Came to Cannon Beach for the day and was looking for something inexpensive, and pizza always works for groups. We found this place and at first were a little put off by the price but it was well worth it. Got 2 pizzas, breadsticks and drinks. The Magherita pizza smelled amazing when it came out and had fresh basil and tons of tomatoes and super thin sliced red onions. It was hands down the best magherita pizza I've had. Also ordered the Ricardo and it was loaded with toppings. 2 pieces of that was more than enough. Even the cheese sticks blew me away. Don't do it! Save yourself. Pizza was tasteless and gave me stomach problems. The crust is good and you keep eating it if you're hungry, but then you realize it is bland with isolated ingredients that do not really feel like they were baked together. Unbelievably bad. Tried this pizza place on a whim late one night staying at a hotel in Cannon Beach. They don't deliver (not even nearby) so we had to drive to get it. Would have been fine if that hadn't been followed by waiting around for 20 minutes once we got there with zero service and then being handed a half-cooked (literally), cornmeal-covered, sad excuse for a pizza. Next time we'll drive to the store and buy pizza pockets to microwave when we have a craving. read more

Great little pizza place in Cannon Beach. Pizza was delicious and service was excellent. We were here on Labor Day weekend and the place was popping. We were happy to be able to sit and eat instead of take out or 2 hour wait at other places nearby. We saw the reviews coming in yet decided against better judgement to give this place a try. The staff was very nice, friendly and great smiles. The food came out quickly as well! The pizza however was disappointing. The slices are huge which is awesome but the pizza itself is lacking. The crust is almost doughy tasting -- not raw by any means, but for my liking could be a bit crunchier. The sauce and cheese was not good at all. I could hardly finish one whole slice. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but was sadly disappointed. I think there are better options elsewhere in the area to try. read more

Delicious!!!! I wish I had taken a picture before we devoured the pizza , but it was delicious. A thinner crust that was oh so crispy with the perfect amount of ingredients on top... and the Cesar salad was fresh and delicious too! Lots of overly critically reviews on here. It's a beach town pizza place and that means the "experience" you're getting is a beach a block away. The pie crust is crunchy and flavorful and the toppings are plentiful. Anyone who wants more than that should go stay at a resort with a 5-star pizza menu. read more

Today is the last day of our acquaintance (oh-oh-oh). So sad. Our yearly Cannon Beach trip was pretty much based on Fultano's Pizza. One year, we loved it so much that we ordered a pizza for the night we stayed at Webb's Scenic Surf and then ordered a pizza to go the next day to take home! Today, they cheated out on ingredients. Part-Skim mozzarella, cheap olives and non-existent tomato sauce-so sad. If I were David Attenborough narrating "Our Pizza", the pizza we once knew and loved has now become a vast wasteland of corporate ingredients. We used to love this place, but sometime in the last year or two, the management changed and it went downhill fast. The new manager is rude and has cut down in ingredients, service, and quality. We always loved the meatballs. The last time we ordered them they were dry and served with minimal sauce. The same with the last pizza- dry and skimpy toppings. They close down the salad bar long before closing, now, and the take-out boxes are much smaller than before. My husband and I had a long- standing favorite and we always received a free substitution for the onions, because my husband can't eat onions. The last time I ordered our pizza, I was told we would be charged for the substitution and the manager told me that the people who had been giving us a free substitute for four years, were doing it wrong. We walked in one night a half hour before closing and the manager asked us what we wanted. We told her we wanted to order pizza. She said they were closing soon and acted like she was doing us a huge favor by even talking to us. We told her to forget it and left. They used to appreciate business from local residents and businesses and called people by name and went the extra mile to make us happy. No more. We decided to give the place one last try a few nights ago. We tried to order some pasta and bread for take-out. The manager, again, was rude and argumentative and balked at our small order. So, we told her to cancel our request and hung up the phone. We run a local business as do others in this town and it is really bad form to treat us poorly. When visitors ask us for a good place to eat, Fultanos will not be mentioned. Sorry, they lost us for good. read more

