The lines crawl. You spend more time watching tubes float by than actually riding them. Kind of wild that a Season Fast Lane is basically on vacation the moment you walk through these gates. The staff is... interesting. Mostly younger employees. Nobody seemed in a hurry. Ride ops moved at the pace of a lazy river. You start wondering if they're getting paid by the hour. Oh wait. Believe it or not this place is with coming to. My local water park is Raging water and it's definitely more packed. I would give it five starts, but it took us almost an hour to get in here. The parking situation if you come around mid day is horrid. It was my first time here. Once inside the park everything was great. Almost all attractions were open and working. We have passed and the premier is worth the up front parking. We also have the drink pass. Also worth it. You always get a handful of drinks while at the park. The thing I noticed was that not all the water slides were open and I heard a kid said he was sad becuase his favorite one was closed for the day. I am wondering if it was because of the crowd. Visited a couple weeks ago and overall I had a good experience. Tickets were about 55 bucks on line, the park itself is not big , you can definitely do everything in one day. The water is really dirty ( wave pool and river ) . Some workers were really nice while others had no clue where anything was .. the crowd is chill and clean. There's nothing crazy popping off - compare to Fresno water park. My complaint would be having to cary up all the floats especially on the tornado ride. That thing is huge ! Hurricane Harbor provide a great family activity for people in this area. It is a nice way to stay cool as well as active with your kids. It's been a smaller side, so it can get crowded quite quickly. But people tend to stay in their own space. If you want a seat, you have to get there at opening. Sometimes these may open throughout the day. But to have a guaranteed seat get there early. If you have the all part dining plan, you can use it inside of harbor. One thing that they really need to improve upon. There are plenty of seats that are not covered well. They even got rid of the shade that was covering the wine for the restaurant. Speaking a restaurant. There are only a few places to eat in the park. So when it's busy, the line is super long quickly, plan ahead. read more

Parking can be rough if you're heat sensitive cause the lot is pretty big and depending on where you parked you might have to walk about 15 minutes in 100 degree weather to the front. VIP parking is right next to the gate but is the same price as a ticket so not really economical. We go on the weekdays cause weekends can get pretty hectic with longer lines and the water seems to get dirtier and cloudy too due to more people. Security is thorough and no outside food allowed which is a bummer. Food there is what you would expect from an amusement park. The only place we could find to take a rest was on pointy uncomfortable big black boulders that surround their occasional trees. They could at least place some benches around the park. Security guard accuse me of stealing a bag. I believe he profile me because of my skin color. I was unaware of the situation but kept insisting it was me. After reviewing cámaras it was determined it wasn't me. This all happen in front on my children and they got scared. I was trying to plead my story but he kept pushing it like I was a criminal. Two other security guard were just as rude. They only gave me a name but not a last name. Yet they took my driver license and took a picture of it. They got new chairs but as usual very difficult to snag and you must get there early to get seating. There are no tubes for the lazy river or wave pool unless you rent one. Took the family here for the first time and they had a great time. My kids loved the Pirate Cove area as well as the Big Splash area. My teenagers enjoyed the wave pool and all the different water slides. I like the fact they even have a swimming pool. The only bad thing in my experience I had was with the lazy river and there being a lot of bees and leaves floating around in it, but other than that it was pretty cool. I like how they have all the different entrances and exits throughout the lazy river. My kids were using it as a shortcut to go to water slides. My kids would swim through the lazy river exit, get on a water slide and then when they were done they would hop back in and swim and go to another water slide. I like the different food options and they were pretty good food couldn't complain about it. just wish there was more refill stations. they all tend to be on one side of the park with the food area wish things have one more closer to the swimming pool. I personally like this one better than Knott's Soak City. read more

We had not been to this and have season passes, so we figured we should try this side out at least once and skip on the roller coasters to see what it's all about. When we came not all slides were open. The ones that were, were fun, and the lines moved fairly quickly. The lazy river kind of dirty, they definitely need to sweep, food was good, so that's a plus when you have been running around and need a boost. There was alcohol being served and at the end of our day, there were two people getting into an argument that escalated fairly quickly, and so that was a bummer. Maybe monitor the drinks a little better with these people, especially when they bring their kids and screaming and trying to assault each other, isn't the best example. Came around 2:22 PM looked for a parking spot found it ASAP!! Walked to the tram bus got dropped off. THERE IS NO AC ON THE TRAM BUS BTW FYI HATE TO BREAK IT TO Y'ALL THATS A NEGATIVE. As we got onto the bus these younger teenagers a gang of them cut the line the bus driver announced that they get off the bus and get back into line the proper way he wasn't kidding. They were cussing be loud on the end of the bus. We stayed for a couple hours left around 5~ish PM this nice mama I was talking to were about to leave the park and gave us two floats. My son wanted to rent them but I was on a "BUDGET". Thank god, it worked all out. We also left too, and gave our floaties to other Ppls so they have a good time w/them bc we were done w/them!!!! I came here with my family on a Sunday and by 10am the parking lot was already filling up! The park opens at 10:30 so we waited in line which was already formed. Pros: the kid(s) area is so cute and fun. There are multiple areas for them to go and my 5.5 year old loved playing in these areas. There are some chairs in shade which I was able to grab but not a ton. The lifeguards were great and I felt very safe. Cons: the water is FREEZING. It was so cold I couldn't even enjoy the water. To get a tube for the lazy river you have to PAY! I can understand a deposit to take one and you get it back once you return the tube but nope! $18 for a single and $25 for a double. The lines are long which wasn't great but I know they can't help that. We have a season pass so we will be back and I hope next time the water is more manageable temperature wise. read more

