Firstly, cant say that we tried anything here as we wanted to and had every intention to buy snacks but the lady behind the counter/in the back never assisted us... We stood at the front, patiently, for about 5 min and when she walked out she was preparing someone snacks but never greeted us, never said I'll be with ya in a few and acted as if we were invisible. Really, there was 7 of us, we're hard to miss..... the lady proceeds to mind her business as if there was no one in line and passed food to the staff next to her at the Chinese food place and collected his funds and still ignored us. Well, I have a beverage and the nephew wanted fruit, but after another 7 min or so of standing looking and waiting for the staff, still nothing- she proceeds to ignore us. So we got the hint, walked away and won't be back. Staff was too rude and in the end I'm glad I didn't waste my $ here.

Chicken tamale , pork tamale , quesa birria , enchilada asada

Tried this spot cause my coworker recommended this spot for good Mexican food . I pretty much got a little bit of different things to try and told her to just put everything in the same box . The quesa birria and the enchilada asada were my fave . And the consommé was really good too with bit of meat still in there . Yummmm . The only reason I knocked off a star was because the two tamales I got weren't soft . I'm not sure if that's just how they make it but I'm used to it being pretty soft and easy to cut with a fork . The chicken one was harder than the pork one but it was still good , flavor wise . Just ate the filling where the meat was .

The Asada Fries are a great addition to the menu! Huge portion piled with asada, sour cream, avocado, salsa, jalapenos etc... All for only about $7.50 or so!!

Fruit cup with chili and lime added from their condiment table and Corn (elote) with everything on it-yum!

Stopped by here for a quick bite and was not disappointed! I ordered the corn with everything on it and a fruit cup. The fruit cup was huge and the fruit was fresh. I squeezed lime juice and chili all over it from their condiment table. The corn was hot and juicy and exactly what I was looking for that day. Bottom line: I'll be back again and again and again and you should go too!!!

Best mangoneada I've had is from this place! Their corn in a cup was also great. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely visit again.

Best baked potatoes, hands down. They are HUGE and LOADED!! $6+ and worth every penny. If you're craving potatoes, look no further.

Horrible fruit....the fruit was spoiled and tasteless. The mangonada was horrible as well. The only decent thing we purchased was a ICEE.

I called in my order and spoke with a pleasant, courteous and professional employee. He quoted my order to be ready within 5-10 minutes which I don't feel was a bad wait time. I've been inside the building before and I like that it's always fresh inside with nice decor throughout. They are always very welcoming. I really like the sincere "hello" and eye contact upon entering.. unlike other places that do that yet out of habit or being mandated by management. Enough said. Pros: the bowl was prepared before my eyes with fresh fruit. I truly enjoyed the taste of the granola, mixed with the açaí base, peanut butter and fruit. I will definitely be back! Cons: perhaps a bigger portion container. I get everything is expensive nowadays and they too had to increase their prices as any business should but I believe the portion for $9 can be a bit larger.

The staff is also so amazing. They're genuinely kind, welcoming, and patient, and you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. Even when it's busy, they still manage to make you feel seen and taken care of, which makes the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is what really makes it stand out. It's cozy, clean, and super inviting. There's even a couch where you and your friends can sit back, hang out, and relax, plus board games you can actually play while you're there. It makes the place feel less like a quick stop and more like a fun little hangout spot where you can stay a while. DEFINITELY a must try if you're new to Hanford!!

He was so right. Superior Dairy is temporarily operating out of a small trailer while its classic old building across the street is undergoing renovations. That might not sound like the ideal setup, but the two young ladies working there certainly didn't let it get in the way of providing a great experience. Both were exceptionally friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to take care of us. I somewhat hesitantly asked whether they could make a pineapple milkshake. This was a deal breaker at Cold Stone when they looked at me like I was crazy for asking--I've never been back. Here, though, there was a brief "Hmm..." moment before one of the young ladies said, "We don't have a pineapple shake on the menu, but we certainly could add fresh pineapple to our vanilla ice cream." Sold! The result was an excellent fresh-pineapple milkshake--and exactly the kind of little bit of creativity and customer service that makes a stop memorable. It tasted so good on a hot day! The temporary location is actually quite pleasant, sitting alongside a beautiful park near Hanford's civic auditorium, with shaded outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream. There's some interesting history right there as well: The distinctive building behind the stand is the old Kings County jail, known locally as "The Bastille." And then there's the ice cream itself. The temporary operation may mean simple surroundings and very plain serving cups, but don't let appearances fool you. The cups are plain, but the taste is not. My only regret is that I didn't try the fresh peach. Based on that pineapple milkshake, I have a feeling I missed something pretty special. Superior Dairy was a fun, friendly, unexpected stop on the trip home--and one I'd happily make again.

The atmosphere has that timeless, old-school ice cream parlor vibe that makes every visit feel special, no matter how many times you've been. It's always lively, busy, and full of people making new memories while holding onto old ones. It's also refreshing to see the new owners putting care into the place and remodeling the inside so it can feel like a true indoor diner again, bringing back that classic sit-down experience that so many people remember.

After waiting about 5 minutes for someone to take our order, someone came out and told us they were closed on Sundays. Needless to say, we were instantly bummed. We went to the window, and she made her the Cookie Monster shake exactly how we asked for it. The tiny truck is aqua, with a little window showcasing the assortment of beautiful cupcakes. There is an adorable girl swiftly managing the long line of people. She even matched the adorable theme! She was wearing cute little overalls, with perfect eyeliner and a little bandana in her high ponytail. The whole thing just looked like a movie. Some of the cupcake flavors are: Rocky Road, Strawberry Sweetheart, Tres Leches, Birthday Cake, Banana Cream Pie, Snickerdoodle, Red Velvet.... The frosting is stacked high and each cupcake is decorated so sweet. After my lunch (from Tako BBQ), I ordered 2 cupcakes. I could not decide which two to pick, so at the last second I went with the strawberry sweetheart and the rocky road. I take my first bite of the rocky road. The frosting is high so I have to open my mouth super wide in order to get the perfect bite. The frosting is not mega sweet (yay), but it is super soft and creamy. It is surrounded by marshmallows and slivers of nuts. The chocolate cake is super soft, and is absolutely not dry inside. Next I tried the strawberry one. It is white cake, with strawberry mousse inside topped with whipped cream and a homemade candy heart. The candy heart is a bit too sweet for me, but the whipped cream on top was yummy!!! The mousse inside was pink and very rich, but still, not incredibly sugary, it was delicious.

There were twelve different cupcakes when we walked up. Strangely, none of them were labeled. I just didn't get that. We tried three different cupcakes: peanut butter chocolate, candy corn, and something like a vanilla-caramel-cream cheese. They were all fine. The consensus was that they weren't necessarily better than homemade from a box. The odd part of the experience was that, when it was time to pay, after presenting their credit cards, customers were told, "You have the option of giving a 15% tip or a 20% tip." Both customers I observed seemed taken aback at this, as was I.
