Nice layout and selection..., but.... The a la cart wing bar wings are only thumb sized and badly dried out. They need to just get rid of the whole wing bar. It's actually embarrassing. I almost always find spoiled/badly bruised/moldy produce. Keep your receipts! I don't may even buy milk there anymore. It consistently goes bad long before sell by date. Try to return it and catch crap from customer service. I have found a lot of compromised packaging after getting home. Cracked yoplait in eight packs where it isnt seen, lots of sliced bags: candy, English muffins... Check items carefully and SAVE receipts!!! Lots of floor spills... about a third of the time I go, there is a significant spill. (Blue gel squiggle all the way down the shampoo aisle), etc. They aren't walking the aisles for floor checks. Wow! This Fry's is huge and has everything you're looking for. It makes sense because it's the only grocery store very near Asante homes and more new home developments near 163rd, Jomax, and west Grand Ave. there's a Starbucks with a large seating area at the entrance to the right, a pharmacy, full service and self checkout lanes. Large beauty, cleaning, clothing, home goods and appliances section besides all of the normal grocery store items you'd expect to find. Large parking lot shared with fast food restaurants and businesses. Very friendly staff here. I was greeted twice by the cart attendant and the checker and bagger were very nice. read more

Came here with my family a group of five and we were all checking out separately. While I was at the self‑checkout, the manager overseeing the area came up and tried to ID my younger brothers, who are minors. I've never had an experience like that before. She explained a rule that if there's a group of three, they have to ID everyone. I tried to understand the rule better, but that was the only explanation she gave. I asked her if she would ID kids in a situation where a dad was checking out with his two children. She said no, she would "use common sense" in that case, which left me even more confused about why my family was singled out. I eventually was able to get my drinks after explaining that we were a family and that our parents were with us, but the whole interaction felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. if folks take the time to look at other grocery stores they will see that this place is overpriced with poor customer service. I don't normally shop here but I went yesterday Thursday Aug 6. Despite being one of the most expensive markets in town, they cannot afford baggers and in many cases their cashiers expect you to bag your own groceries. Yesterday, after working 14 hours I stopped in for a bottle of alcohol and went through self check. The person that was suppose to check my Id was some mental he/she that made me wait for he/she. He had to remove that thing on top of the bottle and instead of checking my age and freeing the terminal, it walked away. I tried to get him to free the terminal so I could finish ringing up the rest of my groceries, but it just kept walking. It made me wait on it to finish my purchase. On top of everything, it gave me a retarded 2 thumbs up on my out. It almost got its ass kicked. if the next grocery store was not several miles away, I would have left. Look at the soda costs. A normal 12 pack of soda is $12. It is only $8 at other markets. Their buy 2 get 1 is actually selling you 3 12 packs at regular price in other stores. Sale price at Walmart or Winn Co is about $5 each. This place is taking advantage of your lazines. read more

Definitely what this area needed. This being the only store or gas station nearby it's made a world of difference to this area. While easily accessible from Any direction the traffic is still lousy getting back towards Grand Ave. The store is massive and full of food stations like sushi, chicken and more. There is also of course a Starbucks with seating. There are self checkouts as well as your normal cashiers. The store is clean and everything pretty easy to find what you need. Service was the only thing lacking. While I walked by my Erin's employees only one acknowledged me. It doesn't hurt to at least say hello. read more

I wouldn't normally give a 1 star rating but my experience at the Starbucks was long drawn out and ended up with me still not getting what I paid for. they charged me for a venti drink and gave me the lowest filled cappuccino in a grande cup that I have ever received. so they said they would remake my drink in a venti cup, I said I would actually take a macchiato instead since it's cheaper anyway, they denied me this and then said that they wouldn't remake my drink at all at this point. I was so confused with the sudden change.. I then said okay can I speak with the guy who rang me up wrong then, and they wouldn't even honor this request. It was Victoria, the alleged manager, who was causing this drama, who also had the nerve to ask for my receipt when I said they could keep it as well (and then denied printing me a new one). I do not know what was going on here and ended up walking away with a smaller drink than what I paid for, and felt very very disrespected at the counter, and they had the nerve to use the word 'respectfully' when trying to shoo me off after doing me wrong. on top of this I'm brand new to the community this is my 3rd time at the Starbucks and will be leaving you guys a note to describe my anger and dissatisfaction and how appalled I am with the employees Matthew, Rhianan and Victoria for just watching and not helping me when I did nothing wrong. read more