We really hated this because of its terrible service, especially the food like the french fries which are moldy. Bad staff, unmaintained waterslides, and bad management. Terrible hot dogs and uncleared water the whole place you could see trash . Please do not go there ever again. Go there for a bad day not for a good one. There was an accident with a waterslide because the attendant was on his phone scrolling. Staff are annoying and rude and most of them are probably there for summer jobs from 16-18. Bottom line: a terrible place. All in all, we did not feel welcome here. What kind of place do you think requires its own satellite police station? My wife won tickets to this place on the radio which seemed really cool but the tickets expired in a week, so we had to go right away but we figured we could splurge on a Cabana. Cabana: $350 First off, the poor people in the parking lot kiosks have no chair, no fan... they are just being forced to stand in their own sweat with the heat of all the cars in a tiny metal box in triple digit heat. We loaded up and walked to the entrance (I clocked it later, the walk was 3/4 of a mile). As we walk in there is a man on a microphone yelling at people - no explanation, he's just yelling "YOU IN THE YELLOW, GO RIGHT. YOU IN THE BLUE, LEFT. HEY!! BLUE LEFT." and again, more confusion and no information. We certainly didn't feel welcome. I put my things through the scanner and I had forgotten that I had left my work power cel and jumper cables in my backpack. I'm not sure what shenanigans they are expecting me to get into with that, but they forced me to take it back to the car after giving me a pretty hard time about it. When I got back to the line to get in, I literally just walked through security without anyone batting an eye. Nobody cared, they were just chatting amongst themselves about how bad everything was. Finally in the park, we found our Cabana which is just a small wooden structure with a corrugated tin roof. So if it's 105 outside, its 115 inside your cabana.... which is "cool". Two of our chairs were broken, there was no trash can but a safe? Mind you, the safe wasn't actually attached to anything, so anyone could just walk away with it. The police station out front was starting to make more sense. In front and all around our $350 cabana was dirt and mud. It looks like there used to be grass surrounding this area at one point but zero maintenance which has lead to lots of mud and puddles so there were just people falling in the mud which was simultaneously funny and sad. There was also garbage, everywhere. In the plants, piled up next to the trash cans, in the water. While visiting this place, you really get the impression that nobody cares about anything. I went with my kids to go and try some of the fun water slides so we got in line for one of the towers, which was already all the way to the bottom. 45 minutes later of mostly standing in the direct sun, we made it to the top of the tower where a single 'lifeguard' was up there and completely checked out to what was going on around. I've never seen someone with such little sense of urgency with regards to people. This person definitely made us feel unwelcome. I asked this person why there weren't more lifeguards to help "I dont know". After two trips up that tower it was already time for lunch. Lunch $120 - we ordered one of the platters which seems like a good idea for the family. The food is exactly what you would expect; terrible and gouging. $7 for a bottle of water? They do have the water refill stations around the park but I only ever saw two and we used those a lot. We waited an hour for the salad that never showed up. I finally had to go ask someone about it and I got this same response over and over and over again during our visit: I don't know. I went to where the food appeared to be coming from and asked someone there about our salad. "I don't know". Almost everyone person on the staff I talked to said this on repeat. It's amazing at how little the staff working here actually know. I finally found someone with an apron and asked where the salad might be "I don't know". Eventually our caesar salad showed up....with ranch dressing. After lunch we wanted to try some of the tube slides. Because nobody knows anything it took us quite a while to find out that we got tubes with our cabana rental. Where are the tubes? Every time I asked anyone about this I got the same response "I don't know" or they are over there *gestures wildly*. I eventually did find the tubes and we waited another 45 minutes to get to the top of the tower where we got to see how poorly built and maintained the facility is with badly welded and rusted joints, slippery steps.... Lastly we wanted to try the lazy river which I have to say was disgusting. The water was murky and gross with lots of....stuff in the water, like plant matter and lord knows what else. At one point our 8 year old daughter got separated from us and was just sitting by herself and crying her eyes out. Not a single staff member helped - I finally found her curled up and crying. The staff are simply inept - nobody knows anything and nobody is helpful. The park is disgusting and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. How we didn't get a disease is beyond me. After spending $450+ on some shade and something to eat, we definitely feel taken advantage of. We will not return. read more

