Jason Thesing, owner of JMT Lighting & Electrical, came to my rescue at a time when I could not get any other high quality electrician to accept my job. The electrical plugs in my bedroom kept going out. The breaker in the main Electrical Panel kept going off. We'd go out and flip the breaker, but it would only help for a few hours before it would flip off again. I was extremely concerned their was a serious issue or electrical fault in the Main Panel. Jason found a way to squeeze my little job into his schedule and not only changed replaced that breaker, but one other. Then, a week later, our garbage disposal plug stopped working. I became a bit panicked as our tiny house was only two years old. Our entire family worried that the Electrical Panel was installed improperly. Jason returned and once again replacedbreakers and blown out electrical plugs. He also checked all the electrical outlets on the entire house, including outside plugs for the second time. We are able to sleep soundly now and know that we are safe from possible electrical fires. We also know he will do his very best to fit us into his busy schedule, if another issue occurs. I had called JMT for assistance on the lighting system throughout my new house- they were able to help me out as soon as I placed the call. I had 2 gentlemen (Hunter and Jason) evaluate my issue. They were very professional and were unbelievably organized! They did the led lighting, the USB ports, under cabinet lighting, hang all of my televisions in each room, my Bose surround sound throughout my gym, garage, backyard & living room. Jason shows up on time; he isolates the problem; he explains the situation step by step; he knows the building code and honors the building code. The problem is solved for a good price. Easiest check I have ever written. He is professional and has a fun personality. He did excellent work and was detailed oriented (he made sure that all the screws on the face plates were a matching color and style). Jason is a pro and knows his potatoes about electrical problems. My garage power tripped off when I used a chop saw and it wasn't the breaker that tripped. So since it affected outlets as well as front and back porch lights, the problem could be anywhere. Well Jason traced it down and it ended up being a couple different things. At least 1 was of my own doing, wiring up a ceiling fan. He is very conscientious about keeping the electricity on so my family could go about their business. If it was off at all, it was only briefly to hook something up and then it went back on. I liked that I could text him to set up the appointment and he replied right away and even texted me when he was on his way. I'm going to have him back to upgrade my whole breaker box next month. read more

I found an electrician I will always go to! Jason and his team took care of my home 2 weeks ago and my wife and I couldn't be happier. We had multiple electricians review our situation (fix attic to bring it up to code and add 2 circuit breakers) and we chose Jason for the following reasons. - Very professional and courteous. Let there be Light!! The lights in my kitchen, master bath, dining & living rooms all stopped working suddenly. Nothing was tripped on the GFCI outlets or my fuse box.... Darn it! This review is a bit overdue. In May we used JMT to install a 220 Tesla charger in our garage. Jason, the owner, worked with me to identify the best/cheapest way to get her done. He also worked with me to obtain the proper city permitting and documentation for the SoCal Edison rebate program. Also did a free troubleshoot on a dead outlet, which our handyman could not figure out. It took Jason about ten minutes... Most importantly, he was a trustworthy and very nice guy to deal with. My wife and I used JMT Lighting and Electrical back in August to update the lighting situation in our home. They did such a great job that we recently called them back to install new lighting and a ceiling fan in our family room. Again they did a fantastic job. While Jason was tracing a circuit back to our electrical panel, he noticed what terrible condition the panel was in. He showed me specifically what his concerns were from a safety standpoint and I completely agreed with him. He recommended replacing the old panel with a new one which he and Hunter did.
