My parents had their wedding here almost 30 years ago and I have spent many fun summers hanging at the pool of this country club. I was surprised to see how much Squaw Creek had changed since I was last there (approximately 10 years ago). It was a beautiful place for a wedding...the ceremony was outside on the golf course and the room for the reception (inside) was absolutely gorgeous as well.

It's been a few years for me and the menu has definitely expanded but they still have some of my favorite options including the Hepburn salad, the Avalon grilled salad, and duo or trio salad. They used to have a buffalo chicken which was bomb! And sometimes a ham and cheese sandwich on a pretzel bun which was so good too! The reason I gave 4 stars is just knowing that sometimes the service can leave something to be desired. That being said Shelley today was awesome and very attentive along with the other staff.

Everything is order at the bar. Take drinks with you, and place a number placard on your table for food delivery. You can keep open a tab as they physically hold your card, or pay as you go. We went right at opening (4pm) on a Saturday in August. There were storms on the horizon so all the table reservations were held inside. We were still able to get a nice table as walk ins. Actually it was a perfect table near the stage. Too bad we were way too early for the live music. There were a couple of large groups celebrating birthdays in the back room by the fireplace.