We decided to splurge and rent a cabana for $350, hoping for a comfortable, premium experience. What we got felt more like the aftermath of a frat party. The couches were stained and dirty, the radio didn't work, and the food once ordered took over an hour to arrive. When it finally showed up, it was honestly worse than gas station food. We paid $60 for what could only be described as cardboard pizza, and $30 for stale pretzel bites. I've had better meals from a vending machine. The grounds were no better. The grass was so dead it looked spray-painted on, and I actually tripped over some kind of exposed wire or anchor used to hold the turf down. For $350, this was hands down the worst cabana experience I've ever had filthy, poorly maintained, and definitely not worth the premium price. Now, let's talk rides. I have three kids--ages 10, 6, and 4. The 10-year-old had a good time, but our 6-year-old, who is 45 inches tall, was barely able to ride anything. The park's height restrictions severely limited his options, which meant a lot of waiting around and disappointment. Not exactly ideal for a family day out. Bottom Line: It felt like Six Flags was charging luxury prices for a fast-food level experience. If you're thinking of dropping $350 on a cabana, I'd recommend spending that money literally anywhere else. We rented a cabana and it was totally worth it. Plenty of seating for the 8 of us. The ones by the wave pool are the best. They come with a small refrigerator with waters and 4 tubes for floating. There is a ceiling fan, sofa, chairs and tables, 2 sun loungers, an umbrella and a ceiling fan. Scan the barcode on your cabana for food and drink service brought to you. I recently went for the Night event for Halloween at 7pm. I like that you can get on rides while you go on mazes as well. Not all rides are open but a good amount are open. The zombies do scare you but not A LOT. A lot less of them compared to other places. Some mazes were really short. The conjuring one was the best one! It's definitely family friendly scary. The lockers were offline, and the rude ass Hurricane Harbor locker employee (a young African-American guy) had this- oh well, not my problem- attitude and had the audacity to offer us to get a cabana at that atrocious price so we can leave our items on, in lieu of a locker. I just decided to log the items myself until a really nice (and pretty) life guard told me about a cheaper $30 alternative by the wave pool area. Sort of a random end of the summer trip to take advantage of our gold member season passes. My daughter and I arrived just before the gates opened and even then we were very lucky to find an available pool chair to stash our stuff. Clearly without staff monitoring or intervention guests are claiming more chairs than they actually need, and there simply aren't enough chairs for everyone. So it's likely (depending on the size of your party) you won't find a spot if you arrive even slightly after opening time. Everyone we interacted with at the slides and pool area were very friendly. Then came lunch....Absolute nightmare. There was only one available location and line to purchase food from. We waited over an hour and a half from the time we got in line to the time we ordered our food, huge disappointment and inconvenience that HH can't offer other food options or at least a more efficient way of serving hungry families. The food was great though, hot and fresh, delicious. A young man was literally restocking condiments at the outside counter and my daughter wanted ranch dressing. I politely asked him if he knew where we could find ranch, his exact response: "No idea" Keep in mind this is an employee. Unbelievable. I don't know what's worse his customer service (or lack thereof) or the fact that HH would trust someone who's clearly incompetent with ANY level of responsibility This poor employee doesn't at all represent the majority, as everyone else we dealt with was friendly and courteous, but he certainly deserves some attention. I've been trying to reach anyone over the phone to ask about their Birthday Package deal that is advertised on their website for $48/person, including free admission for the birthday person. My issue with this deal is that it states nowhere any type of terms/conditions if this deal applies on the birthday only, or includes adjacent days. You'd think if you needed to have questions answered you'd contact the park directly, right? SO WRONG! My group has called multiple times, sent messages, left voicemails, stayed on hold for 10+ waiting for anyone to answer the phone and nothing. I asked for a replacement cup and they told me they would not honor the six flags cup because it did not have the hurricane harbor name on it. RIDICOLIOUS!!!!! I've been coming to Hurricane Harbor since I was around 7 years old! I'm now 24, and decided to go last Tuesday to relive some Nostalgia, and because I haven't been since 2019. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED! (In a good way). This place still has the same welcoming, nostalgic vibe as I remember from my Childhood. The only things that have changed are a few paint jobs to some of the waterslides, and some added Cabanas by the pools. Which I think adds a bit of charm! The lifeguards are always on duty and making sure everyone is safe and having a good time! The waterslides are just as thrilling as I remember, and going on a Weekday DEFINITELY helps improve the experience! No incredibly long lines. My 1 and ONLY complaint is the food. DEFINITELY NOT worth your money. Almost every single food item is more than $20! So if you're hungry, I recommend bringing your own food and eating it before you go in. We lined up at the Cowabunga Grill thinking it wouldn't be too bad, but we ended up waiting over an hour and a half, just for them to finally tell us they ran out of chicken patties and asked us to wait another 15 minutes. The line barely moved the entire time, and it felt like the staff had no sense of urgency or organization when taking orders. And after all that, the food we finally got? Completely bland. No sauce, barely any seasoning, just not worth the time or money. If you're heading here, I'd recommend packing your own food or eating beforehand.
