We've been ordering FUEL for lunch at the office lately. They're very good with customized wraps and charge a reasonable price. The hummus is very good, so are the sweet potato fries, when they aren't burnt. Cesar grilled chicken salad is good too from what I've heard from the staff who order it. My favorite place to go for a healthy lunch. All of the wraps are made fresh as well as the juice! The service and great and you never have to wait a long time for the food. If you are looking just to stop in for a regular lunch while in the area, fuel is probably not for you. Their juices and smoothies are great but the food is definitely aimed at the people leaving the Bally's across the street. Personally I work out and try to eat to grow so this place is a godsend considering the plethora of unhealthy food options available in the area. Compared to most places that advertise themselves as "healthy", fuel is much better than most. Some items lack flavor but for the "Grilled chicken breast, sweet potato and broccoli" crowd it's a welcome change. My two favorites a the Big Guy wrap and the Super Protein Plate. I found these items to be the most flavorful while still not packing on the fast carbs. The Big Guy wrap comes with Bison, Chicken, Avocado and Chipotle sauce. The Super Protein Plate comes with Bison and Chicken and their Fuel Spices (pretty sure that is a fancy way of saying Italian spices) and you can add Brown rice or sweet potato fries on the bottom. Both option are delicious and in my opinion the best dishes Fuel offers. The best thing about this place are their desserts. I know it's almost impossible to make a brownie or a muffin "healthy" without them tasting like cardboard, but this is definitely better than anything you can get out of a box. Their desserts are delicious and won't make you feel like you owe yourself an hour on the treadmill after. Overall, if you are into health and fitness (or just stick to a very demanding diet) this place is definitely for you. read more

Today I attempted to place a $30 order but because the man who answered who speaks terrible english put me on hold for 15 minutes I could not place my order. When I repeatdly called back he continued to put me on hold. I asked him for his name so that I can tell the owners and he told me to come there to his face and he will tell me his name. Really? I would rather throw my money in the garbage then spend another dollar at your establishment. And by the way half the time our orders are wrong and you never apologize for the mistake. Food is good but service was horrible, they messed up my order and agreed to send me the right one but when the delivery guy came back he didn't have the food he only came to pick up the food they messed up, when he finally returned with the right order after an hour of waiting it was cold and dry. In an attempt to keep my (full)figure this has been my go to spot for some healthy alternatives. You'd be surprised how much crap can be made out of fiber. Even muffins. The muffins over here are so large they look like they were baked at the bakery of Chernobyl. They even resemble mushroom clouds. But hey at under 200 calories per piece who am I to question the preparation methods. Then there's bison meat as substitute for beef. Did I miss the revolutionary discovery that bison is somehow healthier to eat than cows? I'm not even 100% sure what bison even looks like but that meat made me question whether it is in fact this mythical bison creature or a rat. Be careful with eating unknown ground meat people because if you don't know what something's supposed to taste like, you shall never know what you actually ate. Otherwise I'm fond of the spot. Most dishes are delicate and not too shabby considering every ingredient made by man since the beginning of time has been substituted by something in the same color family. I also like the owners bleach blond hair and the pictures on the wall from back in the day when he was a Schwarzenegger body double. Note to self: stick younger photos of myself on every outfit to show what once was. Funny story worth a mention: I've been drinking wheat grass juice for almost 2 years off and on here. Yum, yum, yum! I absolutely love coming here. There seems to be something for everyone and I'm not kidding. Breakfast, low carb, pizza style, veggie, whole wheat, smoothies, and wheatgrass juice if you're brave enough to get it. Since this place is across the street from a gym I frequent, it's the perfect pit stop for a healthy after workout pick-me-up. The best part about the smoothies is that you see all of the ingredients right in front of you and how they prepare it. Added bonus of having protein supplements available if you want it. As someone who is still learning the ins and outs of cooking, it's a great place to come when you're feeling lazy. You feel completely satisfied without feeling bogged down with the, "Oh no! I ate too much and I hate myself for it!" feeling. We've all been there. Stop by when you're in the area. The guys behind the counter have always been real friendly too. I live very close by, about 10 minutes driving and was really craving something on their menu and after giving them my address the guy said he wouldn't deliver to me because it's "too far". Why have a "delivery" option if you're only willing to go close by, if thats the case people can just walk in and place their orders or call and come and pick them up. Very cozy spot but had an awful experience when ordering pickup. When I showed up, the guy behind the register misheard me and thought I was placing a new order rather than picking up so he proceeded to put the new order in. After waiting 10 minutes when I had placed the order a good 20 minutes prior to showing up (I ordered the egg whites sandwich, shouldn't take half an hour to make), I reasserted that I had come to pickup my order, which was when the guy who misheard me proceeded to yell at me for not telling him that I was waiting for pickup and that they now had two orders for me. I was ridiculed in front of the other staff and the surrounding customers. After calmly asserting that the guy simply misheard me the first time, he blatantly ignored me and turned back to his crew and mockingly said "She never told me she came for pickup". So for the third time I loudly informed the entire crew, and anyone else listening by that point, that I did say I came for pickup and that he refuses to admit he misheard me. I paid for only my order and left. I would have left without paying if I had the time to get lunch somewhere else without being late to work (this was why I originally called ahead). Everyone has bad days but you should always treat your customers, and people in general, with respect OR at the very least restrain from acting like a stubborn ass.
