Showed up completely unprepared, THEN made suggestions that countered the entire timeline of medication prior to school starting schedule. C2C then assigned a different therapist 2 weeks later, only that therapist never showed up! Walked around the offices knocking on doors, but no one--not even the receptionist--was in the office. C2C called and apologized, but the incompetence is everywhere. Avoid this company at all costs... Reading the other 1-star review from January, it's clear that C2C is trying to fill their roster with anyone who will take a job without ensuring professionalism, competence, or reliability. Thankfully, we jumped ship with this joke of a company. If your mental health for you or yours is important, this is not where you should be gambling that mental health. Get with a company that cares--not one that's engaging as a hobby. Truly stunned at the incompetence at this company.

This was unsettling on its own, but she also used coercive language, framing it as though the owner had personally selected her for me, implying I should follow her. Strange and unprofessional. The second therapist seemed disorganized and, frankly, not particularly skilled. During one session, there was a two-minute pause while she shuffled between two separate documents, repeatedly saying out loud, "I'm just trying to figure out which one I need" -- which, on its own, is fine, but over time it introduced real doubt about whether the person meant to be helping me actually knew what she was doing. That same therapist later forgot an entire conversation we'd had the week prior, and when I brought it up, she made me feel foolish -- saying something to the effect of, "How could you have discussed that with me? It hadn't even happened yet." I let it go in the moment to avoid the back-and-forth, but the second I walked out I checked my phone and found a text I had sent to my wife that same week, directly referencing that conversation. It wasn't just that she'd forgotten -- it was that she looked at me like I was imagining things, and later cited the moment as evidence of me being "activated." There are a lot of therapists out there. I will be looking at other practice groups for my next therapist because I just have not had good luck here.

I'm a graduate of Northwestern University and was distraught over my outcomes with other psychiatrists. I felt like I didn't suffer through that school to be on disability. Susan is a breath of fresh air. While she isn't in-network with any insurance company, her prices are reasonable (she's worth every penny), and she will work with your insurance on things like getting your prescriptions covered, provide you with documentation if you have out-of-network coverage, and fill out any sort of job-related paperwork that may be needed. I think it's saying something that she keeps her patient population functioning so well that they can continue to see her, even in the rough times. Unlike so many other psychiatrists, to the best of my knowledge Susan doesn't have patients in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, or regularly in an inpatient setting. We're all contributing members of society and she keeps us that way. As psych patients, I believe that's the most we can ask for: to be indistinguishable from people without mental illness. Susan ensures just that. If there's one thing you should spend a little extra on, it's your health. Take my word for it. Make your mental health a priority with Susan Bank. You'll be happy you did!

I did…read morenot need to be assessed while at McLaren but they asked and said it was optional and I figured it would not hurt. I was wrong. This crook kept me for an additional day at the hospital because he said a Dr. had reported they heard me making statements indicating I was homicidal. I was not even suicidal much less homicidal. He was trying to railroad a mental health nurse to inpatient care because I guess maybe he was behind on his car payments. He asked me three times during the first interview what I did for a living. You think he would remember if someone told him they were a mental health RN but not this genius. I was in for pain and CMH did a mental health screen and cleared me. Then the NP later told me since Mark assessed me he could override the CMH recommendation. Of course they did not tell me this prior to seeing this liar. I will never step foot back in a McLaren as a patient. I will be going to Munson in Gaylord or Traverse city. I find it hard to believe this guy has so many good reviews, I question the veracity of these reviews. They cannot possibly be real. He provided substandard clinical performance with clearly questionable medical judgement and honesty to be frank. He was dismissive of my statements and he talked at me more than to me trying to build his BS case for homicidal ideation. He lacked professional conduct as his approach to medicine was highly questionable and unprofessional, he actually called me a liar when I denied homicidal ideation and told him he was a quack. He yelled it as the nurse was pulling the monitor away from my bed. His dismissive attitude and unprofessional conduct compromised the patient-physician relationship. It was all BAD, it is as simple as that. I honestly cannot say one good thing about him. I only saw him twice but he made and cancelled multiple appointments throughout the day and I saw him LATE. UNACCEPTABLE! Even my nurse said he was horrible. The NP that was caring for me overrode this MOMO's recommendation and I was discharged to home at the end of the second day on the trauma floor. I have patients on the behavioural health unit I work on tell me that ER nurses and doctors as well as psychiatrists and CMH screeners lie about what they say all the time, I was skeptical regarding this possibility but now I know this definitely happens. What is way more common though is the patients telling me that ER staff tell them they can either get out after 72 hours or they can leave whenever they want. Then once they get on the unit they find out the truth. This is exactly what happened to me. I was told I would leave the next day after a MRI was performed but this was not the case. This experience has made me change my specialty in nursing as I refuse to work for a behavioural health unit, I do not want to be any part of the broken mental health system in this country. You have been warned.

My daughter started getting psychiatric care to manage her meds - after MONTHS of being on a wait list we finally got someone and have seen her 3 times only and she cut her hours and no longer has availability for us. After WEEKS of emailing back and forth and talking with a case worker and asking to speak to a manager I finally got the manager to call me only to tell me there is no one else we can transfer to to get medication management care. Months and weeks of this. And no email response either from the manager, Mary is her name. They can't keep track of anything either. I'm only staying because my kids do like their therapists and need to see therapy and we have state insurance and can't find much care elsewhere, but having being dropped and having to start over and over is infuriating. Don't waste your time at this place. They are not worth it. Also, they have a policy that says they can drop you if you don't give them 24 hour notice oof you need to cancel. It seems like only one of my kids therapists stated this and not the other, so it's inconsistent. If my kid is sick coming home from school and I need to cancel, they said they could drop us. What a joke! Don't waste your time here.

In fact I'm in worse shape then when I started with them. 4 therapists and 2 psychiatrists in that time. It's hard to make progress when I'm continuity starting over. I have had to start from the beginning every time. It's like a launching pad for therapists fresh out of school. They get a couple of years there and then move on to better jobs. To make matters worse, most of the administrative staff are so rude and not knowledgeable. From the receptionist through the Sr VP. All defending the problems, never taking responsibility. They have made several billing problems; from running my credit card, without my consent, when I had no appointment, to overcharging. It takes multiple phone calls and a lot of time to get these issues resolved. Not to mention how rude and combative these people are. Having to interact with them is a nightmare. With the exception of Frannie in billing and Carolina. Whom both go out of their way to be helpful and kind. Given the fact people go there at low points in their lives, you'd think they'd be a little compassionate and helpful. I was without a psychiatrist and capable therapists for over 6 months. I can honestly say I'm worse off from when I started with them. Sadly, my insurance isn't accepted there and behavioral health people are in high demand right now. They have a sliding scale. So m stuck for now. Please run, don't walk, to another practice