My go to Restaurant in Cannon. Their crust is amazing, thin, but thick enough for those who love a good doughy pizza. The cornmeal at the bottom adds that extra crunch that makes all the difference. I really enjoyed their Margarita Pizza, all ingredients were fresh and delicious! My mom got the Veggie pizza and loved it too! Can't wait to come back again in the summer! read more

Our pizza was just "ok". There is a small area to eat outside so it was a nice choice since we had our dog with us. We wanted to split a pizza and have different toppings on both sides. They would not let us do it unless we ordered the large. They also don't have just slices to go in the afternoon after lunch hour. We ordered the Meatzo, but asked to substitute sliced tomatoes instead of salami and pineapple instead of pepperoni. She said that was fine. She then wanted my card number, but I hadn't told her what kind of crust we wanted. When I asked what kind they had she said , "thin and thick". I asked how thick the thick crust was, she said, "thicker than the thin". When she got to the price it was $6 more than the listed price. Remember, there is no tax in Oregon. Worst experience ever! My family and I have been coming to Fultano's once a year for the past 10 years. Today I was surprised how terrible, disrespectful, unprofessional & rude the manager taking orders at the register was. As a manager in the customer service industry myself, I was highly disappointed in the treatment I received. He was abrupt and argumentative. I have never written a review for anyone until now, but I had to spread the word! To add to the experience, I waited about 4 minutes for the restroom & was dripping sweat because it is unbearably hot inside this place. The restrooms were absolutely FILTHY. Many pizza places offer a few pies with roasted garlic. So when I saw a Goat Cheese pizza on the menu with, well, goat cheese, roasted onions, and roasted garlic, I thought I knew what I was getting. I was wrong. Instead of a few cloves scattered here and there, this pizza was teeming with large, plump, golden-brown cloves of perfect roasted garlic. Try five or six, to a slice.....Perfection! Rivaled only by the other half of the same large pizza, the Spinach, which was a lovely, diverse blend of spinach, sundried tomato, red onions, feta, and fresh garlic. Plenty of. And all mounded on a tasty crisp cornmeal crust. Delivery was fast, easy, and friendly, so this is a great Cannon Beach option if you don't want to leave your ocean-view hotel room to meander out for dinner. Fultano's also has a sit-down restaurant, plus plenty of pizzas and other entrees on their menu, and clearly enough options to please everyone. Especially roasted garlic lovers! read more

After hanging out at the beach for a while (beautiful BTW), decided to grab a pizza. I would compare this pizza to the frozen pizza you would get at 7/11 or your neighborhood Walmart. The crust was very hard. Close to burnt but not quite burnt. Just very hard and crunchy. The sauce had very little flavor, and do nothing to soften the blow of biting into a piece of cardboard disguised as a pizza crust. The toppings were Okay, the temperature of the pizza was "warm" -- not hot as you would desire in a slice of pie. The restaurant is also quite warm (HOT) as the ovens share the same room as the dining room, and there is little ventilation to move the hot air produced by the oven outside. They also do not appear to have A/C, which would be acceptable given the local cool climate, if not for the coal miner temperatures produced within. Walking back to the (dirty) restrooms, you will experience the sudden rise in temperature which will make you think a nearby Volcano in on the verge of erupting thereby venting lava into the back storage rooms. If you're really hungry go for it. But for the price, I would not recommend it. The soft drinks seemed a to have a good mix, so I guess that's good. read more

We dream of Fultano's pizzas when we're stuck inland. They make a crisp cornmeal crust that is the perfect base for the vast variety of toppings available. They deliver - quite capably even in the busy summer. Inside dining is pretty typical 1970s pizza palace decor. The service is friendly. In the afternoon they have bargain deals on pizza slices. It seems like a waste of a meal to eat pizza at the coast, but Fultano's is worth it. read more

