40 years of dealing with mechanics/shops & this was by far the WORST experience. Brought my truck in to have them do a lot of restoration work that they said they were capable of doing. Was told it would be a few weeks which, after adding more work to the list, became a month or so. 3 months later they finally started the work. Tore the motor apart, paid them $5k to have it rebuilt & reinstalled, along with the transmission & transfer case. 3 more months went by & no progress made. Then he got evicted from his shop - told me give him time, once they got settled into their new place he would make me a priority. 7 months later, still no progress made. Chris Burke, the owner, might be a decent mechanic, but he is a horrible business owner. There is no "first in/first out", he works on jobs when he feels like it & will take new work in despite the fact that he can't keep up. There were numerous other vehicles there that had been in his shop or parking lot for months. Not uncommon to see 10-12 trucks stacked up awaiting work yet it was just him & Christian (good kid, good mechanic) working on them. It also doesn't help that Chris is ALWAYS running the streets - 9 out of every 10 visits I made to the shop he was not there. He makes lots of vague promises but missed every single deadline I proposed, with absolutely zero apologies - just excuses. All the while acting like he's the one doing you the favor. He will lie to you about what his plans are. I have never seen someone treat customers with so much apathy & disregard. Over 14 months & I never received but 1 phone call from him (asking for money). Had to go to his shop weekly in person to see what was up because, even after asking them to call me (& them saying they would) they never did. When I asked him about this, he stated point blank "I don't have time to call my customers." After 15 months I finally gave up & had the vehicle moved to another shop. After moving it I found out that they had not completed work they said they had, the truck was missing bolts on the newly installed suspension, the front brakes were just zip tied to the axles & they had lost numerous brackets, bolt & engine parts that I had to go out & source to replace. I have over a years worth of notes that I kept with my interactions with FF, so I could go on, this barely scratches the surface. New shop did more work in 3 days (motor, trans, transfer case all back in) than Full Force did in a year. I'm the fool who kept giving them a chance & wasted so much time & money - so don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid this place like the plague. As of writing this review, FF is once again locked out of their shop & closed down. If they ever relocate & reopen - beware. read more

I had work done on my truck about a year ago from Full Force. Just don't want anyone else to have to deal with BS for cutting corners. Glad I'm DIY mechanic. * one of my bolts and lock washers fell off of my mount causing my drivers side bar to be lose. I replaced so not much of a big deal. Cost my a few dollars for a grade A bolt and lock washer *dual bolt set up for brackets ( supplied by rough country) were not installed per Rough Country's instructions. I bolt die set was used to bolt the brackets to my frame * someone from Facebook let me know my traction arms were instead wrong. Wtf! *after looking at pics from RC yes they were installed opposite of where they should be and upside down. * I have now installed them the right was but I still have to order the Hardware that Fullforce failed to use when I dropped my truck and kit off. How embarrassing is it to drive with your Z hit installed the wrong way. I take pride in my Truck. I know it was ONLY a $250ish job but it's still my truck. Since the bars were installed wrong that may have caused more pressure on the brackets which caused me to lose a bolt on one side ( then again all Hardware wasnt used) I used locktight to buy me some time until I can get the Hardware since it feels like the bolt will strip when i tried to torque them. Half a Zz work that I have to spend more money on and time to fix. I should have just done this BS myself from the getgo! read more

Can't say much about the business or the the owners. I did not do business with them. I did call for estimate and shop was supposed to reach back out to me. Called several times and left my contact info but after several weeks nothing. So I called around to another shop and got what I needed done. Perhaps this shop was too busy or my job was not worth it. I don't know the answer. All I know is that the communication and responsiveness of the shop on my particular job was definitely subpar. They may do great work, but unfortunately I did not have the outcome I had hoped for. I had hoped I would find a shop that I could use for many years. read more

Customer service is lacking. I tried texting/calling for two days with maybe one reply. And the guy didn't want to price match, got upset because he said that was the cheapest he could go then never replied after I sent him a cheaper quote. This also happened in the past when I was rim shopping. Will never go to this place! read more

So I paid 16.5k for a complete overhaul on my vehicle and it broke down 100 meters from the shop. I later discovered that the gear replacement I was charged for was not completed after paying a additional $1200 at a real reputable shop who informed me the rear end was not touched. SO BECAUSE YOU CANNOT SEE WHAT YOUR PAYING FOR THESE GUYS CHARGED ME AND DID NOTHING. Horrible experience. read more

