This place is great, and is a very welcome addition to the area! Came here on a Wednesday evening for a date night with my wife. It's fairly small but perfect for a date night: atmosphere is intimate, romantic and upscale, with service that matches. Our server was Joe, who was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. If you're coming for "dinner", be aware that this is a "small plates" place, so the menu items are smaller than dinner portions, but they are generous for "appetizers". We ordered 3 menu items which was enough for our dinner for two. The wine list is impressive, offering many options from France & Italy in addition to California. The menu is not extensive, but there is a wide enough variety so that almost everyone should be able to find something they like (which I cannot say for many restaurants around here that have much more extensive menus). We ordered the short rib sliders on homemade brioche, the Queen Scallops, and the daily special flatbread (with prosciutto, goat cheese, honey and peaches). Each item was fresh, generous, and delicious. We finished with the Panacotta and the Crème Brulee, both of which were excellent! The owner (Angelo) stopped by to introduce himself and check on how we're enjoying our experience. It was a nice touch. They also have live music starting at 5PM, and they offer a couple of wine club memberships that can pay off if you become a regular. After living in the Murrieta/Temecula area for 8 years, this has quickly become our favorite date night place. We will be back many times! read more

Faith, her business, and her staff are all so grounded and in love with what they do! This review is beyond customer service and food quality. It's about passion for the likes of work that they do. I have never been to a restaurant/bar that has not only great vibes but loving vibes. If you haven't been here before... you're missing out ! read more

This is a place better experienced than to talk about! There's just something special about the quaint wine bar. The food is delectable and the service top notch! We love it here! read more

This is our 3rd night in a row coming here and drinking Angelo's pinot noir. My husband and I love the ambiance and speakeasy vibe. It's nice to have a local wine bar we can visit and actually talk to the owners and feel like we are part of the family. Megan and Penny are so amazing! We love sitting at the bar and talking to them. read more

Recently visited and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wine selection Is extensive... super exciting!! Was particularly impressed by their Italian wines. From bold, full body reds like Barolo and Brunello to crisp and refreshing whites like Vermintino and Gavi, there is something for every palate. I love that a lot of these wines are served by the glass- that's hard to find! Really wanted to share small bites like bruscetta and a cheese platter but they also have specials!! We decided to stay for dinner. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable helping us choose a perfect wine to pair with our meals. Speaking of food, The dishes were absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly complemented by the wine. We had the Chilean Seabass which was seared to perfection with a delicate crispy exterior and they melt-in-your mouth tender center served over roasted vegetables and a beurre blanc sauce that added a subtle tanginess to each bite. They have my favorite Pinot Grigio Livio Felluga by the glass and pairs perfectly enhancing the freshness of the fish while balancing the richness of the sauce. Have to go into detail because it's hard to find premium fish in this area. I'm really picky. Can't say enough about the ambience of the restaurant that adds so much to the overall experience. The dim lighting, cozy seating, and elegant decor made it the perfect spot for an intimate dinner with the hub! The service was impeccable attentive without being intrusive, and every staff member went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable evening. Definitely coming back with friends!! Highly, highly recommend read more

We arrived at this new establishment pretty early, the doors were locked, called the restaurant and they opened their doors a bit early for us. This diamond of a restaurant is unique is so many ways. The ambience is stunning, the food and wine were just spectacular. Not to mention the attentiveness that the staff provide. I would suggest arriving early as seating is minimal. I would highly recommend this place for appetizers and yummmy wine. read more

Great ambience, decor and service. Decent wine selection and ended up with some goood wine. The sliders were super tasty, however were the tiniest sliders I have seen in my life! ! Yeesh, they truly define 'small bites.' Tuna was decent. Bread pudding was a score. Larger portions for the price is suggested. The TV in the restroom w the ongoing scroll is everything. Hopefully you are open to constructive criticism. read more

This place discriminates against people solely on appearance and treats them like trash. In all of our years living in Temecula Valley we have never experienced anything like it. We really wanted to like it but the atmosphere was lackluster and judgmental. Don't waste your time and go to Bottega Italia in Old Town Temecula instead! read more

Such a cool spot--great vibe, amazing food, and a solid wine selection. Our server, Chaselynn, recommended the loaded potato wedges and they did not disappoint. She also helped us pick the perfect glass of Italian red to go with everything. Super friendly and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back! read more

I joined the Carpe Diem membership as seen on the attached flyer, which includes a wine locker plus the benefits outlined below: If you are considering a membership, you may want to Fuhgeddaboudit! 1. Zero corkage fees on wine I bring in. Fuhgeddaboudit! Owners changed to limit to 4 per month. 2. Enjoy 4 free glasses per month. Fuhgeddaboudit! Owners changed their mind. You only get 2 per visit and must order food. 3. Monthly Chef Appetizer Owners changed their mind. They will not allow you to get your appetizer and free glass at the same time. 4. I received membership emails, which twice included every member's name and email address because it was not BCC'd. I believe this is illegal due to exposing PII (personal identifiable information). Literally a huge no no! This has been the most frustrating membership that I have ever joined. The owners keep changing their mind on what's included or not. If you notice on the membership flyer, there are no disclosures or T&Cs. Literally, the worst business planning. read more

Visiting my daughter in Canyon Lake from out of town she recommended this restaurant/lounge. What a find! From the moment we walked in the vibe was just right-cozy, with the perfect mix of charm in buzz. The staff made us feel like we were regulars even though it was our first time. The food? Wow! Every dish felt like a little celebration. I'm still dreaming about the beef tartar-seriously it's worth the trip alone! And don't get me started on the desserts; we shared the truffles and crème brûlée wanted to order the whole list haha. Between the delicious food, the atmosphere, and the great company it was the perfect way to spend an evening. I'll definitely be making this a must stop every time I'm in town. read more
