although we had a great time there because of the people. I would say the food was very mediocre. Service was definitely very nice. I had the Azteca special which was huge and nothing to write home about. The skinny margaritas were OK but nothing special.

Azteca has been kitty-corner from the Fraser Safeway for as long as I can remember. The food is *always* the real-deal and the parking lot is usually full. Authentic Mexican food - put their cocina to the test & you will not be disappointed. Ask for extra (hotter) sauces if you're up to the task. Give these hometown favorites a try :)

Dropped by for a late lunch with a large family group after an afternoon of tubing. We were seated immediately and our server gathered our drink orders right away. We started with guacamole, queso, and queso fundido which were amazing and for mains, I had the Pollo Chipotle which was a generous serving and delicious! Our server was amazing and so fun, we had a wonderful time together!

The poblano pepper we highly recommend!

As other reviews said, it's a great sign when the parking lot is full. The service was phenomenal and the food was not only delicious but a great value for the price. My friend had the vegetarian stuffed poblano pepper. I got the spinach enchilada which was great but I had envy of his poblano pepper! Thankfully he was willing to share.

We were hungry after a hike and were looking for a place to eat. The parking lot was full, it was a beautiful night and there was outdoor seating so we decided to give it a try!! It was amazing! Great chips and salsa. Everything on the menu sounded delicious so it was hard to choose. Ended up with the chicken taco salad and the taco platter. All 3 of us left absolutely stuffed for around $47 (before tip). Get it was reasonably priced for the area. Service was wonderful as well.

We held out coming to this place bc we figured it wouldn't be good-we were wrong!! We got the steak and chicken fajitas and it was delicious. Our server was pleasant and efficient and the place was packed. We will absolutely be frequenting this spot.

It's crowded inside, but still plenty of seating on the patio!

We always love to stop at Azteca. We had combination plates today, and happened to make it in for happy hour where a house margarita is $3 and change!! Normally, they are about $6.25 which still is a great price! You can get a pitcher for just under $30. Our combination platters had a chicken tamale, crispy relleno, and an enchilada. There was Colorado sauce across the selections, and it was delicious!! It's served with rice and beans. At the time of this review, it is $13.25, great price for a lot of food plus complimentary chips and salsa. Private and free parking! Whenever we recommend to our friends places to go eat lunch or dinner, Azteca is at the top of the list!! Happy hour is 1pm-4pm at the time of this writing. Ok, edit for happy hour is now 2-4pm. It's subject to change and whatever server you have! Just ask!

A local favorite in Fraser! Fuego Azteca has awesome Mexican food and friendly service year round. Whether you want to come eat outside in the summer or grab a warm meal after skiing, this is your place! I got the combo plate of a tamale, chile relleno, and an enchilada. All were tasty and I especially enjoyed the tamale which was not too dense and had good flavor. The green chile here is great and I'd recommend smothering your burrito with it (or at least getting a cup on the side!). The tacos were as expected but the pinto beans that came with the tacos were incredible-- spicy and flavorful! The margaritas are good and you can request ones made without a margarita mix. Check out Fuego Azteca next time you're in Fraser or Winter Park!

Amazing food, great service, quick to serve our party of 12. We really loved the street tacos and chilaquiles.

Tamale, chile relleno and a cheese tamale with rice and beans.. so good

Excellent food and service! Everything was so good.. but the queso and tamales were my favorite! My husband and I had a great night and we will bring our family from rifle back here and make it a tradition to eat here every year from now on.. The only thing that would make it better is if we could enjoy our appetizers and drinks before our food comes out lol.. but it was amazing and thank you We will be back!!

Good spot to watch sports games too, they have a lot of TVs around. Ordered the double ditch burger with onion rings, and a house marg. The burger was awesome. If the weather is nice enough I suggest sitting on the patio. They have a gorgeous view and plenty of seating. We tried the Juantons and they are served with their spicy green chile. It makes you instantly hungry and has a way of making you forget about skiing or any other plans. I went with the two street tacos for $20. I chose the Elk and the Steak, opting for double black beans instead of rice to keep the diet right. Both were fantastic; the succulent steak provided a perfect balance to the leaner elk. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa, and Mi Casa delivered a great trio: a fresh pico, a solid medium verde, and a "light you up" option for those who want the heat. The bar serves a solid Ranch Water with true Topo Chico instead of club soda from the gun, and my son gave the kids' quesadilla a strong report. The interior is well-executed--it transports you without feeling kitschy. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout. Overall, a reality-based "win" for a post-mountain meal.

She attempted to seat the two of us at a six-person table directly next to three women who were clearly intoxicated, had obviously been there for quite some time, and were extremely loud. We ended up moving ourselves to the far end of the table just to get away from the conversation. Unfortunately, the service only got worse. It took over 10 minutes before a server came to our table, and then another five minutes to receive water after we specifically asked for it. Throughout the meal we felt completely ignored. After we finished eating, we sat with our dirty plates for another 10 minutes before anyone came by. The food itself was average--nothing memorable--but the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. There are too many restaurants that value their customers for us to return. Sadly, we won't be back.
