I signed up for a corporate retreat and they arranged for a charter bus from Beeline Tours. Overall, I had a really great experience. The bus was supposed to pick us up at Sea-Tac airport, take us to a Safeway so we could go shopping, and then drop us off at North Cascades National Park. There is a special area at the airport for buses which I was not familiar with, but Beeline provided very detailed instructions on what to do. Our bus showed up early which was really awesome because my group was ready to go early. Also, I'm pretty sure they upgraded us to a nicer bus. We had about 25 people and they sent a huge bus so we could really spread out and not have to fill every seat. Our bus had little screens (I think you could play a DVD or something), plenty of room for luggage underneath, and a little bathroom! When we stopped at Safeway, I talked to our driver a little bit while we waited for everyone to get back. He was a super cool guy and he knew all about the park we were going to. He was also a great driver which made the ride pleasant. At the end of our retreat, we also had a nice bus and a wonderful driver on the ride back to the airport. TLDR; DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'S CHARTER BUS SERVICES UNLESS YOU'RE OKAY WITH BUSES IN A STATE OF NEGLECT, WANT TO RISK BEING STRANDED FOR HOURS DUE TO UNSAFE BUSINESS PRACTICES, AND GHOSTED WHEN YOU ASK FOR PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT!! I only write one star reviews for businesses that go out of their way to have awful customer service or no integrity or pride in their service. This business did just that. On THREE separate occasions during three separate years, their charter buses have completely broken down on us in the middle of the long, annual 4+ hour drive from Seattle to eastern Washington, each time with 45+ high school students on board with us. We should have learned our lesson after the first two times, but budget limitations kept us coming back as they are definitely the cheapest charter bus service and we just kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. Well, not anymore. This last time the bus broke down, we were stranded on the side of the interstate for more than two hours. Was I surprised? NO, because as the chaperone of this particular trip, I noticed as soon as I boarded the charter bus at our pick up location that the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. I informed the driver and requested he call his manager to see if they could send another bus because I wasn't trying to deal with anything sus happening on this long, long overnight trip. However, the manager said that they wouldn't be sending a different bus and that it would be fine. Well, it was far from fine. After 2+ hours of waiting on the side of the road (the interior of the bus was extremely hot), everyone unloaded all the luggage and all of our supplies onto the new bus which took us to our destination only to find out that they had to transfer us to ANOTHER bus and go through the unloading and loading process again. Our itinerary for the trip was almost entirely ruined. Despite the circumstances we made the most of it, but then they had the audacity to say we needed to pay extra for the new driver!! And when I requested some sort of reimbursement for sending us off on a faulty bus despite me alerting them to the engine issue PRIOR TO LEAVING, they REFUSED and then ghosted us. They did not respond to ANY correspondence from my supervisor once I clearly had to get them involved. Terrible experience and really showed their true colors. Will go to extreme lengths to take your money, ask for more money, not repair their buses properly after years of them breaking down, not respect requests to properly inspect clear engine issues, send you broken buses to travel hundreds of miles in, and then ghost you when you ask for ANY sort of reimbursement??? Ordered a shuttle for 50 people for a corporate event. Had to change the route schedule on them a few times, and they followed up with me without any issues or attitude. I received reports by execs and management that the driver was professional as well as fun and on time - very important. They also told me the shuttle was perfectly clean. Dangerous, Illegal, and just plain rude. Today, 8/31/18 I was shocked by the performance of a Beeline Tours. It was Bus 36, WA License BKH 6328. It was about noon on Eliot Ave. First, the driver leaned on his horn for about 15 seconds to chastise a driver in front of him that did nothing wrong. Then he exceeded the speed limit by over 10 MPH. On December 20th one of there busses Wa license plate C59175S. DOT#986665 while approaching a roundabout on a residential street in West Seattle on Belvidere Avenue SW, decided to go around to the left not right side and since I was there on the left forced me to put my vehicle in reverse as fast as I could to avoid being ran into head on. Then I tried to yell and honk at the driver to stop and they wouldnt stop or even acknowledge what they were doing. Then I talked with a gentleman in there safety department. He said nothing will happen unless he finds proof. I never heard back so apparently this was just an elaborate evasion of a very dangerous situation. The 23 passenger van is to be avoided until they service it properly. The van was riding on the springs the whole way because the shocks were overloaded, or blown. The van needed an alignment because the van kept swerving side to side in the lane because of an apparent misalignment. Driver seemed to be clueless about the condition of the vehicle...which is a separate issue. read more

