passionfruit green tea with boba and honeydew milk tea with boba
    Orianna X.

pleasantly surprised ^_^ Pros: For a boba booth in the middle of a mall in Western Massachusetts, the variety of drink flavors offered by Fruity Bubble is impressive! (I ordered the passionfruit green tea with boba, and my friend got the honeydew milk tea with boba.) The guy behind the counter was accommodating and made our teas with 50% sugar! Plus, there was no line, and parking at the mall was a piece of cake! The price is also reasonable compared to other boba places. Cons: My only complaint would be that the boba is a bit tough, but it wasn't a turn-off. Bottom Line: I would definitely come again to try their other teas and slushies!

And so.. the search for good boba in Springfield continues... I was pretty excited to see that the newer reviews were very positive about this place, despite the overall star rating, but... it was just not up to par. The service was very good as the lady behind the counter was super nice and quick with taking our orders. I got the pineapple green tea with bubbles and I was left disappointed. The tea itself was not half bad at all. Tasted like the lesser version of Kung Fu Teahouse's sunshine pineapple tea (which is my dead on favorite). The bubbles were the issue..... it was tasteless and super small. There are regular bubbles and tiny bubbles, but these were somewhere in the weird middle. They were a bit hard in the center so I'm guessing they were under cooked. Also, a bit expensive.. Overall not the worst I've had, but won't be going out our way to get some. Maybe next time I'll try their milk teas and hope the boba is sweeter and squishy!

So bubble tea is really for those who love it. You either love it or hate it. I happen to enjoy it quite a bit. I'm reviewing the restaurant itself though. I went there with my fiancé and she was a boba tea virgin. They were very understanding and accommodating to her demands, which pretty much was only "unsweet tea please" but still. They have a plethora of different bubble flavors which was pretty amazing, although not all of them were a bubble shape which is slightly disappointing. Overall not bad.

I was surprised to find bubble tea in the middle of this suburban area. I didn't have a high expectation but left satisfied. My boyfriend got the green tea milk tea and I got the Thai milk tea. They tasted... surprisingly authentic, with just the right amount of sugar and fresh bubbles. Would recommend!

I crave milk tea at least once a week and there's always plenty of milk tea places around the Boston area, but since my boyfriend lives in the middle of nowhere..I was excited to finally find a milk tea place somewhat close to him. I didn't have a high expectation for the milk tea in this area considering there isn't a high demand for it, but was surprised to find out that the milk tea was decent. It had just the right amount of sweetness and the best part was that the boba was fresh and chewy (even though we bought it as they were closing at night).

Love their custom drink orders. Flavors are great. Adequate amount of bobas to accommodate with the size of my cup.

I always come here for bubble tea when I'm at the mall. It's not the best I've had, but it's decent and I've never had a bad drink there.

But here is the problem: the owner is clearly staying in the kitchen with their head in a hole and has no idea what customers are actually experiencing. The dining room was cold. Not comfortable. Not cozy. Just cold. My wife ordered something she didn't expect and didn't like, but no one ever came by to ask how things were. No one noticed. The waiter wasn't rude. He just wasn't attentive. Out of touch, not alert, going through the motions. We sat there in an empty, cold room with pre-poured dipping sauces in little plastic cups like we were at a takeout counter. its chintzy, For $50? Really? Here is the thing people need to understand: people don't just eat out to eat. They eat out to feel better about their lives. Even if just for an hour. Even if just to escape the kitchen and the stress at home. When the service is missing, or poor, or causes more stress than it relieves, it's not worth going back. No matter how good the food is. It was slow when we were there. So, it's not like they were overwhelmed. They just weren't paying attention to the people who actually showed up. I feel for the owners. I do. Running a restaurant is brutal. But if folks like us don't come back, and we won't, you're in trouble. Because the service element is like a note which says we want you back or we could give a****. The food alone isn't enough. You have to look up from the stove once in a while and see what your customers are going through.
