With that said, the place is a little sketchy. I've been a few times and sometimes the card scanner on some of the pumps won't work and there always seems to be people just lurking around for no good reason. Also, the little "latch" on the pumps, that you hook so that your gas pumps without having to hold it, doesn't work on any of the pumps I've tried, so be warned if touching all over a gas pump is an issue for you. I've never had any of the food, but they have fried chicken if that's your thing.

I said to the cook, "La Cena es grande" - which she appreciated. (There is a very strong Spanish influence around here - and we are headed for Texas and Mexico - and I am working with my Duolingo Spanish app.) I heard a very impressive conversation between the Middle Eastern owner and a black guy who seems to be a business partner of his. There was not a squeegee or water at my pump. Otherwise, a really good operation. I would come back in a second.

Food-N-Fun is still on Manhattan but winds up being a hidden gem because it's tucked behind the Best Buy and on the opposite end of Manhattan from the high traffic. Every time I've gone to Food-N-Fun it's been extremely clean and I've never had to wait for a pump. The inside is also well-kept with nice cashiers. I obviously love that it's a hidden gem but I never understand why more people don't just take the 30 second detour and use this gas station instead.

Because it is one of the few stations in the area, and it is conveniently located. I guess there isn't much else to say, but what good would a two sentence review be? There is a small convenience store attached to this station. It has the typical items, but the real reason I come is to get gas. The memory in question was about a catfish poboy wherein I ordered it and the cashier washed her hands, dredged a fresh catfish filet through an egg wash and cornmeal, prepped the roll, and voila! It was heavenly. 12+ years later, the menu only said "fish" poboy sandwich. If you're a catfish purist like myself, that's a red flag, so I went with the fried chicken. My wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich despite the geographical incongruity. Both were outstanding, and I can't recommend the kitchen enough.