I witnessed one of their drivers using his phone while operating the bus on a busy street. The driver was failing to maintain his lane and nearly hit the curb I was walking on, which was pretty scary. I contacted the company via email and voicemail with no response. Finally I have found an awesome tour bus company. I booked a wine/city tour for 14 family and friends who had come into Seattle. I worked with a very helpful woman named Lindsey who recommended an itinerary that worked out better than what I had planned. The driver Dave was fantastic and full of local color and knowledge. The price was reasonable and I was charged exactly what I had been quoted. The bus was clean and didn't have that industrial cleaner smell that I have experienced in the past. They worked with me when I had to change up the pickup and dropoff time a couple of days before the tour. No extra charge. How awesome was that? I am a school teacher in Australia and during January 2015 I organised a trip for one of my classes to San Francisco for two weeks. As part of this trip we made a day trip to Seattle and needed charter transportation for the day. It's always a tricky thing to find a reliable company, so after reading quite a few reviews we contacted and went with Beeline Tours. Needless to say, we certainly made the right decision! From my first contact with Lindsay in the office the entire process was incredibly easy. Quick responses to all my emails and questions (there were quite a few, since we were coming all the way from Australia!) and competitive pricing too. The day before our charter Lindsay even sent me a final email just to check that everything was okay - very professional. James was our driver and he was superb, not only knowing exactly how to get between A and B but also giving the students a bit of a talk en-route about Seattle and the surrounds. Two years in a row (same event, screw up once, I understand, but twice?!) - Late pick up by an hour. If your event is important, I would not recommend Beeline Tours as for two years in a row, they have displayed ineffective management and communication that has led to 60 people standing in a parking lot in the sun for an hour. There was no communication as to why I had no bus, only when I called after the bus was 45 minutes did I learn my bus driver was still in South Seattle (at least 30 minutes in Seattle Saturday traffic). I would have given two stars but the drivers really are great people, despite pathetic attempts at management. There are too many other companies out there to ever use these guys again. read more

I was coordinating a meeting for my company and needed to get about 32 people from a hotel in downtown Seattle to an office in SODO. At first I thought we could just get a bunch of cabs but at the last minute I decided to charter a bus. I shopped around and Beeline was by far the best price. We rented a 56 passenger bus for our wedding day to transport out of town guests from a downtown hotel, to the church, and then to the reception. I worked with Meghan via email to book the service. She was very prompt and answered all of my questions. She also worked with me to fit the price into our budget. This place is a joke. Booked them for our wedding - here's some of what happened: - Very unresponsible contact (Lindsay). - Check got sent back because "they were moving that week" so I had to send twice. - Bus broke down on way to venue, was 20 mins late. Worst part was that I had to take time from my wedding photos to continuously call them while my guests were back at the hotel standing around in the lobby. - They eventually sent 2 smaller buses (not what I paid for), and the big bus behind it once it was fixed. Then, big bus broke down AGAIN at venue. Here's the crazy part: instead of sending the same 2 smaller buses again which worked on the outbound trip, they sent one medium bus KNOWING THAT IT WOULD BE TOO SMALL. Having learned my lesson, I stepped out from my own party to ask if they were all set, and they informed me that they sent the medium size bus, which was 8 seats too small for all the guests that came on the 2 smaller buses. When I asked what these 8 guests were supposed to do, they informed me that they "assumed these 8 guests could stand in the aisle" while driving through downtown Seattle. - Buses were late on both routes. - Emailed Lindsay to express my feedback, to which she basically replied "we did our job - no refund for you." Only positive thing was that the bus driver, Ronald, was a good guy and tried his best to make it work. When your company fails you this badly, there's nothing you can do, but he hung in there. Hopefully, a better transportation company will scoop him up. Avoid these guys at all costs! read more

We called to schedule a ride from cruise ship port to Comfort Suites. We didn't know there were 2 in the area, not being from the area, and they didn't ask us which one. Driver asked us where we were going, we said Comfort Suites, he also did not ask which one. They dropped us off at wrong hotel, which we didn't know until we tried to check in. Had to take an Uber to the other hotel. Called Beeline for a refund. At first they said we requested this particular Comfort Suites when we "ordered online." When I clarified that I called it in, she said she would research and call back. She later called back and said the info they had was for the hotel where they dropped us off, we would be given NO refund, and next time we should provide an exact address.
