Wow...! This place got me speechless. The staff here are so so kind, they explain every little steps with you with smile. The place is super cozy with nice subtle music. This was my second time coming here with a Groupon for an IPL. They didn't have my appointment down because they explained that on days they are closed (which are Fridays to Sundays!), their phone lines get forwarded to the Irvine location. However, when you call, the person who answers does not clarify this, so I assumed I was speaking with someone at the Buena Park location. Anyway, they still saw me regardless. I felt like the IPL was not through. If you want a second pass done, they charge you extra, so I declined. I felt like the first pass was not thorough at all, and only certain spots on my face were zapped rather than my whole face. The actual laser process probably took five minutes since it wasn't as thorough as some other places I have been. I didn't see any brown spots rise to the surface at all, but since I have done it several times in the last, I was told this would happen. However. The laser was prob also on a very low setting since it did not hurt at all. Usually, it hurts more with higher settings. Hey, no pain no gain! Anyway, I won't buy a Groupon again since it wasn't worth it, even for $69. My friend who went twice said they did a very hard sell with her the first time. I was glad they did not do that with me. I like the way how the staffs treat me. They're very friendly and the manager knows what she's doing. She oversees the whole process and gives you advise. I only had one session of acne laser treatment, i notice a slight result. It'a understandable given that they clearly explained to me that it would need some more sessions to see better results. I have some skin pigmentation and scarring and have gone back for a few toning laser treatments, along with their amazing facial, and my skin has improved dramatically. DON'T GO HERE. They were not very sterile (injector was unmasked), she filled outside my lip and put used PINK LIP GLOSS on me (that she grabbed from a cart nearby??) to try to show me that it wouldn't be noticeable. I had to straight up ask her to dissolve the area because she made a mistake after she tried blaming it on my lip anatomy and I had to ask someone else to take the lip gloss off me. They botched my Botox and now I'm frozen and I really just wanted a tiny bit of preventative Botox and to keep my movement. I can't move my eyebrows at all. The establishment was messy and sketchy and I should have turned around right when I got there. They try to hide their incompetence by doing face masks and "facials" while you're in there and giving "free gifts" which was in the form of extra Botox that I did not want in areas I did not approve and a bag of face masks that they made sure to tell me was a $20 value but free for me. I didn't even know they put Botox underneath the corners of my lips and used more units than they told me they used until days after when I asked for a list of exactly how much was used where. Then they said they gave it as a gift and that my consent was "implied." I'm furious and upset and I don't want anyone to ever have the experience I had. Don't go here. read more

It's kind of hard to say with this place. Acne facials are amazing, but expensive. And everything is about upselling. Like that $30 cream you put on my face is going to really help...costs you 5¢ probably.... Same thing with IPL and fraxel. Hard upsell and the treatment did NOTHING. And trust me, you can tell when fraxel has been done. The owner complains about Groupon prices...don't complain if you use then, just not professional.
