This ride is epic! Start to finish! The launch is unreal. Won't ruin it for those who haven't been on it but the loop is insane as well. Enjoy!

Full Throttle is hands down my favorite ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. It is not the tallest ride in the park, it is not the fastest ride in the park but it definitely was the most unique ride in the park. It is a launch coaster, topping speeds at 70 mph. Not only does the coaster launch once, it launches a total of three whopping times providing an experience that no other ride can offer. With a loop that goes 160 ft in the air, you're definitely in for a treat when riding this ride. When you're in the queue, you can't see the other half of the ride so you have no idea what happens on the second part of the ride, which is actually better because you're definitely in for surprises on that hidden side. The queue for this ride is usually always long and I can see why -- it provides a thrill experience that no other ride does in this park. I definitely think this is my favorite ride in the park and I would definitely come back just to ride Full Throttle!

Probably one of my fav rides at six flags! Never fails The line is mostly always long as per usual and it takes a minute to get to the front. If you don't like rollercoasters there is a show right next to this area and you can wait with some food from the store right in front while everyone else enjoys the rollercoaster but don't tell people they can't enjoy this lit place!

Unique. Never rode a coaster that uses a loop twice. Inside, then outside for the finale. We climbed 7 stories in 2 seconds. Good fun. Worried about the end, but there was plenty of room to stop without a harsh oomph.

Tallest coaster loop in the world!

Living life Full Throttle is always a good choice when stepping foot onto the Magic Mountain grounds as this coaster quickly jumps to Full Throttle speed! This coaster is located near the front of the park making it a good first stop once your inside and also a good last ride when your ready to take off! One of the things i found that I liked the most about this ride is the fact that they have two separate bins for you to put your belongings in and when the other train comes to unload wile you are riding I have seen a ride operator stand in front of the bins keeping the unloading guests from getting into it. That is definitely a plus as most the rides your stuck renting a locker or just leaving your items to the side hoping they will be there upon your return. Once you reach the front of the line your ready to concur the worlds tallest looping coaster and first ever "Top Hat" design of awesomeness! As you set foot into the train to buckle up your seat belt and pull down your lap bar you might get some one of the ride operators who likes to play a joke or two on you before your about to take off so it comes without warning making it that much more fun! After you've hit the Full Throttle you make your way to that huge loop to find yourself going through it with the most air time I've ever had in a loop! Once through the huge loop you get a few twist and turns then straight into a corkscrew that spits you out right into the old monorail tunnel where you come to a halt! After this brief pause you get shot backwards into the corkscrew with the sound of Ozzy Osbourne's crazy train laughing at you as you come to a stop in the twist you go barreling down back into the tunnel where you pick up speed then carve a left turn only to find yourself again heading straight for the worlds tallest loop but this time you go right over the top of it and on your way down is where I find the only flaw with this coaster as the air time is cut short with the train slowing down before it comes to a stop at the station. Overall this is an amazing record breaking coaster that I can ride over and over again as it's just super smooth and an all around radical experience again and again. So with that said make sure your living your life Full Throttle as it's just the way to go for an amazing top hat experience!

Hurricane Harbor Deserves So Much More Love!…read more Hurricane Harbor is hands down the best water park! My family and I have been coming here for years, and we always have an absolute blast. The rides are awesome, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect place to cool off, have fun, and make unforgettable memories with the family. Honestly, this park deserves way more recognition because there's so much fun to be had here. We've been coming back year after year, and it never disappoints. Whether you're looking for thrills or just a great day in the water with your family, Hurricane Harbor delivers! Five stars all the way! We'll keep coming back for more summer fun. Hands down one of our favorite places to make family memories!

We tried to get a locker and the scanners on the lockers were broke. So everyone had to use the kiosk. Problem 1. We got on a slide that was awesome. Perfectly dark. Short line but should have just stayed in that area because we got lost trying to find the entrances for many rides. There were no entrance signs or directory signs besides the first crossroads sign. The raft rides had no rafts so we had no idea where to wait when there were no lines. We decided to go to guest services and asked for a map and the kid working looked at me like he had never heard of a map for a theme park before. We then asked how to get on the slides directly behind his kiosk and he actually said "I dont know the park." ?!? Lol Their main food building had the longest line of the entire park and no coverings for the line as well. Just the hot sun. All of this was minor compared to the fact we waited in a line for a single person raft ride for an hour while people with "blue rafts" continually went on the ride over and over because they get to skip the lines...no where in my purchase of season passes or upgrades was I offered this option but paying as much as we did and watching people who paid $18 skip us was the sign it was time to leave. So we left. Do not recommend

