Food was good and it was close to my house . You get a lot for what you pay for service seems to be great. They try their hardest to get it out as fast as I can and give you the most on sandwiches. Kudos to the team. read more

I live a bit out of town and stopped in for the first time. I got an Italian Sub. It was stacked with plenty of meat, cheese, and garnishes. I got it the way they recommend it, and it was really good. The bread was also great. Overall excellent sandwich! Staff is friendly and the wait was not long. Classic Italian sandwich is huge and packed with meats and cheese. Great whole wheat bread. Was two meals in one sandwich. Definitely headed back for another. April, 28 2025 under the new management. The 6 inch sub actually measures 7.5 inches and was packed full of Smokey ham. Thick sliced Swiss and I ordered all the fixins except for sprouts. Everything for Yelp rage-bait was experienced but, in this case, transcendent food absolves all sins. The order of a 12" Philly cheesesteak, no green peppers (foreshadowing) was made incorrectly: the subsequent remake was also made incorrectly. The remedy for the error on remake was to pick cheese entwined green peppers off by hand as I watched (unnoticed). Was I wrong to quip upon receiving the order "if I'm allergic to green peppers am I gonna die?" Yes, this was wrong as my joke registered as abject terror on the young woman's face. She perceived the comment as a sincere medical disclosure instead of my dysfunctional way of telling her "I saw the peppers get picked off." She must still be wondering what I was thinking when I took what she assumed was a foil wrapped death sentence and said "I'm sure I'll be fine. It's a good way to go" and walked out. I clumsily ate in the car instead of the inviting patio as I had planned. My morbid comment seemed to require I depart dramatically. One bite and a choral mass of deliciousness rolled through me. This "Philly cheesesteak" is definitely *not* a Philly cheesesteak - it is something far better. It's a unique take on a cheesesteak and deserves it's own local boasting name. The meat has complex flavors - something cousin to smoked brisket but better. There are sharp and even slightly tangy flavors in the meat from who knows what, but the effect is culinary sorcery that casts a "consumptious avidious" spell on your mouth. My sandwich disappeared and a happenstance stop in next-to-nowhere Montana became a mythical lunch sitting prominently atop a lifetime of mostly forgettable meals. read more

The restaurant has a few booths and a patio area plus a deli with a few meats but the beef sticks for a dollar are great I'll be stopping on my way thru to get more. Just left a few mins ago visiting from Connecticut and loved it! We ordered 2 soups of the day, the Philly cheesesteak, a ham sub and homemade polish dog. My friend loved the Philly and said it had a nice smoky flavor. My ham was good with a pretty generous portion. Soup we didn't plan to get, but glad we did because I can still taste that rich broccoli and cheddar goodness. I really wrote this review and came back to get another polish dog. I added onions, relish, jalapeños with yellow mustard..and WOW..You can't beat it, good food, good prices and good people, so come early before the lines. read more

Love going to this deli EVERYTIME we come through Townsend but this time we found out that their workers do NOT wear masks during a pandemic, they state that they do strenuous work so they won't wear them. I say I don't know anybody including myself who has EVER passed out from making a sandwich or a pizza in my life. I think that they should take a serious look at what's important. Just spent the weekend in Townsend, was not looking to be impressed with food in this little town. Boy was I wrong! Great food with a vast menu of things to choose from. Offering the usual sandwiches, but also beef jerky, beef sticks, specialty cheeses, amazing pizza and more. Definitely want to check them out if in the area. Great helpings of meat, nice soft fluffy bread, and the veggies were quite fresh. The space could use some more character, a remodel or a deep clean but that's part of what makes it unique.
