Food takes forever to be ready and the food is not good meat tastes like it's days old

Since we had unusually high temperatures tonight I thought a nice cold fruit bowl would be nice so I found this place on Yelp and since it had great reviews so my husband and I went down and ordered a fruit cup with Chamoy and a Bionicos. Well apparently they stop making things with fruit at 7:00pm but the woman reluctantly made us the stuff anyways. I wish she would have just said they stop serving fruit at 7:00pm and left it at that instead of taking our money and giving us garbage that I could not even salvage once I got home and ended up throwing away. Thanks for wasting our time, money, and a bunch of fruit that would have been fine had you not drowned it in watered down crap. And the reason the fruit is in a bowl is because she filled a to go cup to the point where once I opened it the liquid spilled everywhere. How exactly are you supposed to eat this and why would you? I didn't know what to chose and then I saw the sign that read, "Tejuino." I instantly thought of my dad and the acquired taste of that drink. If you have never tried it, it's a fermented corn drink which is popular in certain parts of Mexico. The corn dough is mixed with raw brown sugar and left to ferment slightly. Them it's boil, cooled and served over ice with lime juice and salt. It's less thick than cream of wheat but thicker than a slurpee. Very savory and acidic. Wakes you up, that's for sure. The one served here took me back to younger years when my dad took us to the park and he let us try it. I am almost reluctant writing a review for Frutilandia because I want it to stay a hidden gem. Seriously though, this place is the sh**t. They make fresh jugo and you can pick what fruit you'd like. I always get melon(cantaloupe) and sandia(watermelon) combined. Then there is the tacos, it's crazy but I honestly think these might be the best tacos I've ever had. El sauz probably comes close behind, but the tacos at Frutilandia have that feeling and taste of a homemade taco that you're grandma just made you. There salsa is soooo good too. When I went in today they made me fresh tortillas for my asada tacos. I don't think this happens very often, but maybe if you're lucky you can experience it at least once. The asada and pollo tacos are my fav. I really recommend to try them, the meat is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The asada literally melts in your mouth. Good for a quick fruit fix especially on a hot day. Little bit overpriced for the quality they give. The raspado shave way to much ice and not enough fruit and chamoy. If you want a lot of fruit go for the fruit cups that are frozen and in the freezer by the door. Mangoneadas are only half the price of the fancier fruit items yet have WAY more actual mango the pupusas and tacos in weekend nights are also very good. Only actual complaint is the heavy ice on items marked $5 and up. Boyfriend loves the smoothies but he had gotten one or two that were too much ice as well.
