Very good. The seats are amazing! The movie was good. The popcorn was hot and tasty! Though going to the movies is expensive.

Cinemark Tinseltown has several theaters that show the latest blockbuster movies. Advance tickets can be purchased online, and customers may reserve their exact seats. Prices for admission vary based on the time of day and the age of the customer. My husband and I bought tickets in person for a movie on a Monday afternoon. When we were at the entrance, a courteous employee in the back noticed us and asked us to walk toward the concession stand to buy tickets. On a computer screen, we selected our seats. The total price for two adults was $23. The concession stand offered typical snacks and drinks. Another courteous employee sold us candies and drinks. Another employee took our tickets. He kindly told us that the theater was being cleaned and that we could wait for a few minutes until it was ready. He told us where the bathrooms were located if we needed them. (Since the previous reviews were written, I am sure that this movie theater has hired some new employees.) In the theater, the leather reclining seats were spacious and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed watching the movie. Please note that this movie theater follows the township code and has a curfew policy: People who are under the age of 18 are not admitted after 4 PM on Fridays and Saturdays or if a movie will end after 11:30 PM--unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. read more

it is absolutely ridiculous that kids under 18 aren't permitted in to see a movie without an adult on Friday or saturday after 7pm. in this case the movie was Minecraft and as a parent of a HS daughter who purchased this ticket for her and her friends I am very displeased and we will instead stream movies at home instead of purchasing anything at this theater. Not all kids should be banned from theaters to watch a movie, some of us parents are actually raising responsible and mature kids. She will no longer ever be attending a movie there nor will anyone in our family. So in 2025, what should our kids do if they can't watch a movie? Absolutely horrible. Going to see a PG movie with my friends and not allowed in for the SECOND TIME. First timer...Great movie went to see Hobbs and Shaw. It's a great theatre if you like feeling like your in your own living room. Comfy roomy reclining chairs and if you want to get a beer on your way in to see the movie you have that option. Purchase tickets on line walked in she scanned the tickets and we were good to go. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Movies wasn't extremely busy so it was kind of nice crowd. read more

Friendly service with plenty of parking on the far end of the mall. It's location also makes it a good spot for date night or a friend's night out in close proximity it many restaurants, sports bars, shopping, etc. I love Cinemark's online ticketing platform too so you can skip the line if you wish. The concession stands are well staffed with options that include, of course, popcorn, nachos, drinks, candies and more. This facility always seems clean and stadium seating is always a win in my book. We have several theater options in the area which are good but this one remains a fave. read more

Doesn't let people under 18 in after 4 pm without parent to accompany them. Not sure if it's because they can't keep their building under control in terms of minors but that's not my problem. I'm 16 years old and I drove my 17 year old friend and 18 year old brother to go watch the new spider man movie which is rated PG. Told us we couldn't watch it because my friend and I were under 18 and my brother couldn't act as an adult, it was 5:30. I had to get the tickets I paid for refunded which took way longer than it should have. If I can drive a car I think I'll be ok watching a PG movie without my mommy or daddy supervising. read more

This is an absolutely rocking cinema!!!! They have renovated and it is the bomb! The new luxury recliners and stadium seating are awesome. I want them for our media room (hint, hint - someone tell me where to get them!!!!). The movie club is very cool; a rewards program that actually entices you to be there by offering one free tickets per month. You'll spend money if you are there, otherwise it's just another wasted reward card. I don't even mind the $8.99 per month; that's less than the cost of a ticket. There concession stand offers a lot of items and even has a bar for those over drinking age. Love it!!! read more

Cinemark Tinseltown is BY FAR the best theater in the area! I have always loved Tinseltown, but after recently remodeling, this place is just that much more awesome! I have a hard time even considering going to another theater. In my opinion, this theater has always had the freshest, best tasting popcorn out of all the theaters around the area. Tinseltown also now has luxury recliner seating, as well as order-ahead tickets that allow you to reserve your exact seats. There's no more worrying about getting there super early to find a good seat, and the recliners are SO COMFORTABLE. It is very convenient to not have to wait in line for tickets and just grab concessions. It has really cut back on the time spent in line and the crowdedness in the lobby. The entire theater has been redesigned beautifully. They have added new concessions, are now serving alcohol, and have an area where you can add hot butter to your popcorn on your own! I absolutely love Cinemark Tinseltown and would highly recommend it for a relaxing, enjoyable movie experience! read more

I have not been to this theater in years and wow what a change! I love the new reclining chairs and although we did not pat take it was cool to see the adult beverages available should we have wanted that option! We went to see Bohemian Rhapsody and the sound quality was great! We sat at the very back of the theater and it was so comfortable and relaxing that I will def be coming back again. As someone with knee trouble being able to sit and prop my legs up made it much easier to enjoy the whole movie. As far as snacks, we all know movie snacks are not cheap BUT I don't mind spending money when they are fresh and taste great. Our popcorn was extremely fresh and tasty and my daughter had pretzel bites that were extremely good as well. I'm looking forward to seeing movies here much more often now! read more

