I know this place to be a meet up spot and a landmark; trust me, I've used it as such several times. I find the gas prices to be a little below the average, which is great, great, great. I use this location as a gauge for other EXXON stations. Going inside the convenience store, one can definitely find something to tickle their fancy. Lots of snack and drink choices. For this station, there are several specialties. Location - This station has the primo location at the intersection of Veterans and Causeway Blvd. If you're headed north, this station is always less crowded than the ones closer to the bridge. Bathroom - While not the cleanest, this station's inside, including bathroom, are open 24 hours a day. It is a great spot to use the facilities before that long drive north. Pumps - There are plenty Car Wash - This is one of the few stations to still have a stand alone wash. In closing, if you are headed to the Northsore and need to fuel up, pee or get your car washed, this is the place for you.

Some older vehicles do not perform well with fuel with ethanol in it, and they have an ethanol free option at each pump. So, you have diesel, unleaded with ethanol and unleaded with no ethanol. That is pretty darn awesome, in my humble opinion. The convenience store is clean, bright, filled with enough options for everyone to enjoy. It is a pleasure to see such a nice gas station, and it is facing north, one of the last stations heading to I-510 and I-10. This is a pleasant improvement in the area.

The paper towel dispenser also performed admirably, dispensing a paper towel after only a brief struggle. Five stars for persistence. The toilet itself appeared to be securely attached to the floor, which inspired considerable confidence. The seat was approximately the temperature I expected, and the flush produced a satisfying sound that suggested several gallons of water had been sent heroically into the plumbing system. There was also soap available, although I cannot confirm whether it was actually soap because I did not conduct laboratory testing. Still, it looked soapy, and sometimes that is enough. Overall, this bathroom delivered a memorable experience for a room whose primary purpose is to be forgotten immediately. Would I specifically drive across town to visit it again? Absolutely not. But if I happened to be at the station and nature called, I would answer.

This is New Orleans, after all, and our gas stations often carry better food than the average restaurant elsewhere, so why wouldn't you try it? The seasoning on the chicken is amazing, it's generally pretty fresh, and if you're a strips person and want some dipping sauce, they've got you covered for that, too. The days they are open are awesome because they're a well stocked convenience store and also serve food, during the lunch hour. The staff is very friendly and always available to assist. The store and the parking lot are always very well kept. The store doesn't accept credit/debit, but there's an ATM available outside of the store. They also sell gasoline and their rates are usually lower than other gas stations. I would definitely recommend stopping by, when they're open. I would suggest the store post concrete business hours on a window or update their profile so that the proper expectations for their hours are understood.
