I discovered this place a couple years ago and ever since it has been my absolute favorite place to shop. It's where I go to get away. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The ever changing store displays are so creative and make the shopping experience a pleasure. The dollar and discount racks outside are my favorite. I'm so excited I found Full Circle Thrift Store today, sorry it wasn't sooner. I love to upcycle and recycle things so thrift stores are one of my joys. And this thrift store is a one of a kind. The whole place was full of great things at great prices. Some thrift stores feel like a pile of someone's else's junk, but this place felt cared for, like we were buying beloved treasures. I found a little of something for everyone, including a replacement velvet quilted bed covering that I've been seeking for over a year. Felt like a miracle. Really. Alma and other staff were kind and helpful. There's plenty of free parking. And next Saturday is Steam Punk Day... don't know what that means.. but I love steampunk!! The space is huge for an altadena business and I've have found so many thrift finds here! The prices are so low compared to the goodwills and other thrift stores through Pasadena and LA that have over time racked up the prices on their items. I've always been able to find a cute jacket/dress/pair of shoes here. I like how you can sign up to earn points to ultimately get money off your purchase in the future. I adore Full Circle! It's very well organized, and I love that a lot of the old interior has been kept, as the building used to be a substation for Huntington's Pacific Electric Railway Company, and was built in 1906. It's cool that Altadena's history is being preserved while providing a service to the community. I have found good items there, that I will wear for years. read more

I came to Full Circle Thrift in a pinch, looking for last minute additions to my wastelander outfit for Wasteland Weekend. Lo and behold, I found everything I could have needed (and more!) for less than $20 - an odd knee pad, an old leather jacket, a soft brown scarf, some worn leather boots, chains, and some various metal doodads. This store is well organized and the prices are very reasonable. They section out the sale items to the regular priced items. The red tags are about $1. I love the vintage looking parts of the store. From the doors, to the sinks and dressing rooms. The place has an area where you can sit and read books. The store doesn't have that old smell either. There's an upstairs as well where they have kids clothing and kitchenware. They also have stuff outside which is nice when it's beautiful outside. What a nice and well-organized thrift store! Everything is carefully and thoughtfully arranged, and the overall feeling inside is much cleaner and nicer than other thrift shops I've been to. It felt more like a "vintage store" that would use this as justification to charge excessive prices for antiques, but the prices were definitely in the thrift category. All items have a colored tag and each week different colors are on sale for 50-75% off. There are also other discounts available for things like posted on social media, and they have a loyalty program that gives you a $5 credit for every $50 you spend. Be sure to look upstairs! When I first came in looking for kitchen items I thought there weren't many, but there are a lot more items on the shelves on the 2nd floor. I also heard some birds chirping from the eaves which just added to the charm of the place. Service was friendly and the experience was great overall. Offers discounts to the social media users (promoters) 5. Has a rewards program The sales associate mentioned they are "short handed" and therefor edo not have as much stuff out as they wished but that they're expecting to fill up with a lot more clothes and items. Full Circle Thrift is a newcomer to Altadena located at 2245 Lake Ave inside a super cool historic railway building. Once inside you are treated to the most neatly organised and beautifully displayed thrift store around. It's two stories tall and it is subdivided in sections from housewares, clothing, decorative items, jewellery, accessories and the cutest children's area. You feel as if you've walked into a hip boutique with one of a kind items. The manager Paul and his great staff along with volunteers from the community make you feel welcome and gladly direct you to what you are in search of. I brought a carload of items for donation and it's the only way I will give myself permission to come by and peruse all the neat items I can't live without, and there are many. So, treat yourself by cleaning out your closet and replacing those items with some you never knew you needed!! read more

This is one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to, they got a great selection of clothes and belts and little knick knack items at reasonable prices. On top of that, they give great customer service, all the ladies are very nice and their bathroom and changing room is clean and nice, spacious as well. This is definitely the cleanest thrift store I've ever been in. Feels more like a personal collection or gallery. The building is historic and clearly the best part about the place. First floor when you walk in is all women's, though they have a small rack of men's clothing in the back. Another very cute separate room for books/CDs/vinyl records/media is also on the ground floor. I didn't end up buying anything, but all the blazers I tried on were in great shape and smelled fresh, so you can tell that they care. Upstairs is home goods, which had decent selection, but not as cute or organized as the first floor. Great store, I'll be back in a few weeks to see if they have anything new. read more

First time here. I'm a dedicated thrifter. We were visiting a friend who right away told us this was the best in town. No disappointment! Amazing selection: clothing for everyone, kitchen stuff, books, vinyl. Everything not only organized but beautifully presented. Pricing seemed not only fair, but downright generous. Nice dresses and purses were a bit more, but everything else extremely reasonable. Found great Halloween costumes, and the staff was very friendly. They have a free membership that allows you to earn towards credit, so I'm already planning when I might drive across town to shop here again. Worth it! read more
