We had already selected our appliances, cabinets, quartz (color palette) and showed him our renderings. I explained I was looking for a simple yet stunning pendent lamp to hang over our dining room table and was considering the ginger black and white pendant lamp by Marset. Glen took the time to sit with us and reviewed our plans and offered his opinion. We were happy to hear he thought the lamp would work. When it arrived we were so pleased. When I was in need of Glen's expertise once again in terms of the approximate placement of the lamp above the dining room table he responded quickly. He took into consideration how the light should shine on the table. Both my husband and I were very happy to work with Glen.

Only issue with the company is I sent in 1 request with 2 repairs including pictures. The quote was pretty high for (1) connecting a hall LED light that was already purchased and (2) changing a motion detection light switch to a normal flip switch (which I did not have the parts for). When the technician arrived, he informed me that the quoted price $350 was for only one of the items. He wasn't aware of the additional repair and would normally have to charge me $175 but would give me a discount and only charge $125. So a total of $475 for less than an hours work. I'm buying a new home that needs a new breaker box, canned lights and additional plugs installed. I can't give them that work because I can't imagine what charges/up-charges I'd be looking at! Yikes!

Other companies either told me what I wanted wasn't doable or flaked on the scheduled appointment. I told Jody I needed a Tesla Wall Mounted into the garage. it was a complicated process because of old panels but the work around was to make a sub panel dedicated to the EV Charger. I asked if he can slide me in his busy schedule rather than waiting a week. He asked why I was in a hurry to get it done and I told him "I HATE CHARGING AT SUPER CHARGERS and I'm off on Thursday" .... Needless to say, Jody slid me in his schedule 2 days later instead on Thursday and got the job done in under an hour. I highly recommend Jody .

We were able to park pretty close this time around, and it was not too hard to get around by foot. The sidewalks seem to have somehow gotten smaller than what I remembered and it was muddy after rain, so it's a bit difficult as a big group going through (we had a group of 6). Most houses had their lights up and running. Part of the magic in my memory of visiting this area in previous years was seeing people hanging out in their driveways and on their porches, with some selling/giving away refreshments. Not a lot of that tonight, probably due to it being close to Christmas already. Otherwise, the people that we did meet and pass by were very friendly! Otherwise, a good variety of decorations and houses to look at! Seems like there are more houses than usual with their lights off, probably because they were out of town, but it would have been nice to leave it on a timer for the rest of us still in town. But at the zero cost to us to view? I can't complain too much-- always a nice time here in Sleepy Hollow.
