We were visiting Eastern Hancock High School for a volleyball tournament and had a couple of rounds off in between games. So, we looked for an ice cream store and found this hidden gem. The Reese's Peanut butter chunks in a hot fudge shake hit the spot. And, the chocolate marshmallow milk shake had a thickness and smoothness unparalleled by the big chain stores. Disappointed today. My Heath flurry had very little Heath in it. Unless I had known what I ordered, I would not have known it was Heath-my favorite candy bar. I do like the ice cream. So smooth and creamy, but I wanted Heath. I was telling my friend how great this place is. She ordered a couple of things they didn't have. Next she ordered the medium Butterscotch Flurry. She didn't like it at all. Those chips are waxy and stick to your mouth like glue. That was a bust. This could be a goldmine if run by the right people/person and hire workers that work with a smile. Will I go back? Time will tell, but if you drive through Knightstown, Indiana on HWA 40, keep an eye out for Frosty Boy. read more

Me and my daughter love this place. If you are driving through and see this place I highly recommend it. My favorite shake is peanut butter and banana and they always make it thick and delicious. The walking tacos are so delicious and perfect for a lunch snack. You can pair it with onion straws and really have a great lunch if I do say so. Either way whatever you order you won't be disappointed. read more

We visited Frosty Boy 2X this past weekend while in town for a wrestling tournament. I understand that point of view is everything- but we found the prices to be really low for the high quality! We had Flurries (like a DQ Blizzard but better) and double cheeseburgers. All were excellent and high quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly - it takes a little time cause everything is made to order- which makes it better. Overall our experiences were great! read more

The giant tenderloin is the thinist I've ever seen. Hot ham and cheese was burned and after asking twice to get it cut in half. They failed. Onion rings We're good. The place looked pretty dirty. We saw chunks of food on the floor I side the kitchen. As was barely pitti g out any cold air. Almost as cool as it was outside on an 86 degree day. Im guessing the icecream must be good. Didny try it . after I spent 14 dollars on two sandwiches a small drink and a very small order of onion rings. (6) won't be back. It took almost 20 minutes to get our lunch and it wasn't busy. read more

I have enjoyed Frosty Boy's tenderloins, ice cream cones and shakes for many years, but it has always had to be limited to an occasional treat due mainly to their prices. The quality of their food is very good but the portions given fail to justify the steep price. You could drive 4 miles to the Gas Grill Truck Stop by I-70 and get a tenderloin or fish sandwich nearly double its size with fries, cream of chicken soup and ice cream at a much cheaper rate. Their malts are good, and I've always enjoyed them. However, when chocolate malts only consist of some vanilla ice cream and Hershey's chocolate inside a relatively small foam cup, it's hardly worth the hefty price. The hand-dipped cones on the other hand are more reasonable, but once again, quality doesn't reflect on the price. Overall, it has a lot of sentimental value to those living in Knightstown. It's far from being a bad restaurant. Eventhough I feel robbed paying as much as I do (cash only btw), I'm always glad I made the trip there. Workers are friendly and it has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere. read more

This place is cute and simple and very affordable, in our opinion. We stopped by for lunch with family after church. The two women working knew what they were doing and were friendly and positive. We were surprised how long we had to wait for our food, but everything came out hot and at the same time. I had the baked spaghetti and garlic bread which was quite good. The burgers seemed a little small (but just right for the price) and they have crinkle cut fries. My aunt got a salad and it was also pretty small but she liked it. My husband really enjoyed his tacos. They have a ton of flavors of shakes, which is fun, and also some yummy looking chocolate, vanilla or twist soft serve ice-cream that you can have dipped. They only take cash or local checks, so come prepared. It's a small place with several booths. They also have a drive through. One thing to also keep in mind is that they don't have a public restroom, which is a bummer. But, overall, it was good! read more

Slower than any fast food place or frosty boy and the breaded tenderloin was low quality as was the bun and toppings which were not correct. No credit cards accepted. I will not be back. It is cheap on the menu but then the bill is higher than advertised. read more
