This park was bigger than I thought it would be. With our 6 flags season passes, we decided to mosey on over here to check it out and walk around. The thing I noticed was that not all the water slides were open and I heard a kid said he was sad becuase his favorite one was closed for the day. I am wondering if it was because of the crowd. It wasn't too hot. Like 73 so maybe not as crowded so had to conserve staff? Either way, seemed like a bummer. The food on this side was not as good compared to great america.

Food was nice and hot - not too pricey

Visited a couple weeks ago and overall I had a good experience. Tickets were about 55 bucks on line, the park itself is not big , you can definitely do everything in one day. The water is really dirty ( wave pool and river ) . Some workers were really nice while others had no clue where anything was .. the crowd is chill and clean. There's nothing crazy popping off - compare to Fresno water park. My complaint would be having to cary up all the floats especially on the tornado ride. That thing is huge ! I would return but there's definitely better places to visit

Hurricane Harbor provide a great family activity for people in this area. It is a nice way to stay cool as well as active with your kids. It's been a smaller side, so it can get crowded quite quickly. But people tend to stay in their own space. If you want a seat, you have to get there at opening. Sometimes these may open throughout the day. But to have a guaranteed seat get there early. If you have the all part dining plan, you can use it inside of harbor. One thing that they really need to improve upon. There are plenty of seats that are not covered well. They even got rid of the shade that was covering the wine for the restaurant. Speaking a restaurant. There are only a few places to eat in the park. So when it's busy, the line is super long quickly, plan ahead.

Bought the meal plan with an upgraded icee package. Not cheap. This is the icee cup they gave me. Hurricane Harbor, change your cup size and lid policy for drink plans and I'd be happy to revise my review. SMH.

We had such a great time here with the kids! The water park was so much fun, and the kids didn't want to leave. We rented a cabana, and it was definitely a great idea, especially during the summer. It gave us a comfortable place to relax and take breaks between all the fun. I highly recommend bringing your kids here before they go back to school it's the perfect way to end summer break!

Fun water park! Lots to do for all ages. Not enough chairs and shaded areas. Need more staff taking orders at the dining windows. The wave pool is super fun as well as the lazy river and tube rides.

Security guard accuse me of stealing a bag. I believe he profile me because of my skin color. I was unaware of the situation but kept insisting it was me. After reviewing cámaras it was determined it wasn't me. This all happen in front on my children and they got scared. I was trying to plead my story but he kept pushing it like I was a criminal. Two other security guard were just as rude. They only gave me a name but not a last name. Yet they took my driver license and took a picture of it. At the end I was escorted out of the park and were threatened if I came back, I was gonna be arrested for trespassing.

Went a few weekends with the family! Had an awesome day. Wait time wasn't terrible, there were lots of cool people. Plenty food options. Can't wait for an adults only night Had so much fun my wig went flying and I don't regret a thing

Wow! Our first time to Hurricane Harbor and it was awesome!! The kids loved it! Management did a fantastic job refreshing the park and improving the bathrooms. Kuddos! They got new chairs but as usual very difficult to snag and you must get there early to get seating. There are no tubes for the lazy river or wave pool unless you rent one. We went with our littles so did not go on any of the rides. Definitely bring snacks as the food lines were very long and I avoided them as much as I could!

Took the family here for the first time and they had a great time. My kids loved the Pirate Cove area as well as the Big Splash area. My teenagers enjoyed the wave pool and all the different water slides. I like the fact they even have a swimming pool. The only bad thing in my experience I had was with the lazy river and there being a lot of bees and leaves floating around in it, but other than that it was pretty cool. I like how they have all the different entrances and exits throughout the lazy river. My kids were using it as a shortcut to go to water slides. My kids would swim through the lazy river exit, get on a water slide and then when they were done they would hop back in and swim and go to another water slide. I like the different food options and they were pretty good food couldn't complain about it. just wish there was more refill stations. they all tend to be on one side of the park with the food area wish things have one more closer to the swimming pool. I personally like this one better than Knott's Soak City.

Ask the Community - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

What time does hurricane harbor close today?

    7pm throughout the summer.

    What are the times?

    10:30am to 7:00pm

    What are your business hours?

    10:30am-7pm daily

Can you wear goggles on the thrill rides?

    Depends on the wave pool.

How do you get a ticket for this place? Tried looking online and it seems like the only way you can get in now is with a season pass to Six Flags.

