Excellent dinner last night at Cracovia, but make sure to come hungry because the portions are big!…read more We enjoyed a starter of the pierogies which were excellent, and my wife and I shared a breaded pork cutlet which came with potatoes and red cabbage... everything was good, but the breaded pork cutlet was out of this world! Our friends enjoyed the mushroom soup, which was a very healthy serving, and they also shared the pork in a apricot sauce. They enjoyed both. Very good service and a very cool setting that was built by the actual owners. The beer was served nice and cold. I will definitely go back as the food is worthy of five stars.

Just wow! You enter a Polish castle on the banks of US19! Service was impeccable. The menu is…read morefilled with scratch-made Polish dishes. The vibe is just from another time and another place! Delicious and hearty breads to start- pierogi galore as our appetizer- huge and tender cabbage rolls- juicy and thick cuts of pork. We brought some of everything home with us, and we ended up with 2-3 meals from each plate! Head north on 19 to Springhill, and try this diamond in the rough! Dinner is pretty pricey- but the portion size on the entrees makes it worth the $$. PS-Are you not too sure about Polish food? Consider Cracovia for lunch with more affordable options or smaller portions offered- makes it an easier choice when you are being adventurous and try something new to you.

Spring Hill is quickly becoming another "home away from home" for me as my sister lives here now…read more Ergo, she knows whenever I come visit, we gotta hit up a restaurant to further give creedance to the status I was given here. Mexican food (of any kind) is one of my favs, but I must stress that over the years, many Mexican restaurants have been very good in general that a very good Mexican restaurant is now the new average. Mexican restaurants need to do little things here and there to stand out, thus earning the rare four out of five-star review. So did Plaza Mexico, the first Mexican restaurant I've eaten at here in Spring Hill, FL, stand out to be past the average? I can happily say yes, Plaza Mexico has the unique trait of standing out, thus earning a rare four-star review. Plaza Mexico (which I will shorthand simply to PM for the remainder of the review) is located on Forest Oaks Blvd., but not that far east from Commercial Way. The business is not hard to spot out as it utilizes the decor and color scheme often used for Mexican restaurants. I might even say such colors and decor may be American characterizations of Mexican culture, too. The aforementioned could be said about the interior, but I must stress, which was presented in a very good way. The lights were these beautifully blown glass orbs of multiple colors. The wall art was these paintings that had reliefs with lighting. Finally, the table furniture wasn't quite grandoise. I will say it: presentation goes a long way. The food was delicious, but just like the decor, it had a bit of flamboyance that made it look more appealing. As a family, we had the Nachos House Special, Three Amigos, Molcajete, and chimichanga. We did share bits and pieces from other's plates, but it was so delicious. The price of food is probably on the higher side of the norm, meaning high 20s to low 40s depending on what you get. However, as mentioned earlier, the food was very delicious, and it looked flamboyant, too. On a sidenote, the restrooms were clean and stocked, and my family and I showed up a little before lunhime, so maybe that is why there was a very short wait until we were seated and recieved service. Overall, I will give Plaza Mexico four out of five stars. I will definitely return and if they are consistent, it will be my honor to grant them their fifth star for cosnsistecy
