Wow! Our first time to Hurricane Harbor and it was awesome!! The kids loved it! Management did a fantastic job refreshing the park and improving the bathrooms. Kuddos! They got new chairs but as usual very difficult to snag and you must get there early to get seating. There are no tubes for the lazy river or wave pool unless you rent one. We went with our littles so did not go on any of the rides. Definitely bring snacks as the food lines were very long and I avoided them as much as I could!

Came around 2:22 PM looked for a parking spot found it ASAP!! Walked to the tram bus got dropped off. THERE IS NO AC ON THE TRAM BUS BTW FYI HATE TO BREAK IT TO Y'ALL THATS A NEGATIVE. As we got onto the bus these younger teenagers a gang of them cut the line the bus driver announced that they get off the bus and get back into line the proper way he wasn't kidding. They were cussing be loud on the end of the bus. We stayed for a couple hours left around 5~ish PM this nice mama I was talking to were about to leave the park and gave us two floats. My son wanted to rent them but I was on a "BUDGET". Thank god, it worked all out. We also left too, and gave our floaties to other Ppls so they have a good time w/them bc we were done w/them!!!! This was the cherry topping to the cake for our last memories of summer, we both had a BLAST!!!!!!

Fun day with the family. Get here early or you will have to park far away. There is a shuttle that will take you to the front gate, it is worth the wait. We rented a cabana and it was totally worth it. Plenty of seating for the 8 of us. The ones by the wave pool are the best. They come with a small refrigerator with waters and 4 tubes for floating. There is a ceiling fan, sofa, chairs and tables, 2 sun loungers, an umbrella and a ceiling fan. Scan the barcode on your cabana for food and drink service brought to you. The kids had a blast!

I recently went for the Night event for Halloween at 7pm. I like that you can get on rides while you go on mazes as well. Not all rides are open but a good amount are open. The zombies do scare you but not A LOT. A lot less of them compared to other places. Some mazes were really short. The conjuring one was the best one! It's definitely family friendly scary. I saw a lot of young kids with their parents so if you're scared to come, don't be.

Avoid during the weekends at all costs. It's totally not worth the wait for slides and even the food lines are crazy long. If you want to rent a locker, expect to pay $16 or more for a bigger locker. Keep in mind the tubes you have to rent also! Having to rent a tube at a water park is ridiculous! Some are free but those are only for specific slides

    Birthday package pricing

I've been trying to reach anyone over the phone to ask about their Birthday Package deal that is advertised on their website for $48/person, including free admission for the birthday person. My issue with this deal is that it states nowhere any type of terms/conditions if this deal applies on the birthday only, or includes adjacent days. You'd think if you needed to have questions answered you'd contact the park directly, right? SO WRONG! My group has called multiple times, sent messages, left voicemails, stayed on hold for 10+ waiting for anyone to answer the phone and nothing. Then I look toward Yelp for answers and see one of the previous patrons tried using this birthday deal and was denied and asked to pay an additional $70/person because the deal is invalid. If it's not a working deal - why advertise it? And if the review isn't accurate or they're lying, there's absolutely no way to get in contact with the park. It even looks like they're extremely non responsive on yelp as well. Long story short, if you need to ask this place a question? Forget it.

$120 for a cabana (an area so you and your party can sit on cheap beach sits and leave your things unattended). Let that sink in for a moment. The lockers were offline, and the rude ass Hurricane Harbor locker employee (a young African-American guy) had this- oh well, not my problem- attitude and had the audacity to offer us to get a cabana at that atrocious price so we can leave our items on, in lieu of a locker. I just decided to log the items myself until a really nice (and pretty) life guard told me about a cheaper $30 alternative by the wave pool area. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star was because my youngest son enjoyed himself, as did I. The horrendous customer service turned me off from purchasing food inside the water park. So I didn't have the opportunity to try the food (but from what I've been told, we didn't miss out on anything good).

Ask the Community - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

How do you get a ticket for this place? Tried looking online and it seems like the only way you can get in now is with a season pass to Six Flags.

Online or in person I recommend online

Do they allow food from home?

    Idk

    How much are the cabanas?

The price varies. Check their website and select the day you plan on visiting the park to get an exact price.

Can you take you own food?

Are there cabanas to rent here?

Are the kids areas closed on tuesday?

Can you bring your own pool floats?

    No you can not.

Ima boy can i wear a plain t shirt or a men's tank top and still get in the water and on water rides?

Do they sell alcohol in hurricane harbor?

Why yes they do! The venue is called Pirate's Pub.

So no outside food?, sorry was born yesterday ...

No outside food. They did allow two water bottles to be taken inside the park. ( not sure if having little kids influenced that)

Does anyone know if there is a processing fee if I were to purchase tickets at the gate?

No, what ever ticket price that's what you pay. but if you buy E-tickets online you are more likely to save a buck $$.

You can download the Six Flags Magic Mountain app and t will give you live wait times

Can we bring water to make for baby formula?

Yes! I've seen many other people with young kids/babies do this inside the park. I personally bring a camelback filled with water but I also place clif bars, mixed nuts and/or a few other little snacks in there as well for the kids as we trek around… Read more

Does Anyone Know How The Flash Pass Works? We Are A Family Of 4, And Was Planning Of Buying Two Passes. Can I Share The Pass With My Family Members.?

The pass is a physical device. You can hand it off to anyone in your group.

Can you bring your own umbrella?

A rain umbrella? sure. There isn't a post or anything for a 6' umbrella.

Could I bring bottled waters into the park?

Hi, your not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks unless you have a medical note or a food allergy.

Is there a dress code? Can I wear a tank top and shorts?

Just don't wear shorts with grommets, rivets, buttons, metal zippers or any metal ornamentation that can scrape the slides. They won't let you down the slides and certain water rides if you do.

On a whole, I can't tell you how much we love this Rec Center's pool. It's a gem and life saver during summer heat waves. The sand is kept clean, the water is always sparking blue, and the grounds are well kept. Like I mentioned before, the pool is massive and always a pleasant temp during the warmer months of the year. I love that it has trees with a grassy area, civilized bathrooms, and outdoor shower sections. There's a beachy section near the pool's edge and cabanas you can rent for the day (first come, first served). ** A REFRESHING BIRTHDAY ** We hosted my kiddo's bday here last summer and were very pleased with the staff for being so accommodating to our requests. We rented tables for a nominal fee so that was worth not schlepping our own. We paid admission for 35 guests to camp out on the grassy area and dive into the refreshing waters until 5pm. The deposit and admission/person was quite reasonable. Especially since we celebrated from 11am to 5pm. ** 4th of JULY DRONE SHOW ** In 2025, the drone show for 4th of July was pretty cool. It was nice to see the community come out and watch the sky fill up and illuminate with hundreds of drones. We watched in awe as they rearranged themselves to music. I believe this is an annual event that the City and the local Fire Department host/sponsor. Approx. 35-min. showtime. Just mix all the good aspects of the beach with lakeside camping and water park thrills, you'll get this amazing recreational area. Best part, it has TWO WATER SLIDES at the end of its white sand-lined pool. Did I mention that the pool is ginormous?!
