The bubbles aren't good they feel they weren't made at this store and you can't get double bubble due to the boba shortage. I got fruit tea with jasmine tea with lychee with 70% sugar. I can barley taste the tea or the fruit. There is an upgrade for a large on the yelp app and I applied the coupon and they didn't give us the upgrade because we weren't a member at that bubble tea store. I've been to a fruittealicious a few times and I would my experiences have been mixed. The milk teas are very very sweet. I usually get 100% sweetness level but at fruitytealicious I have to get 50%. I think the boba is a bit too hard and chewy and not soft enough. Ironically my favorite drink I've gotten is the mango lassi. I cannot speak for its authenticity but it had a strong fresh mango taste and was just the right level of sweetness. In the future that is the only thing I'll be getting from frutitealicious. The service was fine. The prices were also ok. You could definitely get better boba for the same price or less though. The decor was fine. They had board games out which was a plus but it's not the kind of place I want to study at. read more

This place looks like it's closed when you drive by (at least it did at night) but it isn't, and it's worth the try! They have a widespread menu from milk teas, fruity, coffee, slushees, and smoothies. What I also loved was they have substitutions for dairy products, other than almond milk because my daughter is also allergic to nuts. We ordered a strawberry/lychee slushy and their featured chocolate covered strawberry with boba. Both were delicious! The fruity was sweet like I had hoped and the chocolate seriously tasted just like a chocolate covered strawberry! Fruitealicious is probably my favorite bubble tea shop in Dallas, there are 5 locations and I've been to 4 of them. This one probably has the best service, with the guy who may or may not have been hitting on me while recommending various drinks to us. He told us to get the Lemonade instead of the Salty Cow. We ended up getting both. We like the Spotted Cow but it really was mostly icy milk with some nice caramel stuff at the bottom. And flan. I'm a flan of flan. However the lemonade is amazing. The guava lemonade is good but the lychee lemonade that the guy recommended is absolutely amazing. We both loved it. I think that their brown sugar milk tea is one of my favorites and I always get it when I come here. It's similar to Okinawa at Sharetea. Delicious and refreshing. One of the best milk teas I've had. The Raspberry Black Tea or Lemon Black, with Aloe Vera, are excellent. And OMG - the Aloha Refresher. One of the weirdest and best drinks I've had at a bubble tea shop - in fact there is one in my freezer right now. Refreshing, filled with aloe vera flavour liquid and chunks of aloe vera and strawberry bits and I just can't with how good it is. They have decent prices, great service, cute decor, but best of all they have really wonderful drinks. Their AC is Arctic cold so bundle up when you go there - says Barbie. Personally I was ok with it. I highly recommend that if you like bubble tea you give these places a try like, yesterday. Not the best boba around but they make their fruit teas pretty good! Sweetness level can be adjusted but the 100% is usually on par for me. My favorite drinks there are the mango green tea and peach green tea. Boba isn't that great so I prefer other toppings like the grass jelly and lychee jelly. Fast and friendly service! read more

I visited Fort Worth on a business trip, and decided to stop by Fruitealicious before taking the bus back to Austin on a hot and humid summer day. I ordered one of their popular drinks - black sugar tri-fecta with the lowest amount of sweetness and less ice. I was pretty impressed! The drink had a good taste of black sugar and strong tea taste without being too creamy. It's called trifecta because it contains boba, grass jelly, and egg pudding. The boba was slightly sweet and had great chewy texture. Grass jelly was bland but it was a good add to the drink to balance out all the sweetness, creaminess, and chewiness. Egg pudding was interesting. I know egg pudding is pretty popular as a topping offered by many boba tea shops, but I'd never tried it in my drinks. I'm glad that it was included in this drink here for me to try. It's just like pieces of firm flan - creamy and slightly sweet - I liked. Service was amazing. The owner/manager was training a new hire when I walked in, and let her practice taking my order. They also made great recommendations on drinks and sweetness adjustment based on your preference. I just want to point out the service was super amazing here! The blonde girl greeted us enthusiastically and offered us a menu since it was our first time. I always assume if there is teen workers then no good service but the workers here was super helpful and left me feeling happy with my drink! The black sugar tri-fecta is super good!! It's a black sugar milk tea based with toppings of tapioca,black jelly and flan pudding. Not a big fan of flan so I substituted w/ more black jelly. The sizes difference here is a tad smaller than other boba shops btw. But I figured the line was due to social distancing. Nope. We finally get to the front of the line and had to wait because they lost/never received an online order. Instead of one of the employees filling the order and one taking our order, they both worked on filling the other order. I was doing my Fort Worth food research yesterday when I came across an article on Spoon University talking about The Purple Taro (I also heard it called TCU Oreo) and that I had to have it before I died. Well after my yoga this morning, I kept thinking about it. So off I went! I've been to Fruitealicious before and have had average boba. Today though, I really enjoyed the Purple Taro. The guy that helped me was super friendly. I have never encountered any of their workers that didn't ask about your day. Sidenote: I am a weird kind of lactose intolerant. I can't have heavy cream or milk, but I can have yogurt, cheese, etc. The Purple Taro is made with milk but you can substitute it for Soy milk or yogurt. I didn't know about the yogurt substitution! I chose soy milk today for .50 cents extra. And with the yelp checkin, I got a free upgrade to a large. My total was $4.85 He served me the drink and made sure I liked it, otherwise he would remake it. I thought I would barely taste the oreo because I saw him only put two oreos in there, but it was the perfect amount! About half way through the drink, I started to think that it would be a thicker consistency if I had chose yogurt. If you want more of a milkshake feel, go with the yogurt substitution. I will do that next time. Overall, a great experience at Fruitealicious. Spoon University did a great job recommending the Purple Taro. read more