First, the pizza was pretty good. Not great, but decent. But we had a defining customer service moment on Aug. 19 that will make it impossible for us to return. A party of eight, we ordered a lot. One of those orders was a veggie pizza, half with cheese, half without. The counter person assured us that wouldn't be a problem. We trusted her, and we assumed it wouldn't be a problem because last summer, we ordered vegan pizzas on multiple nights from the same location with no problem. It took awhile for the pizzas to arrive, but we compensated by hitting the salad bar (side note: it's a surprisingly good salad bar). When our sullen server brought the food, we got a half veggie pizza, with cheese, and a half cheese pizza, without veggies. In other words, there was no vegan half. "Is this vegan cheese?" I asked, hopefully. "We don't have vegan cheese," he said. I protested. "Well, then this isn't what we ordered." He said, "I didn't take your order." "I know," I said, "but it's still not what we ordered." "Are you sure you explained it clearly to the cashier?" he asked. I assured him I had. This was followed by a long, awkward silence. "Okay," I said. "How about we forget the pizza and you bring us another slice, with veggies and no cheese." "Well," he said, "I'd have to just pick the cheese off by hand." He walked away. Here are the things I wish he'd said, in order: 1. "I'm sorry." (That would have probably been enough right there.) 2. "Let me fix that mistake for you." 3. "How about we knock the price of the pizza off your bill." Any one of those would have been enough to ensure we came back. As it stands, we'll have to go elsewhere, which is a shame, because the salad bar was pretty good. read more

We had an enjoyable dining experience, but felt it was way over priced. The salad bar was nice and had a decent selection considering it wasn't very big, but for one trip the plate was small. We order a medium margarita pizza (very tasty), 4 small salad bars, 3 sodas, 1 beer, and 4 sides of ranch and it was just about 70 bucks. it was a nice location, staff was friendly, restrooms were very clean. Dough is OBVIOUSLY frozen, which can still be decent if its cooked well. As I was waiting for my slice I kept seeing pies covered in toppings, don't expect your slice to look anything like the whole pies. Very hot, crowded, poor service; I don't expect much out of a pizza joint, buy I do expect an edible piece of pizza. Stick with Pizza a Fette up the street, much, much better! read more

Decided to come grab some pizza here with my boyfriend while we were at the beach (because who doesn't love pizza, right?). So, let's start with the positives: the dogs liked it, and the music wasn't bad. Cons: As soon as you walk in, it is HOT. The weather was typical for this area, so you would think that the owners would know by now to put in an air conditioner or something to make the restaurant feel like a restaurant and not a sweat box. Secondly, the server was very rude ( no apparent reason why). The pizza did come out in a timely manner (15-20 minutes, as you'd expect for a fresh pizza,) but the bottom was about as crunchy as a chip, or burnt cardboard. This place is a disappointment to pizzerias everywhere. Though this seems to be the local pizza joint, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Well after coming her for 20+ years and having left a five star review last year. It saddens me that with new ownership (or I assume it is) the pizza is NOTHING like it was. Hence the 1 star review. The crust which was always amazing and crispy was soggy. The pizza was cold. Family members had pizza that was cold and one pizza looked like they forgot the toppings. We just left this place. The pizza is pretty good. However, the manager is pretty rude. My friend is allergic to pork so we ordered a pizza with ground beef. When it came, he asked if it was sausage. She snapped, "It's beef." He asked if she was sure and her only response was, "It's beef." and didn't even check with the guy who made the pizza. We ordered and paid for 2 salad bars. When we moved the tongs on the lettuce no less than 6 flies flew out. So, we skipped on that. This Fultano's is my very favourite location. My fiance and I tried to visit the Seaside location on our last night on the coast, and that was a big, chaotic mistake. It was simply far too busy. While the service at the Cannon Beach Fultano's isn't the greatest, the pizza is delicious and the location is perfect. We adore the quaint patio that's perfect for people-watching. Fultano's is located right in the middle of downtown Cannon Beach. Another bonus? The patio is dog-friendly so feel free to bring your four-legged friend. I was really happy to learn that Fultano's offers a gluten-free pizza crust, which is what brought us here in the first place. It's absolutely wonderful with a perfect balance between crunchy and chewy. While I prefer my margarita pizza with large leaves of basil rather than miniscule shreds (sorry, Fultano's - that's where you lost a star!), I really can't complain. Their menu is full and varied with tons of amazing pizza options for everyone. My fiance had the full meal deal with the Haystack Pizza. Fultano's is an easy, convenient and tasty way to end any day in Cannon Beach. We'll for sure be back! read more
