Service is terrible and whoever takes care of their inventory needs to find a new job because the last two times we have been here, they have been out of substantial food items or beer. I will share each of the last 2 experiences we have had, with last Saturday resulted in us walking out before even getting drinks. The first bad experience was about a year ago. We show up i believe it was a Wednesday night, we're seated and promptly told that they were pretty much out of every menu item. Being my husband's almost 90 year old aunt was in town we but the bullet and decided to stay. So when its time to order we literally asked for about every item on the menu and we're told they were out. They basically only had fried foods or salads. So we order. Service took forever, the girl is not suited for the service industry. Here's the kicker, when our aunt asked for a to go container they said THEY WERE OUT OF FREAKING TO GO CONTAINERS. Absolutely ridiculous. Our second and final trip we were served be the same girl who I have no idea is still around because she has zero service skills and a personality of a rock. We had friends visiting from Texas and we thought we would give it a shit. My husband asked for a coors light bottle girl responds "we're out of that". So we go down the line and my husband finally asks "well what do you have" her response? "I can tell you what we don't have". At that point my husband goes into the bar to see what they have and they offer him a bar menu(what a novel concept) he went to ask if they had coors light on draft both bartenders look him straight in the face and walk away. At that point he came outside and said its time to go. The service here is a joke and thats not how you treat people who are spending their hard earned money there. Just because you have a nice view doesnt mean you can have crappy service and constantly be out of items that people are coming for. Save your time and money.

And again at 0120 in the morning.. Not entirely sure what's going on, but that bothers me... Call me weird, but as a solo (female) van life camper hearing gun shots near your camp site isn't what you want to experience ... Honestly the RV campground was good, but the crazy person(s) firing off weapons was something I could have done without.

I'm a fan because we found a spot to put our kayak's in on the quieter saner leg of the Mokelumne…read more Don't get me wrong, I love Lodi Lake, just not all the loud folks that blast their music and take away the peace and serenity of the beautiful nature. I certainly wouldn't call the park a "resort". When I hear the word resort, I think of a high end place. Moke Beach RV Park is just a place to park your RV by the 99, get a hookup and have river access. We were able to get right down to the river which is good cause we don't have wheels on our kayaks; so no carrying them for 100's of feet, just pulled the truck down the dirt path and dragged them right into the water. If you have a small boat (emphasis on the word small) you can launch it from the park as well. This part of the Moke is not for speed boats (due east) there are many impediments such as fallen trees and very low waters...which in my opinoin, is what keeps the place peaceful. We did see a couple of jet skis but once they saw the conditions, they headed back towards the lake. Cost to launch, $5 per vessel. Not a bad deal. They do have a restroom with plumbing, but there's only one person in the office and if she's not there you're outta luck! Oh, and really, there are few places where you can pull your kayak or canoe ashore as most property this neck-a-the-woods is private. The proprietor is friendly (yes she was there) and informative about the area. The only other choice for river access is to know someone who lives on the Moke or to go to Lodi Lake....which I've read on their website, has added kayaks to the types of boats they rent at their boathouse. There are also kayak companies that bring their rigs out to the lake to rent-it's about time! Lodi Lake would be the perfect place for learning to kayak on a calm waterway. The thing we learned by our peaceful kayak experience;you don't have to drive miles and miles somewhere else to enjoy nature and the beautiful waterways; they're right in our own backyard!

This community has groups of individuals who are stalkers that are harassing people and claiming to…read morebe gangstalkers. They are meth addicts named Carmallee Wolf and daughter who are acting like vigilantes. They claim they have purchased contract with Lodi police as community watch program and it allows them permission to verbally assault and punish and threaten people. I have called the management about the tenants and they have not responded they continue to allow such deviant behaviour to continue going on this property. I have called multiple times without any response. Keep this in mind for anybody wishing to live near this property that these will be the neighbors in your back yard who pleasantly associate with you there is much more I could include but I would be writing far too much I think people should be aware of this that's all
