As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. I'm still building my "rolodex" for home repairs, renovations, and HVAC, but glad I'm taking one big one off my list.

They tore off a door facing to make it fit and that had to be repaired at our expense. Also, I now cannot even open the kitchen windows due to their mess up! Steer clear of these people who Lowe's contracts with to cut and install granite. Shame on Lowe's for employing them! They made me want to never do any sort of home improvements again! First off, the kitchen is very small and should not have taken as long as it did. The second day they arrived, the woman on the team was wearing pajamas. The team destroyed one of the brand new electric outlets using pliers and reinstalled all of them using cabinet screws, instead of the screws that were newly installed. I asked for a manager to come see the electrical damage as well as the fact that a cabinet door could not open due to the backsplash being too high, due to the door being pinched. The manager agreed with everything and told me he could have them come back and remove the piece of backsplash to be recut, but the sheetrock would need to be replaced. I called the cabinet installers to see if they could simply adjust doors. The cabinet installers came back out two weeks later and did adjust the doors, noting "anyone who knows how to install counters should have known they cut this too high." The electrician came back out and repaired the damaged electrical outlets (for a fee). Blue Sky Countertops is not professional, did not do a good job, and did not back up the work they did. I would not ever use this company again. Lowes needs to stop doing business with them! I filed a complaint with Lowes and Blue Sky Countetops claims they did nothing wrong. He took out the cheap materials the other tile contractor was attempting to get past us (and would have if we hadn't found Chad) and replaced everything with quality materials and extra steps to make sure we didn't have problems with the shower in the future. We couldn't be more satisfied. He helped us with decisions and made the new custom shower look beautiful. Never a mess, never a problem, never a worry. He did a great job at a reasonable rate and we highly recommend him if you need any tile work done.
