It was the 2nd best decision of my life (#1 is my wife who pushed me to do career counseling). Anna was amazing and the entire process gave me such confidence in my decision to change careers. Changing careers feels like a huge risk but it's really an educated decision after trusting in Anna and Jody Michael's process. If you have a feeling that you would be better/happier in another career, do yourself, your family, and your future employer a favor and contact Anna Bray at Jody Michael. Long story short: my career discovery and career change process took 7 months from my first session. I've waited about 5 months to write this review, and I could not be happier in my new career. Anna is a Jedi who used the force to professionally and thoughtfully guide me thru a calculated career discovery process. She invests countless hours a week (not just in session) in her clients and it shows. Thank you, Anna & everyone, at Jody Michael. FYI - Accounting & Finance to SaaS Tech Sales

Similar to last time, this business will appeal to Yelp to take it down claiming it's fraudulent but that's just the cut throat business acumen behind Jody Michael. To summarize, you will waste your money using a proprietary career rating matrix that is likely to tell you nothing new by the end of your session package. If you're desperate to find a path forward, consider upskilling, get a career coach (not whatever Jody claims to be) and focus on positive mindset. For these brief sessions, you will be charged hundreds of dollars and sometimes Jody will take calls while on vacation and cut them short! She offers little empathy given the context of a client needing career support and having come from stock exchange into six figure social work she will brag about, you're paying into someone's fortune while taking from yours. Save your time and money!

We simply decided to begin pre-marital counseling because we valued talk therapy and figured it could only be healthy. Little did we know how many communication breakdowns we would be empowered to identify and improve week-after-week. The laughter and tears and happiness and anger which we are free and safe to express with Aysha -- and use to become closer to one another -- is priceless. Aysha has become a crucial part of our relationship. We regularly walk away from our sessions with so much to talk about and in a great place to share our feelings even better than before. And through our weeks, we consistently recall her counseling and refer to her insight. She is truly adept at listening to us and understanding us, but most important, she's helped us better listen and understand each other. I would recommend her to any couple in any level of satisfaction. She's helped us grieve through loss and celebrate each other alike.

I like her so much that I've navigated and fought through a myriad of insurance issues, including having to suck up and pay out-of-pocket for services. Aysha has been so wonderful and understanding through it all, and of course has continued to help me sort out all kinds of long and short-term issues that have prompted me to see therapy. She has flexible hours (LOVE Saturday appointment availability) and is very responsive to emails and phone calls/texts. In short, I would recommend her (and Simply Counseling) without reservation. Oh, have I mentioned that I'm a mental health professional myself? :)