For today's review, we're going back to 2025 when I took my last ride on X2. And on the surface. It…read morelooks outstanding. I mean, just LOOK AT IT. A near-vertical drop, seat rotations, MASSIVE inversions, AND it's HUGE. This thing looks like it was not created by man. Unfortunately, we cannot ride it since it's closed forever. Which is REALLY depressing because if you pay attention to the coaster community. X2 has a reputation, and it's a GOOD reputation. Not only is this coaster absolutely amazing, but it's one of the BEST coasters in the WORLD! I'm NOT kidding. Ever since it opened in 2001, X2 has always been widely considered one of the best coasters ever made. As well as a historic coaster, since this was the first 4D Coaster ever built and the last coaster Arrow Dynamics made. So we're riding history! And history is sure amazing!!!! So yeah, let's get into why this coaster is so good! After getting into the restraints and hearing "Is everybody in?" "The ceremony is about to begin" and "X2" from your speakers (warning, this may take a while). We leave the station and head to the lift hill. While on the pre-lift, we listen to Frank Sinatra's "It Had to Be You." We then flip upside down from the seat rotations (YES! THIS RIDE GOES UPSIDE DOWN BEFORE YOU EVEN HIT THE LIFT HILL.) You then begin to rise as you're now facing the WHOLE park. During this time, you listen to "Enter Sandman" from Metallica (Awesome song btw) as well as some quotes from The Matrix. The anticipation continues to build up as you're now in your seats getting nervous since you have NO idea when the drop is gonna hit. We then flip once again at the top before hearing Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator" before hitting the first drop. And this has got to be the best drop EVER made. I'm not kidding. Not only is it near vertical, but your seat does a FLIP while you drop! All you can think is "HOLY CRAP. THAT WAS NUTS" Seriously, the drop alone makes this a top 10 coaster. But don't worry, the fun isn't over! We then hit the first raven turn, this is awesome since we fly and FLIP right through it which provides ALOT of sick forces. We then drop down and head into an inverse airtime hill (and flip through that) before turning right over the station. This gives us a breather to recall what just happened. But don't worry, we gain all of our speed as we drop down into a corkscrew-like turn (I say like since it's it's not actually one). We also flip during this so that's awesome :). Anyways, we the drop down next to a pair of flamethrowers (Which may or may not work) as we then head into another raven turn which is just flat out INCREDIBLE! At this point we are screaming "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" We then get one last flip before rising into the brake run where we cannot help but take a deep breath and start clapping as.... well... that was truly insane. Unfortunately, there have been some serious injuries on the ride recently. Involving a death in 2022 and two women requiring medical attention this year. Absolutely horrific incidents that should not have happened at all. And my thoughts and prayers are with the victims. And just today, Six Flags Magic Mountain confirmed that the ride is dead and that it will never reopen again. Which is really f*cking depressing. I get the reasons, and I won't fault Six Flags at all. Safety is the #1 priority here. But it's super sad and tragic that one of the best coasters ever went out on such a low note. I get why, but that doesn't make it any less sad or depressing. Especially given that it's injured and killed people. Seriously, I hope they come out okay. X2... one of the best coasters ever made. May you rest in peace. )= Final Score: 100/100 Opened: January 12, 2002 as X Refurbished into X2 on May 24, 2008 Closed July 12th 2026 Manufacturer: Arrow Dynamics Last Ridden: May 20th 2025

I did go after the holidays, so it was not as busy (I imagine it was WAY busier during the holidays). I am not sure if you are able to pay there, but I would definitely make sure to reserve and pay online before you go. There was not a ton of cars when I went, so after I checked in at the front, it took me about 15 minutes to get to the start of the lines. The whole experience took about 40 minutes. I have to say I enjoyed it. There were tons of lights everywhere and there were random mini shows throughout the drive. It was also kind of cool to drive through the park (which is something I don't think we would ever get to do if it had not been for the pandemic). There were some areas that were not as lighted as some of the other areas, but all in all, I thought it was kind of cool. I went in with low expectations and came out pretty impressed. A few logistics for those that still want to go. I believe that the Holiday in the Park has been extended for the rest of this week and then weekends until the end of January, so you can still go and see the lights. Tickets were a little on the pricey side (I paid about $35 per person), but I thought it was worth it. They also have a snack pack that you can add on to your ticket. I was tempted to add a funnel cake to my ticket, but decided to pass (lol). There are also porta potties right before you start the drive in. (I did not use it, but there is a Target about a mile or two on Magic Mountain Parkway, so if you can, I would suggest going there so you can avoid using the Porta Potties).

Today we're here to ride Lex Luthor at Six Flags Magic Mountain! The World's Tallest Drop Tower!!!…read more(Since Orlando Free Fall killed someone and Zumanjaro was closed without warning, which I cannot express just how pissed off I am at that). Once you pull down the OTSR's, you notice something interesting about them. And that's because they feel just like a lapbar. They aren't bulky, they give a ton of room, it feels just like a lapbar! And honestly. I like it! It gives so much room. So yeah, SWEET! We then start to ascend the Superman tower. If you're facing right, you get a good view of DC Universe as well as a good view of Batman, Riddler's Revenge, Twisted Colossus, Scream and Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage. However, if you're facing the other side, you get a good view of Twisted Colossus, Goliath, Full Throttle, Revolution, Tatsu, Viper, and X2. But either way, you're getting a GREAT view. Now, back when Superman was open, a Superman car will dispatch and it will cause the tower to shake a little bit. No this does NOT mean the ride is unsafe, you're gonna be fine. This is a structural thing that is done with 90% of coasters. But yeah, it scares the crap out of the GP. And I'm sorry to be mean, but I find that to be HILARIOUS! However, Superman is now dead so you can no longer experience this feeling, which is a bummer! =( We eventually hit the top where Lex Luthor says some dialogue before laughing. We are then waiting in suspense for a few seconds before we eventually plummet 85 MPH straight down from 400 ft in the air. And yeah, this is awesome on its own. But if you do what I do and close your eyes and look straight down. It becomes INSANE! Almost gives you the feeling of the first drop on X2. Well... not quite.... but it's sort of similar. Eventually, we slow down to a crawl right as we hit the bottom, where we can't help but clap. So yeah, that's Lex Luthor. And yeah this is a GREAT drop tower! I definitely prefer it to Superman as it's currently one of the best drop towers that I've ridden. So STRONGLY recommend trying this out as it's a great ride and a must do for all drop tower enthusiasts! Just be careful because Six Flags could tear this ride out without any warning, especially now that Superman Escape From Krypton is closed forever!
