This is my 3rd time coming up to that location and the black African guy has not done his job properly.. If someone is driving with Lyft or uber an they leave their car with you guys to get serviced and you tell them that you will give them a call when it's ready for pick up.. then they are expecting a call on soon as it gets done. So they can get back on the road to make their quota. I don't understand how can a car get done an nobody thinks to notify the driver immediately. I had to walk in myself and ask if it's ready.. very unprofessional. An if there was a different location that deals with Lyft/uber I'll take them .. read more

I was in need of tires and was thankful this place was between home and work so I could drop my car off and head to work and pick it up later. I made an appointment the day before. I had a pleasurable and professional experience and I will look into other services at this location in the future. This PAINS me to do this... I have been coming to this place for YEARS so I don't like this rating BUT let me start from the beginning!! This place is conveniently located in an area around places you can walk while they work on your car... there are places for you to eat and look around. Service: NORMALLY this place is A1 and u til today it has always been that way!! There is a guy who I usually deal with by the name of Corey if you go there. That guy is the BEST and he will make sure to get your service done.... The older gentleman that worked on my tire is always on top of things and I appreciate him. Anyway let's get to customer service. The service guy brought my car keys in so I get on the line to get my car and someone comes in after me. Mind you at the time he's dealing with a customer and the customer is deciding what he wants to do while we are all waiting and that's fine I get it BUT then he ask the man behind me if he could help him and leave me there THEN to add salt to the injury goes BACK to the first guy he was talking to like I'm not even standing there. Then after he speaks to him he starts answering phone calls and after dealing with phone CALLS he comes back and ask me if he can help me. I proceed to tell him ... excuse me but my keys are right there. I didn't say anything. Just got my keys and left. I was soooo upset and shocked I just left. So I will say this place is awesome just beware because I think he's is new. I had never seen him before VUT the guys who have been there for years are the BEST which is why I gave 3 stars if not for this incident I would have given 5 all the way!! read more

I was in town last night from Austin, and knew I needed an oil change, so I started looking at nearby options for an appointment this morning, and I was able - at 11:30pm - to book a 9:30am oil change online. I dropped the car off and went with a friend to an appointment, and the car was ready to go when I got back. Luckily, that worked for me because they were a little backed up already, so it wouldn't have been ready in the hour the website promised. Other than that, the staff was very friendly, and the car was clean when I got it back. While they did recommend some other things that they felt needed work on, they weren't pushy about it - which is so refreshing nowadays. The online discount was great, too. I have to come down to San Antonio every month for work, so I may just continue using them when I come down instead of getting it done locally in Austin. read more

I'm never one to write reviews for anything but I feel like this is bit different. I had scheduled a tire install at 3pm at Goodyear Bandera and everything was smooth till I realized I had already waited an hour and my car hadn't moved from the parking spot. I understand heavy workloads and everything I literally work at a tire shop but if I set an appointment and had a scheduled time to get them put on, why am I waiting over 2 and 1/2 hours like I came up here as a walk in. Not to mention I could've done a job like this within 30 minutes to an hour at most. read more

Zero stars if I could. Went in for an appointment for 3:30Pm & the confirmation email said pick up at 4:30PM. Cool only an hour wait. I decided to just wait there. I went in at 3 just to get there early in case traffic or Anything. I left at 6:40PM with nothing done to my car. Went in for a diagnostic cause all my dash lights were on. I was just waiting & waiting really wish they would've updated me on how they were behind or mentioned they were busier than usual. I had to ask how much longer & one of the male workers caught an attitude & just seemed to try to act cool in front of another male he was talking to. I totally get it, they got behind & needed to catch up. He told me "as you can see it's full we're waiting for an opening" As I was about to ask another question he turned his back & said "yours is up next" That was at 5:50. I'm still waiting & 6:35 rolls around, still waiting. Mind you they close at 7. I go check to see if there were any openings & to see if they had finally pulled my car up. NOTHING. There were 2-3 openings & workers just standing. I firmly asked for my car key back cause my car wasn't up there yet. Really wish there was better communication between workers & their customers. read more

This place is garbage. The people that work there have attitudes and pretty much seems to me that they don't give a shit. Oh, and they don't do inspections when it's wet outside....ok. Twice I've been here and same result, trash. read more

Letter I wrote to Goodyear Corporate: I just wanted to share my thoughts on the great customer service that I received at your San Antonio location (8011 Bandera Rd.) this March 16th. This was my first experience at the store and I was impressed with the kindness and honesty of your employees especially Cory (spelling?). Every time oil change time comes around, I dread taking my car to a shop because I am afraid of being overcharged and/or cheated. Cory was a very nice and patient with all of my questions. When we came to the store after closing time on a Friday night to pick the car back up, all of the employees were ready to get off work and start the weekend, but they were still friendly and patient. And best of all, no on tried to overcharge or cheat us with fees. Great store with honest people. I will take my car here again in another 3k miles! read more

Came in to the Goodyear in a hurry to get my wheels balanced. Went other places and everyone had way too long lines and still needed about 1-2 hrs...for a balance! That's way too long on a weekday during the day to wait. These guys informed me that my rim was bent. They could have balanced it, let me roll on and something happened, but they informed and let me take it back to dealership for warranty work. Nice guys and honest! I woke up my first night in San Antonio with a flat tire. I called my roadside assistance, after they put the boot on, i took my car to another tire store up the road. they told me that i would have an hour wait and i could not leave and come back. I went to get breakfast, and went here. they repaired my tire in 10 mins and it only cost me $4.33 for a valve stem. the customer service was not bad but you could tell that the place is a busy store. It was just barely friendly and there was at least 6 people in the waiting area. So, I totally understand. read more

I saw a nail in my tire on a Saturday evening. Everything was closed. I called this location Sunday morning and spoke to Andy. He told me to come right on in. I did and Andy looked at my tire. He helped me right there in the parking lot. He pulled the nail out to find out the nail never even pierced my tire. It was bent in the grove of my tire. He showed me for my peace of mind. Then he sprayed soapy water on the tire to see if any would go into a possible hole. It didn't. No hole and no charge. Andy was professional and honest. There aren't a lot of people who would just help someone for free. I will be back as a paying customer for sure. read more

Every time I visit this location I receive excellent service! Javier Calvo, the team leader and store manager, is always friendly and upbeat. Staff always completes the task before the estimated time given. On top of that, Midas tried to charge me $81.00 for a task that Goodyear only charged $52.00 for plus military discount which knocked it down to $42.00. Needless to say, I'm a very happy camper with this location and its staff. Way to go Goodyear! read more

I have been going to this location for about two years for my oil changes, They had always done a good job until now. I saw one of the guys lean over the left fender of my truck without a protective mat in an effort to pour oil my engine. I didn't think much of it at that moment, but when I got home I saw 2 long patterns of vertical scratches consistent with the action of someone leaning over the fender and rubbing against it. I am not happy. My question is, how difficult is it to place a protective mat over the fender? This was just laziness. If you have a truck, do not go to these guys unless you want to risk having scratches on your fender. read more