This has to be the best Fry's I've ever been to! It's huge, well-organized, has room for carts and people to go down the well-lit aisles, and the staff is always friendly from the deli, the cheese shop, hot food, eat counter, and cashiers. The coupon labels always let you know if you need to clip it on your phone or if it's just a 'member' type-in-your number kind of coupon... The store is always clean and the carts are inside right at the front entrance for your convenience. What's not to love? read more

Frys hot food deli is hit or miss. I work close by and we tend to go there for lunch. However, some of the time the food is fresh other times It is hard as a rock and you can't chew the chicken strips or potatoes wedges. They need to work on being more consistent. Wow, this new Frys turned out beautifully! The aesthetic is very pleasing; the store layout is very well thought out. We didn't really interact with any staff but have heard they're friendly. Most of the staff is super friendly. I have run into a couple staff members that lacked compassion and showed their frustration when I had messed up my budgeting and my card wasn't working (I forgot to grab my new card ) The bakery is always friendly, however the times I've gone there has been next to no selections, the same goes for the deli and butcher. I've seen other Fry's have a much better flow and organization to their store. Some endcaps don't make any sense and sometimes something I'll look for in its place it should be in and is labeled to be in you have To go hunting around the store to find said advertised item only on end cap and not in its predicted place. read more

This store is super close to us, convenient & clean. Has basically everything we need. But from the start customer service has not been very good. Most of the checkers sit there and chat with the baggers the entire time of drama and don't pay any attention to the customers. Majority of the time, the people watching self check out are so bothered by their job that if you ask for help you are disturbing them it seems. I worked in a grocery store for 6 years, I know it can be hard dealing with people but I also no how important customer service is. It's just not a thing anymore unfortunately. Pay a lot of money for crappy service. I came in yesterday and got chicken with my groceries. Both of the packages I grabbed have a sticker on them that say (buy one get one free) but the tag didn't state that in the area they were in. So when I went to check out at self check out, I noticed it did not come off, so I asked for help. The lady already seemed bothered before I asked for help and I explained what was going on and she said "ya that's last weeks sale" as if I was at a loss because they can properly tag their items for the current sale. I said both packages have the sticker stating it... "ugh..." as she proceeded to remove the amount for the lower price "I removed it for you" and walks away. I'm so confused why I was treated so rudely over the stores mistake? Just left the store. Went in specifically to pick up some items at the Deli. Was waiting and asked if I needed a number and was told no. Someone else came up messing with the number app and pulled several tickets off. Then she announced the next number. I said I was next and told I did not need a number. Pre ordered a 6ft sub and 40 pieces of chicken a week in advance. The store called to confirm on Friday. Told them yes, be there pick up Saturday afternoon at 4. We arrived at 4:15 and were told they had the sub, but they didn't have the chicken ready. They asked us if we picked it up earlier. No, we didn't. They said they could remake it (uh, yeah, let's do that) and it would take 10 minutes. 10 minutes go by. 15. 25. 40. You could smell the oil cooking, it was almost nauseatingly strong. I finally had to step outside. At the 50 minute mark they told my husband they were boxing it up, then disappeared for another 10 minutes. The manager came over and gave a cold, disingenuous "sorry". My husband took the food (FINALLY) at the 60 minute mark to the front to check out. Only for the cashier to point out there was no tag to scan on the sub sandwich. Back to the deli, and had them slap a sticker on it. They were uncaring, disrespectful (especially the manager), and they sold the original order of chicken to someone else. SOS, the deli needs better management. If you have an event (like we did, celebrating a family members last chemo treatment) for the sake of your patience and sanity, don't place an order here. read more

New, clean, and great depth of stock--but terrible customer service. I went in just after 9 a.m. on a weekday morning when it was not too crowded. I had about 2 dozen items in my cart and got into line behind FIVE other customers who EACH had a cart filled to overflowing at the ONLY staffed check-out line. There were TWELVE open self-check-out lines, but only 2 customers were using those. Numerous employees walked by and saw the line of people waiting, but no one offered to help, no one called for another cashier, and no one bothered to call a manager. The people running this store JUST DON'T GET IT--if a store cannot have someone available to take my money, then I will choose to spend it somewhere else.
