could not find the location of their drop off(GPS?), so they missed their dinner boat (which was already paid for ). Then because one student was caught with a flask, they dropped all 75 kids at the space needle and left. Would never recommend using this company for anything at all. read more

I was driving behind a "Seattle Party Bus", with the Seattle Party Limo name and number plastered all over the outside, and the driver seemed drunk and reckless. I wrote down the website from the side of the "Party Bus", and also the phone number. The driver of the "Party Bus" took off from one intersection driving recklessly, speeding up then slowing down and swerving, as if he were maybe talking on the phone and not paying attention to the road, then at the next busy intersection (SE Petrovitsky Rd and 140th Ave SE), he barely came to a stop, crossed the crosswalk lines in the road because he couldn't stop soon enough, then decided to drive through the red light, almost causing two cars to wreck. The license plate on the "Party Bus" was B80577B. I called in to report the incident to the police. I also called the company, and I got a guy named Jim on the phone. Jim sounded like he either didn't care, or just lacked customer service skills altogether. I would think that when someone is calling to report that a member of your company is a reckless driver, you might want to sound like you're concerned. My thought is that if you offer a driving service, you might want to make sure your drivers are being careful and responsible. I'm writing this during the peak of Prom Season, where high school kids are renting out driving services, or their parents are, thinking that they'll be safe. As a parent, if I put my kids in the hands of a limo/party bus service, I expect them to be in the hands of a responsible driver, not someone that drives through red lights at busy intersections. About 10 minutes after I called Seattle Party Limo, I got a return call back from a cell phone number. It sounded like someone calling while driving-- most likely the same stooge behind the wheel of the "Party Bus". He said, "I got a call from this number about a party bus?" I told him that I had just called to report an incident of reckless driving, his response was, "Oh S**t! Yeah, thanks for calling me about that, I'll take care of it." I figured this was the same guy driving the bus, so I mentioned that I had also called the police. He replied, "I wish you wouldn't have done that, I'll take care of it." So, basically, whoever this Jim guy was at their dispatch office just passed the word along to the driver, from the sounds of it. When I came to Yelp to write about this incident, I noticed that Seattle Party Limo's website offers limited contact information, and NO ADDRESS! You can find their contact number, and there are ample links to PayPal so they can take your money, but there's nothing in the way of a physical address. If you're looking for some sort of party shuttle bus service, I'd stay far, far away from this dodgy company, or hire at your own risk. They seem like really bad news. read more

Each year our family gathers for Christmas Eve dinner at Kells and then board the Party Bus for a safe (not necessary sane) ride home. Bill has always been polite and has made sure that we have a good time. Over the years we have had an age span of 2 years to 90 years of age. I really liked this company. I called them a day or two before to reserve a bus for a birthday party and they were pretty flexible with everything. The driver arrived on time and he even stop at the gas station to get a cable so we could play music. He drove wherever we told him. We asked him to make some stops and he was very willing to do so with a good attitude. Something very important was the driving and the driver was very responsible and good.