Online or in person I recommend online

Do they allow food from home?

    Idk

    How much are the cabanas?

The price varies. Check their website and select the day you plan on visiting the park to get an exact price.

Can you take you own food?

No, you can't take your own food.

Are there cabanas to rent here?

    Yes, there is.

Are you open this weekday regular hour?

Yes, they usually open at 10:30-7pm

Ima boy can i wear a plain t shirt or a men's tank top and still get in the water and on water rides?

Why yes they do! The venue is called Pirate's Pub.

So no outside food?, sorry was born yesterday ...

No outside food. They did allow two water bottles to be taken inside the park. ( not sure if having little kids influenced that)

Does anyone know if there is a processing fee if I were to purchase tickets at the gate?

No, what ever ticket price that's what you pay. but if you buy E-tickets online you are more likely to save a buck $$.

I went on Sunday, the slides r about 45m-1hr wait. To me that's very long but it was Sunday

The check-in process is always quick and organized, and every staff member we've interacted with has been friendly, patient, and helpful. The first time we visited, we bought the two-hour passes, but we quickly realized that wasn't nearly enough time. There are so many different obstacles to explore, and the kids never want to leave. Since then, we've always gone with the all-day passes, they're definitely worth it because you can take breaks and still enjoy everything the park has to offer. Such a fun place for families, and we always leave with great memories. We'll definitely be back again!

But that was 100% my own fault so flash forward to today when we went again and brought a bunch a friends with their kids. I called yesterday bc I noticed 18 month olds Fridays with sand buckets and shovels with their mother or father right next to them right next to the waterline being told to move and that they couldn't touch the water at all so I thought to myself, I better call because I can barely walk after Friday's adventure so I figured I would ask (before inviting a bunch of people) if I would be able to dunk in the water when I got really hot and come right back out obviously no swimming that is the main rule or even just sit in an inch of water and I was reassured that that would be fine however, there was no swimming, which is totally understandable. The first hour we were there another mother and I sat in about an inch of water, not floating, not swimming. The back of our legs were basically covered in water as we set up. One of the sweet lifeguards even stepped over us a couple times and was like oh sorry ladies. Hope you're having a good day. Very nice kid. Then the people to the left of us decided to put beach chairs in the water like up to their chest, not like a stick your feet in situation. A different lifeguard then came up and told my friend and I had to move and did not say one word to the people in the chairs fully in the water. Also mind you there are kids swimming where you are not supposed to be swimming and the lifeguards are fully seeing it. And it was like there just getting from point a to be like they are fully swimming floating There are other people getting in and out fully in and out multiple times floating around and lifeguards do not say a word. One of them even had an inflatable doughnut and was just right in the middle of the area you're not supposed to be in for a good 30 minutes. No one said a word. My problem with this is, if you're going to have a rule make it apply to everybody or even better yet staff more lifeguards because I know they can definitely afford it with the prices they charge so that people that are unable to do The obstacle course don't die of heat stroke. Even multiple lifeguards said this was their biggest issue this summer and they even agreed with people being able to go into the water, especially when it's that hot out so even they know that rule is not a good one. And the saddest part of this is someone's two year-old managed to swim out to the obstacle course almost drowning, right in front of the lifeguards. At first, I thought Will maybe they were too busy telling people they couldn't put their feet in to notice that a kid was about to drowned but then I looked to my left, and they were all standing on the lifeguard tower with a straight eye line to this poor little kid. Thank goodness, there was an adult nearby that saw and was able to jump in. This place could be really cool if you were able to enjoy the water along with the obstacle course. There is also a swimming area, but it is not near the obstacle course so you would need to choose between your kid having an amazing time and you dying a slow death on the beach or just going to the swimming part no course. Also the beach is literally covered in trash , the amount of trash I picked out of the water and off the beach was absolutely horrific. It was the same Friday.

They host multiple events, especially during the summer. Like movies at the pool, which is fantastic here; a 4th of July drone show; and the very disappointing FIFA fan zone that was held here. (That's a separate review.) But over all the aquatic center is a fun and great day to spend a pool day with the kids. There's plenty of parking, and they do charge a couple bucks to get in; however, on most events it tends to be free to enter. The obstacle course and water activities make it really fun, and the shaded lounge areas are perfect if you want to relax out of the sun.