So for the past two years me and my friends have all been wanting to see the Five Nights At Freddy's movie together, earlier this week I purchased tickets on Fandango for this theaters showing on the 28th of October at 5:05. My friends and I are 17 and did not know of the theaters rules on Friday and Saturday that we would have to be all 18 to see the movie that day or have a parent with us. This only sucks because I spent more than half of my paycheck this week to purchase these tickets and enjoy this movie with my friends. I then get told that I can't get a refund because of the policy with fandango and I even tried contacting fandango and they cannot give me a refund ether. And I know I'm not that only one mad about this as there was a sea of angry people in that theater because they couldn't see the movie because of them being under 18. I appreciate that the employees were being kind and considerate during this but this rule is seriously ridiculous. read more

Listen, I've been an avid movie goer and cinema fan for a while now and there's a few criteria that needs met with a movie theater. 1. I can focus on the film without distractions or noise 2. Comfy seating 3. Prepaid tickets And well? That's about it. Concessions are a take it or leave it for me. The Southern Park Mall is a hop and jump away from this theater, being literally right next to it bringing its customers as well. Cinemark only hits one of these things on the money and that's the comfy seating but I would take the standard Regal seating with a good experience than comfy reclining seats where I can't focus on the film. This isn't particularly the theater's fault with the audience that they drag in. Anyone who actively shops at a mall typically falls into two criteria: loud teenagers who didn't actually want to see the movie but just wanted a place to spent their parent's money while talking with their friends or loud entitled individuals who don't consider others around them. It's not the theater's fault because of the nearby clientele that it attracts. Every time I've gone to this theater (regularly at least two or three times a month) I have a bad experience with the customers who just wont shut up during the film. While they can't control their customers, they can certainly control their employees and the cleanliness of the establishment. A majority of their employees can be seen playing on their phones or talking to one another instead of working. And the restrooms are a huge problem. I don't see a point in remodeling EVERYTHING except for the restrooms. They look like they're from the 1950s, trash and debris included. Want to actually watch the film and experience it? Don't go to this theater. Travel down the road, make two rights and hit Cinema South (better clientele AND better film selection). Tinseltown USA is a great theater. Ever since their remodel I ONLY visit this location (whenever possible). The popcorn is buttery and delicious, the sodas stay cold and carbonated, and the other snacks are yummy too. This location has the "luxury recliners" which are incredible! Nothing beats watching a movie with the comfort of your feet up and head back. Highly recommend! read more

I love this theater! It's still clean and comfortable. The seats are spacious and plush. ( they actually rock ). This is a newer theater... Kinda uptown for around these parts.... ; ) about 15yrs old. The surround sound is great as is the super sized movie screens ...( Web site) Just a side note: I really did get seasick on that movie w/ Tom Hanks and the volleyball...... Cast Away. It is a wee bit high in price for snacks and soda but the young people who work here are well trained and respectful. It's a real treat to be able to take the kids.... went to watch Joker movie... while there we were questioned by our age multiplied times. the manager is an absolute BONER and extremely rude. not to mention all the employees are extremely lifeless. also to mention, the theaters are so annoying to be in. everyone in the movie is always moving around, and this has not occurred one time. people are always talking and non stop going for a pee-pee break or getting a refill on some popcorn. never again will go there. this has happed so many times. every time we go our movie is ruined. read more

I haven't been to this theatre in a long time. We decided to take our kids here to see Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel after our enjoyable lunch experience at Chili's. We bought our tickets: 2-adults, 3-children-I think it was in the neighborhood of $34-$37. Ouch-I really haven't been to a movie in a long time. Next, we had to at least get popcorn and pop for the kids to share along with two boxes of candy (Admittedly, one box was for me). This came to $17. Holy crap-now I know why we don't actually hit the movies that often. Suprisingly it wasn't busy at all with maybe 40 people at the most in the theater for the movie. It actually made it nice as you had a good pick of seats. I believe this particular one holds up to 350 people. It was clean and the seating is stadium type seating which is always nice. The movie itself was a great pick for the kids and my wife and I enjoyed it as well. Im sure we'l' go back again to catch another flick but it won't be for several weeks. They have Stadium seating!!! That's a big thing since other theaters in the area don't offer this. I was at the grand opening back in the 90's and saw Mars Attacks. At hat time this was the number one theater to go to. I've been to much better since then but this place still holds up. It's clean and never too crowded. They are actually a buck cheaper than Regal Cinema but sometimes don't get top billed new releases. It's strange but sometimes there will be a big release and Tinseltown just isn't showing it. There must be something contractual there. But, I do like how they show older movies from time to time as events. For example, a few years ago on Halloween I went to see Ghostbusters here. They also do special events like Live Riff Trax. In this area, you really can't beat Tinseltown. It's also in a good location to grab food before or after a show. read more

This theater was renovated pretty recently but you wouldn't be able to tell because many of the new features are dirty and broken. Seemingly every seat makes a very loud noise when you recline them which is extremely distracting and the aisle lights shine onto the screen for the entire movie. The service is also pretty bad, and the theaters are sometimes still dirty from the previous movie. read more
