Ordered hibachi shrimp to go. The place kind of gives 90s mall food court vibes. You can smell the cooking oils and not much else when inside. On the drive home, the smell as a bit off. The food was mid. Not good or bad. For what it is, it's okay. I doubt I'll get takeout from here again. read more

Honestly we went here because it was recommended a bunch from others. The cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful however the sushi is very lackluster. First the rolls are cut into six which makes the pieces gigantic. We ended up cutting each piece into two for a much more manageable bite. We ordered the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, tuna, two shrimp tempura rolls, and a special roll. The spicy rolls were very bland. They had almost no flavor and a ton of "crunchies" in them as filler. You couldn't taste the salmon or tuna at all. All of the rolls were lacking a good rice to fish ratio. It just wasn't a great experience. I won't back here for sushi. read more

Usually, smaller rolls are 9.99 a piece in the area and these were 14.95 each Dragon Roll- okay roll but better out of the two Angel Hair Roll- it wasn't that great as not much shrimp is inside unless it's the ends Well, it wasn't bad food, it wasn't great food. We chose to order from here as a second try. The first was a year ago and we thought maybe it was just an off day. Tonight I threw out $50 worth of food. Literally, tried ev thing and not one thing didn't get thrown out. I ordered online (shown in photo) and tried two of their speciality rolls and two standard rolls. An order of chicken fried rice and spring rolls. The sushi was HORRIBLE. The sushi rolls were falling apart and completely mushy. They all tasted the same. Gross and "Off". (Sushi lovers know what I mean...when it's wrong it wrong but when it's nasty you hate that you ate it. ) The chicken fried was so over cooked that the chicken was the texture of "jerky". Our dog got all the chicken. The rice had hard pieces. So it clearly wasn't made recently. It was like they threw some old cooked rice and chicken in a wok for a minute. The service was fine. Young girl. No one else greeted me as I walked in. The order was correctly bagged up. The place looks cute but I will never be going back. My husband and I both feel sick and hungry at the same time. I love their Sweet Potato Roll, I always add cream cheese and it's amazing! It's always hot/warm and tastes fresh. I'm not a fan of the fried rice or noodles because I don't like the mushrooms they use in it, it makes the whole dish taste like mushrooms but that's just my dislike of the mushrooms. They offer a large selection of sushi that is always fresh and decently priced. my favorite is the Sweetheart roll but you can never go wrong with your Japanese noodles. We really enjoy this place. They are nice clean place to grab a quick bite. It really is geared for take out but they do have some seating. This isn't a "traditional" hibachi or teppanyaki where u sit in front of a chef giving u a flaming show with spinning eggs and flying shrimp. I've been to Fuji Hibachi Express 5 times in the past two weeks and can easily say it's worth every penny. I've gone for both dinner and take out for lunch, and every time I've ordered I have not been disappointed. For lunch they have a $7.25 special that's great. You get a hibachi meal with fried rice, vegetables, and a meat of your choosing. I've gotten both shrimp and steak (medium rare) and have not been disappointed. For dinner I've had a multitude of sushi rolls and they're all great. They're appetizers are also done very well. The rock shrimp and fried shrimp are fantastic Overall this place is great. The ambiance and decor is beautiful. Lunch and dinner prices are fantastic. It's definitely the best Japanese restaurant here in Spring Hill. read more

This is a great place to see a cool show while they cook your food. The chef's are funny and talented. The only part I didn't care for was the amount of grease on the floors, I wore sandals and nearly fell because I slipped. You must walk very slow in order to stay on your feet. If your body runs hot, I wouldn't recommend sitting at the grill. I had to stay back because of the heat. The food was delicious though! It's a little costly, but I believe its worth it. read more

Not japanese owned. Food quality is poor. Hibachi fried rice is only overloaded with hydrogenated oils. Check out the margarine they use. It mad eme sick and has weird taste. Too pricey for simple cheap Chinese owned joint. I am always on point with Japanese food. Hibachi room is over heating, too hot and stuffy and not enough vent. Never again. Food quality is absolutely nothing to be praised. I called it as I see it. For the price they charge, they should serve better quality food and upgrade the place. Dingy, if you ask me. Fast, Fresh and Delicious Japanese food! The smells alone will have you wandering in here...I was waiting in the plaza with my fiance for a friend and we couldn't resist the temptation. We order some miso soup and yakisoba noodles with beef to go. SUGOI! (amazing in Japanese). They must do some black magic on their food because the noodles were TOO good. This is our favorite go to take out location! The staff is always kind and their service is fast! The food is always amazing!