Great selection of build your own milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies! They have tons of boba and jelly options, and it really is easy to find something for everyone here. The inside is super cute with board games and a very relaxed vibe, and the delivery (from UberEats) was surprisingly fast and still completely frozen! Not like the busy little boba places I'm used to in LA, the employees here will help you pick something fun that you really will enjoy :) I had the opportunity to pick boba for a few friends with very specific tastes and, to my surprised, everyone loved what they got! For someone who doesn't like too much sugar I really recommend the fruit chillers. The strawberry peach came with a not too sweet base, plenty of chunks of fruit, and nice chewy boba. The strawberry banana smoothie was a great option for anyone who doesn't usually like milk or fruit tea, and the strawberry popping boba converted my boyfriend from a hater to a boba lover! Their purple Oreo is great for kiddos, I can't get over that creamy taro. As for those of us who just LOVEEE some boba! I really enjoyed their aloe bits, different from the aloe jellies I'm used to but most definitely tasted more fresh. Their basic tapioca pearls were a solid 8/10, with a good firmness to chewiness ratio. Their rainbow jelly is much softer than I'm used to but I can't say I minded. If you enjoy fruit tea I really recommend the passion fruit green tea with 50-75% sweetness. The iced lemonades were different for a boba shop and actually fantastic! Absolutely delicious, the large wasn't large enough. First off, let me just say BLACK SUGAR MILK TEA!! The flavor was perrrrrrfect! I love that really strong black tea flavor, this was it! Came with Tri-fecta of flan, boba and grass jelly. I'm in love with this drink. I'm a big fan of drinks with extras, whether it's boba or jelly, etc., and this did not let me down. I like having all the different textures and having something come up the straw with each sip. I really enjoyed the silky pieces of flan and soft grass jelly along with chewy, slightly sweet boba, it was heaven in each sip. They give you options on sweetness, you can get half sweet or barely sweet and what not, this was a treat though so I kept it at original, which I felt was perfect. The flan wasn't as sweet as you'd think and the grass jelly has little to no sweetness, so everything balanced out well. Totally satisfied my dessert craving. Jon got the Horchata, which came with boba and flan. The horchata flavor was there, and the sweetness was more amped than the milk tea, but worked well. All the spices you find in horchata were present in this drink, almost overpowering, but not terribly so. Service was quick and the girl at the register was polite and friendly. Make sure you check in via Yelp to receive a free LG upgrade! Only downfall really was the fact it smelled a weeeeeeeee bit funky when we first walked in, kind of puts you off your appetite for a boba or anything, but not sure if this is a constant thing, or if we just caught 'me at a bad time and it isn't something that is typical. This is the only official boba tea establishment in the Fort Worth area. It's not just a restaurant that serves it, it's a boba tea drink stop! Been waiting for a place like this since I've been here (6 years ago). This place is really nice. The staff are really helpful and are extremely engaging at helping you understand the menu. There are so many options of boba tea combinations that I couldn't even imagine. This place is very well executed and their drinks are very flavorful and of high quality. Situated basically in the middle of the TCU neighborhood, it's a safe, high-traffic area that is great for taking a stroll once you have grabbed your drink from the place. Highly recommend a visit to this place if you are a boba tea fan or if you just want to try something other than smoothie king.