I purchased my truck with a 6'' lift that was poorly installed, I met Chris the owner of full Force off road at Bucee's when he was driving his 8-10'' lifted Dodge 3500 Dually. I ask him who installed his lift, he said he owns a shop and gave me his business card. I mentioned that in the future I would like to fix my truck and would visit his shop. Seven months later, I took my truck to his shop and dropped off my truck around December 15, & it took him 3 months before I could get my truck out of his shop because the parts were order on the last week of December instead of the same week I drop it off. I gave 5,800 dollars upfront so he can start ordering parts & the parts were not order till the last week of December. I understand that a lot of parts are on back order but the sooner you order the faster the parts get here. I called the office numerous times and the receptionist was friendly at first, when I ask about up dates on my truck they said that they will call me back cause the mechanic was busy working on other vehicles, I was told that parts were still on order. I was given several dates of anticipated completion and when I would call to check up on my truck (due to the fact that I live 150 miles from the shop One-Way), the receptionist wouldn't pass me on to Chris, wouldn't return my phone calls and was also rude at times, plus was also charging me a balance owed (over the phone) that was supposed to be paid until I picked up my truck. To make long story short I called bunch of times and no answer, also the truck is taller than what I wanted it, not all parts that were quoted were installed such as bracket mounts, they had to raise the back of the truck to level it out cause the coilovers that were ordered were taller than the lift kit it had installed. I told Chris before dropping off my truck that I wanted all parts taken off my truck returned of which I only received the springs. In other words, due to lack of professionalism & rude staff I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Overall the service, the pricing, and experience were phenomenal! I got quotes from all over town and they were easily priced the fairest and were straight up about cost and labor from the begginning. When I took my truck in, I asked for some last minute modifications and still needed it finished within the time quoted originally. They were more than happy to accommodate and even stayed late to finish up my truck in time, explained all the processes and what to expect driving what felt like a brand new truck! I cannot day enough good things about my experience and highly recommend them! read more

I can't say enough about Chris and Liz. We had an "oops" with my beloved Rubi (2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Edition). What should have been an easy at-home alteration turned out needing eight hours of professional (hard) labor. Full Force was definitely the right choice. Chris appropriately disassembled her, took the necessary time, and fixed her up better than she was before. Rubi not only looks amazing, but is now structurally more sound than before. I love my Jeep and trust very few around/with her. We will be going back soon for our bigger "don't do this at home" upgrades. Thanks guys!! Oh and did I mention, Chris and Liz are Veteran friendly?! What a amazing place and the owner was even better. Chris walked me thru what I needed and didn't try to sell me more than I needed. In fact I wanted a more expensive lift because I had been told that was what I should get. His prices beat everyone else, than he started asking me questions about what I would be doing with my Jeep. He explained that the lift just under the one I asked for would give me everything I was needing and saved me 200.00. The work was completed early. Chris talked with me about the whole process and delivered on everything promised. I called all over south Texas to find a deal on my Jeep JK 3" lift. No one could touch Full Force Off Road prices. It will be Chris and his commitment to the customer that brings you back. Chris also supports our military active and non active, our first responders, and his customers. I've took in my Jeep JK for a lift, than I found out that he can do anything for your 4x4 or a truck used for just hauling. I am going to return with my wife's Dodge 2500 4x4 to have air suspension bags put on. This will help pulling the travel trailer. I won't call anyone else anymore for my 4x4 work. I am extremely satisfied with the work that Full Force did on my 2012 F-250. I have been toying with the idea of doing a whole delete/tuning/exhaust/intake job on my truck and have visited several shops around San Antonio looking for the right shop to go with. I ended up finding Full Force's shop on yelp and called earlier this week to get some details and prices. Spoke with Chris who so happened to be the owner and he was more then helpful with explaining details and quoted very affordable prices, even took the time to give me a test ride in his personal truck to give me an idea of the power difference and sound of what my truck would perform like and sound with the upgrades. Chris also took the time to take a look and diagnose my wife's SUV which has been giving us problems with the A/C and let us know he is more then able to repair. I am extremely picky with who I let work on my vehicles and Chris showed professionalism from the time we originally spoke over the phone to completing the job on my F-250. I definitely will continue to use Full Force for all my future custom work to my vehicles and regular repairs/service. I am actually scheduled to return with my F-250 next week for a train horn install. I'm sure Full Force will add another very satisfying job with that as well. read more

Was very disappointed - was trying to get repairs on my RCX lift kit - $350 later with some bolts tightened and had the same problem within a week. Was promised warranty parts, and a specific time because I needed to take the day off of work in order to bring the truck back for yet another full day in the shop. I called to check the parts status the week before and all was in place. Called the day prior and was told to call back to make sure parts were in. Called again and was told I would receive a call back in an hour. No calls ever returned, spent the day off wasted. Pretty disappointed to say the least, thought I found a good shop and just given the runaround and out $350. Still looking for a reputable place! read more
