This woman is amazing. I've tried various coaches & counselors over the years to tweak this & that about myself. Although most have helped a little, I've found myself coming away feeling somewhat incomplete.
Enter Emily Hillman: We've all heard the phrase "diamond in the rough" & Emily is
a very multifaceted diamond. In my experiences with her, she has exhibited every angle of what makes a person a true leader. Patience, perspective, & most of all, a personal touch.
Willing to let me take my first "baby steps" of addressing my concern. Giving me
the keys to stay on the path, plus making sure I arrived at my own discovery, instead of spoon-feeding me the answers. She has a great empathy for people's natures & at what speed each individual needs to go.
Most of the people I've dealt with in the past have also been a bit cold & clinical. I understand that, & it would be foolish to expect them to have too much of a personal stake in things.
However, this is to me what makes Emily head & shoulders above the rest. She's a natural at combining the proper perspective & initiative of a coach, with the warmth of a friend or family member. If you feel yourself getting lax, slipping back into old habits, or even worse, abandoning your new path, Emily's special technique is such that you feel that letting her down, is letting a true friend down.
No better way to put it: a diamond in the rough ! read more
