Below is the email I sent to the company to express my dissatisfaction with their service. After I sent it, I actually found MORE things to be upset about. For example: PERSONAL trash that the "cleaner" left behind (not trash that was already here). I have also included Zuriah's response, which as you can see, is abysmal. MY EMAIL TO THE CLEANER: Hi Zuriah, I just returned home and was able to inspect the basement. When I first received the cleaning receipt and saw that I was charged for 4 hours of work, I was extremely surprised and skeptical but wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. I typically do the cleaning myself, and it only takes me 45 minutes from start to finish. Given that I am very familiar with the space, I expect it to take strangers longer. However, I have previously hired another cleaner from Task Rabbit, and it took her one hour and fifteen minutes. When considering the 4-hours I was charged, my first thought was that you had misunderstood the task and actually cleaned my entire house, as that is typically the time it takes my regular cleaner to do the main floor, which includes 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a full kitchen and living room. After receiving your before/after pictures and confirming that you had, in fact, only cleaned the basement, I then thought that maybe you did a deep clean, which could potentially explain the long time frame. However, after coming home and inspecting the basement, that is clearly not the case. Spaces I would expect to be cleaned in a deep clean, such as the oven, the windows, and the refrigerator, were clearly untouched. In addition, surfaces that should've been cleaned in the most basic job were still dirty, such as the tables next to the beds. All of this is to say that I will be disputing the charge with Task Rabbit and filing a formal complaint with your cleaning company. I do expect to receive a refund for the services for which I was charged that were clearly not performed. My kitchen suffered water damage which lead to asbestos, and my family was without a functioning kitchen for three months. After repeatedly trying to get updates, I had to contact my insurance company for help and was ultimately assigned a new contractor to complete the work. During the project, Restoration 1's crew damaged the water line to my refrigerator, and despite reporting it, it was never repaired. I also objected to Restoration 1 receiving additional payment because of the poor quality of work and lack of service. To my knowledge, the insurance check was cashed without my endorsement, I discovered the check had been desposted without my signature which was required. Overall, this experience caused unnecessary stress for me and my family. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should know the lack of communication service, and poor customer service, and unresolved issues we experienced. Kathy K

They just picked up the contaiminated cabinets they left outside today - OVER 3.5 months later. Critical instructions from mold inspectors to remove baseboards were ignored, and they sprayed them instead without informing me, despite my severe mold toxicity, autoimmune issues, and chemical intolerance. Spraying baseboards is ineffective as it only addresses surface mold, leaving spores and roots behind. Proper removal was essential, but they chose to cut corners and did not communicate the change of scope to me. They failed three mold clearance tests, left holes in containment areas, and even claimed the job was complete with visible mold remaining. On top of that, they invoiced me for incomplete work / things that they never did like removal of the dishwasher (I did that). The chemicals they used have now contaminated my home, making it unlivable for me. I am a unique case with MCAS and chemical intolerances. I can't stay in the house without severe allergic reactions - the potent smell has made its way up 2 floors - its all in our clothes, furniture, carpets. There is now so much work to try to save this house and make it liveable. I'm working with another company to fix their mistakes, but the chances of fully resolving the issue are slim according to a remediation consultation that is experts in remediations for highly sensitive people. This experience has been devastating. I strongly caution anyone especially those with mold toxicity or chemical sensitivities to find a different company that will take your unique case into consideration by either following instructions, doing proper research, or following the mold inspectors recommendations (and communicating properly with the client). I would give 1 star but I am adding another because I do appreciate after they made this huge issue, they brought in a hydroxyl machine at no cost. Unfortunately, it did not solve the issue and I am still out of my house 3.5 months later.

Although they were busy with many other burst pipe cleanup calls due to the extreme cold weather we had just experienced, Chase was at our home within an hour of my initial call. He immediately put my mind at ease and developed a game plan to return things back to normal. Chase and Anthony visited each day for a week to check on progress, move equipment around and gave me updates along the way. They have great communication, always let me know when they would arrive and were absolutely amazing to work with every step of the way. After I had sent the the flooring selection they had attempted (possibly an honest oversight) to install lesser quality flooring in a completely different shade that I had sent them. Had I not caught it, it would have been in stalled. I was given multiple assurances that the project would be finished in time so that our tenant would not be homeless. Needless to say that deadline was not met 4 months after the water damage on a project that was not huge. Communication started great until we started to just be told what we wanted to hear without any follow through. I would not recommend working with this company at all.

Never late, never cancel, I always get a reminder text the day before. The work itself is very very good. My mother was a professional cleaner so my standards are high. They do a great job getting all the little nooks and crannies and have memorized where we like things. We have a few places we prefer not to be touched, and they always respect that.
