Tantan ramen
Daisy T.

Cold. Hungry. Wet. Our bodies needed hot soup during the down pour of rain and we came to the right place! It was packed when we got here. But the guy told us to join the waiting list and it should be a short 5 min wait. Happy! We sat down and quickly ordered two Tantan ramen. It was just my daughter and I. The hot broth and level of spiciness hit the spot on this cold day! It came with a free order of extra noodles or rice, so we both opted for noodles. The cha sui was savory and yummy! The broth rich and delicious! The noodles cooked al dente, just how I like them with a little bite! Satisfied our cravings and warmed our bones! Service was fast and efficient!

I ordered my ramen through door dash. It was not that great. I also ordered the chicken karaage and it wasn't bad. I don't know if I would go order the ramen again though.

Brought my mom for a birthday dinner after a spa day and the ramen did not disappoint! Service, food and prices were 10/10. We got there right before the dinner rush so we only had to wait 10-15 min for a table. Will definitely be visiting again!

Spectacular, really delicious meal! We got a few different ramens, all of them were beautifully plated and came standard with rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles and all the extras. The standout was the soupless ramen. Honestly never had it before because I figured, what's the point? Right?... wrong. It was easily my favorite and it's a great option for those sactown summers when you want ramen but aren't trying to sweat over a hot bowl of soup. Definitely worth the try. Also shoutout to our server Ben! He was awesome and gave us the best service! Food: 4.5 Service: 4.8 Ambiance: 4 Marcels foodie score: 4.43

My friends and I came here for lunch on a Sunday. There was a wait. It was our first time so we did not know the procedure. We walked in and there was no host in the front. No one greeted us. We stood there for a couple of minutes then I noticed there was a tiny sign saying to put your name on the waitlist. It would be helpful if the sign is bigger. Our table was ready around 20 minutes which wasn't too bad. We were seated and given the menus. They were busy so it took them some time to come over to take our order. After we placed our orders with our server, he asked if we want water and we said yes. The ramen came but the water never did. We had to ask for water again. I got the Fukumi Ramen. The meat was super tender and busting with flavors. The egg was perfectly cooked. Broth was seasoned well but a bit salty. The restaurant is on the smaller side and a bit cramped when busy.

SPECTACULAR GIVE ME 14 OF THEM NOW! Fukumi has been on my list for a while and finally I got to check them out. After this experience I can admit that I've been missing out on some quality ramen. I went here recently with my partner, no reservations but the wait was not long, about 10min during the lunch hour. The room was packed! Once we were seated it wasn't long until we put in our order. Our server was chill and to the point. I ordered the Tori Miso Ramen. I ordered this because it sounded good but tbh I was really digging the visual aspect of the menu, although animated, its clear image tells me everything I need to know! This ramen was fantastic! Light and refreshing. The abundance of noodz accompanied with some thicc pork chashu, seasoned egg, sprouts and possibly the greatest fruit to ever do it... CORN. There's so much to say about corn but this is not a corn review, this is a ramen review. There's no question that I will be back, there's much to choose from including their apps. and quality beer menu. If you're looking for great ramen, Fukumi is a must try!

Went back for our 2nd visit The Mayo Chicken Bowl and Gyoza did not disappoint. Both cooked to perfection. The service was great. So glad we decided to give this place another try. Will definitely be coming back.

I came in a couple days ago after work and it was cold and I wanted something hot and delicious to wam me up. I honestly came based on the great reviews and wanted to also check Fukumi Ramen out. I ended up ordering the $22 Fukumi ramen. Which includes extra pork, egg and seaweed. You can get a double order of noodles or a side rice for free. I opted for extra noodles. I don't think I got the extra noodles because I didn't have much noodles in my broth. I also ordered a Peach J pop Japanese beer. The service was great and the waiter as friendly. I'm on the fence if I would try them again. There slate so many wonderful Ramen spots in Sacramento.

Ordered online for pickup and got a text once it was ready! Everything was ready right on time. Soup and fixings were packaged separately. 3.5/5 Fukumi ramen w/garlic oil 5/5 TanTan ramen - delicious noodles and flavor Would def get the tantan again!

We came here with my visiting parents. It seems this chain is quite popular. I see it is probably due to their 72 hour broth. We waited about 30 minutes since they only have 10 tables. This was the former Dickey's bbq spot that was pretty crappy. Our waiter gave great service. 3 of us got the Fukumi ramen and 2 got the miso ramen. They all come with extra noodles (albeit already included in the higher pricing for ramen than average). The broth I must say, was one of the richest tasting ramen broth I ever tasted!!! Amazing! The noodles had a great al dente chew. The egg was perfect and soft. Only complaint is the size of the bowl was smaller than most other ramen places. I would definitely come here than Koshi. Our go to is Ryujin in downtown. But even with the small size of the bowls the quality is great. So being 1-2 miles from our house, we are glad to have this new addition and a solid ramen spot without driving far.

Waited a little bit before trying this new ramen spot, as to avoid any kinks when a new business opens. We were seated right away, energy was inviting, and comforting on this cold day. I didn't notice anything "out of the ordinary" on their menu that I haven't seen at other ramen spots so I gravitated towards the familiar: 1. garlic butter edamame: can't go wrong. taste like the one at Pier 50 (which I understand is under same ownership) 2. Garlic chicken karaage: juicy chunks, cooked in well. 3. Salad: dressing was an unimpressive citrus with bagged salad. pass on this next time. 4. Tan Tan Ramen: this is the creamiest ramen i've ever had...and not a bad creamy. The flavor was rich and with the free order of noodles it was enough for 2 to share. Will go back when the ramen craving strikes!

I'm so happy we have this ramen place close to home. Went here with brother and sister on a cold day and we got chicken kara age for appetizer and that was so good. For myself and first time trying this place, got the Fukumi Ramen. We all got extra order of noodles which is free when you dine in. We always find not enough noodles for the rich broth. Yes, the broth was so rich. Enjoyed the bowl of goodness though. The service was very efficient and appreciated. The space is small. It was the old Dickey's BBQ. It was clean. Will try the lighter broth of chicken I assume. We will see and give an update. Thank you.

We came here on a cold raining day perfect for ramen. There was about a 15min wait sine it was a perfect day for hot steaming bowl of noodles. The front of the resturant had a cool looking board that changes the writing on the board probably every 5 min. That's was pretty cool to keep watching. The food came out pretty quick considering how packed it was. The ramen dish we order was delicious with the right amount of flavor. The warm broth tasted really good. There was a right around a amount of noodles and the noodles was a great picture. It was kinda chewy but not too soft. Would love to come back for ramen here.

I got the black ramen garlic which came with the usual toppings: roasted pork chashu , corn, green onions, bean sprouts, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and actual fried garlic. I will 100/100 always order this ramen. Very flavorful broth. My husband got the chicken ramen, which I tasted, and it too had a flavorful broth. You choose your spicy level. I got medium which was basically mild. The portion and price make this a great deal for a quick dinner in Midtown. I love the late hours and the speed of which our food came out. We ordered the geso (fried squid) and the veggie tempura. I do not recommend the tempura. The batter was thick like carnival onion rings. They need to use panko for breading. The geso was ok, and served with an aioli sauce. Stick with the ramen. No need to waste stomach space on their appetizers. The right half of the restaurant is for Ramen 101, and the other side is for Orchid Thai. You order at the counter and get a number, find a seat. The servers came around and checked on us and helped us with any requests. The nice ambiance from the Thai side carried over to the Ramen side, but both casual.
