This place is so cute! And the smoothies are great!! I was eating next door and saw these girls with a super cool looking drink and I decided to ask them, they showed me where it was and I ordered. I told them I wanted the chamoyada bc I thought that was the name. And when I received it I realized I messed up and meant to say mangoyada. The workers were very understanding and gave me the correct drink no problem! Would definitely come back

I found Fruta Loca on Facebook, and I was so excited to finally stop in, and grab a Mangonada - which is like a Mexican-style mango smoothie which reminded me of something they'd serve back home in California. It was blended right after I ordered, and was cold and refreshing on a hot night. They have a yummy variety on their menu, and I can't wait to go back and try something new! I can see Fruta Loca being my last stop before heading to the beach this summer because of the convenient location right on Broadway. They even have ice cream for the little ones!

You cant miss this place!! Love the atmosphere

This place is incredible!!!! They use fresh products, I had the fresh orange juice and you can definitely taste the freshness. I also tried the elote (corn) with cheese and spicy powder . I would definitely recommend this place 100%!! I will be back to ty their Belgian waffles!! The staff was super friendly as well.

A locals gem. Not touristy like Playa Bowls. When I went in this afternoon there were several families sitting along the bench inside enjoying their fruit and hot sauce/seasoning combinations on a beautiful hot summer day. It gave me say that it was good. In the back it looked like a hometown restaurant with the fruit being freshly prepared and cut as you ordered.this thing why is delicious if you're looking to try something new it was about six dollars.

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.

Being only a few blocks away and rated fairly high, Creperie popped up on my search so I knew I had to stop by on one of my evening walks back from the office. Although a rather tiny little shop, Creperies manages to still have some very limited seating right outside. As well as counter space inside the shop if you don't mind standing and crowding with other people waiting for their orders. I ordered the Strawberry and Banana crepe as it seemed to be a popular option. Size-wise, this crepe is pretty hefty and filling. Comes in an aluminum container so it's much less messy to grab and go. Although sweet, I felt the crepe itself was just ok. Nothing about it really stood out nor made it particularly memorable. They offer both sweet and savory crepes here if you want to make a meal out of it.
