Not the same as the place before but it's a decent deal if you want to scratch that itch of nostalgia but there is no pizza involved.

Tom Terrific here with another honest business review…read more My brother heard about this place and was aching to go there. He has his own Jumbo pinball machine in his home and he's really into it. So am I, so we stopped in a few days after Christmas. Admission on that Sunday was $20 per person. I was stunned by how many people were there. Male and a surprising number of females. Whole families with little kids were having a blast. It's a huge place with many hundreds of machines, most of which are pinball. They have gun shooting machines, the pac man type machines and my favorite the baseball games where this flapper rises up and a pinball shoots out and you whack it with the bat using your flipper control. My favorite pinball was the Twilight Zone. It gave me lots of time to bang that ball around and it had all the bells, whistles and lights I love. Many times in the 2 and a half hours we were there I'd just go from one machine to the next one all down the line. What fun! The men's restroom was medium size, easy to find in the rear and clean. I was surprised to find that they have a great concession court. It had lots of tables, chairs and napkins. There was a TV showing football. The biggest surprise was the quality of the food. My $3.50 hot dog was all beef on a fresh bun and there were all the condiments, even relish in packets. The food staff wore latex gloves and all of them were neat, clean and wholesome looking. I refuse to eat at any place that hires people with what we in Tampa call snot rings that go into their septum and hang down to their lips. UGH. Get the hell out of here. Not for me. Very unsanitary. I complimented the staff on their food and they thanked me. I noticed that they had quantity control. The french fries were made to order and they came out of a small sandwich bag that I assume was weighed for a consistent number of fries. You don't see that everywhere. I checked the counters and the floor of the kitchen and the entire place - it was clean and the floors appeared freshly mopped. A+ Past Times also had decorations and photos on the walls and my brother knew who the old men were that were depicted there. The walls honored the pioneers of pinball, a very appropriate thing to do. The entire staff and management was very kind as we asked questions and I got my picture taken with the white board stating I was Tom Terrific from Tampa, Florida. My brother said there may be only one pinball arcade that was larger and it resides in Los Angeles. I loved Past Times and it seems like so did all the other people. I highly recommend it for a date, a great family night out or even as a solo venture. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Past Times - 5 Stars !

If it looks like the weather is turning, I'd recommend starting outside and hitting up the batting cages or go-kart racing as those close first. We arrived just as the skies were opening up so concentrated on the inside. We had two small kiddos with us aged 5 years old. The Duckpin bowling was perfect for them. They loved it, and we selected the game theme as Christmas. Why not? It was Christmas in July! While bowling, we ordered dinner so we could eat and play at the same time. Think basic arcade/amusement park fare. But it was all pretty tasty. We ordered a large pizza and some garlic bread sticks. We devoured it all. From here, we went to the arcade, which was the biggest hit with the kids. They just loved all of the game options and winning tickets to win a prize. Personally, I was addicted to the quarter drop games and since it's all payment through a pre-paid card, it's easy to burn through the money! The rain eventually slowed so we checked out the outdoor putt putt golf and took the kids to a few of the rides. They loved the hot air balloons and the swinging ride. I will add, that the rides are more like carnival rides. Several of them were not working. We joined the kids on the spinning seat ride and there was a dramatic moment where they couldn't get any of the lap bars to open. It was actually very nerve-wracking. My bar wouldn't come up but after several tries they got it to open. My son's bar never actually got open after nearly the entire staff came out to help. He was surprisingly calm given the circumstances and we eventually were able to position him in a way that we could pull him out of the ride. The lap bar never opened. It was a little terrifying. But I'm giving the place a strong review since they truly seemed mortified by the situation. And allowed our kids to pick out whatever toy they wanted. While it was pretty traumatizing, they were able to pick out some new toys and that made them so happy. I was just glad I didn't sit in the seat my son was in. I don't know what would have happened!

Since her birthday fell on a Sunday, we were able to take advantage of their half-priced games promotion, which made an already great value even better. We all chose the Eat & Play Deal at the $14.99 tier, which includes an entrée of your choice and 40 game chips. In my opinion, this is an incredible deal, especially for families with kids. You get a satisfying meal and plenty of gaming fun without spending a fortune. My wife, son, and I ordered Dave's Double Cheeseburger, featuring two smashed beef patties stacked with fresh toppings. The burgers were expertly prepared, juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They were served alongside seasoned fries that were equally impressive and packed with flavor. Our daughter chose the Crispy Chicken Tenders and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. She especially loved the crispy, well-seasoned breading. One of the biggest highlights of our visit was our server, Toyri. She was nothing short of amazing and delivered a true masterclass in customer service. She was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and always seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. Outstanding service like hers can elevate an entire dining experience, and she certainly did. Another pleasant surprise was the rewards program, which gave our daughter an extra 50 chips loaded onto her Power Card. Little perks like that make the experience even more enjoyable. When it came time for games, Dave & Buster's delivered. They had an excellent selection of both classic arcade favorites and newer interactive games. My wife and I spent some time playing Space Invaders Frenzy, which was an absolute blast. Seeing my wife dive into arcade gaming--something she doesn't do very often--made the experience even more memorable and fun. Our son had one of the biggest wins of the day on the Pirate Wheel game, landing an incredible 1,000-ticket jackpot that was loaded directly onto his Power Card. He used his winnings to pick out a S'more Guy plushie for his growing collection, while his sister also found some fun prizes to take home from the redemption area. To wrap it all up, if you're looking for a place where you can enjoy great food, excellent service, exciting arcade games, and family-friendly fun without breaking the bank, Dave & Buster's in Canton is a destination you absolutely need to check out. Our daughter's birthday celebration was a huge success, and we left with full stomachs, great prizes, and even better memories.

For years, my family has been coming here for birthday parties and everyday fun. More recently, my husband had a work event here, and his employees seemed to enjoy the foods, drinks, and games. I think that the restaurant's casual foods such as pizzas and its alcoholic beverages such as cocktails taste very good. The kids "loved" the bowling and arcade games and spent hours playing them. The games are fun for adults, too (I liked the air hockey and laser tag, although I am not the most skilled at them!). The only problem that we have had was that a photo printer was out of paper, and we had to wait for the paper to be replaced. The employees spoke nicely with us.

We started off bowling and of course needed some snacks and drinks for fuel! I got a couple of cocktails and while they were craft by any means, they were decent and I appreciate the frozen options. I liked the large app sampler platter we got and it had so food that we had leftovers to take home. The staff member who checked in on us was super nice. Afterwards, we played some of their arcade games (there's over 85!) and checked out the prizes in their redemption area. I also appreciate that they gave us to go cups for the arcade portion so there wasn't any spillage. There's also laser tag, escape rooms, and a couple of restaurants with plenty of drink and food options so there's really something for everyone! I will note, we went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded with families and there were multiple private rooms for birthday parties. I'm hoping to go back on a random weekday for fewer crowds.
