Froyo flavor and topping selectionns are amazing. However the service me and my group received was easily the most unwelcoming and aggressive customer service experience I have ever experienced. Upon entering the store, our group was greeted with a passive-aggressive energy by the employee. I also asked to get a second spoon, which I was told was "not allowed" due to company policy? Finally we were told the couches were meant for a maximum of 5 people each, which we listened to and followed. Then we were told that we had to leave the store for not following the rules about the couch? So we were told to wait outside in the pouring rain. Our group spent around $200 so I was extremely disappointed in the aggressive behavior we received during our stay. Went for $1 froyo/ shaved ice for Christmas in July and ended up paying $30 saw a lot of people leaving upset that they paid full price too since we didn't know they had specific cups for the $1 froyo since it wasn't set out. Wish they had the cups set out like their others, or mentioned in the sign that there were specific cups to use for the deal. After hiking the Lanikai Pillbox trail we decided to treat ourselves to a frozen yogurt. The Frozen Yogurt fulfilled our well earned craving. There were a number of different options, frozen yogurt and shave ice to choose from. We tried a few samples before deciding our flavors of frozen yogurt. I decided on 4 different ones. The pumpkin spice was yummy as the strawberry was. The pineapple was like eating a perfectly ripen one. I topped mine off with a few plump blueberries. My hiking friend really enjoyed hers as well. The staff member was friendly and instructed us on use. Place was clean inside, my only suggestion is clean the windows. I totally agree with other reviewers that said this is the most expensive frozen yogurt and not even that great. Its so hard to find frozen yogurt! With so many closing down there's not many options available. My girls loved Yogurt Land in HK, we'd go every week. Since it's closed I'm always looking for a replacement. I've taken them twice to Frost and both times I've regretted it. It's way over priced and really doesn't taste that great, we've been so underwhelmed. They have a very artificial taste to them. Delicious froyo which seems to be impossible to find. In town I saw none at the time we wanted it so I decided I was near the Pali turnoff so beautiful adventurous. Wow, I don't remember the last time I've been to a self service froyo place. Really enjoyed visiting here in the middle of a hot day. The froyo and toppings (I got strawberry/cookies and cream, and mochi/popping balls as toppings) was solid and hit the spot. There's a couple of small things that make this location unique. First, not only is there froyo, there's also self-service shaved ice! I didn't get to try it during my visit but nice to have that variety. They also have a small drink menu. Second, they've decorated the place nicely and makes it great to hang out here. There's a tv + couch to watch movies on, a play area for kids, and a table with an power outlet if you need to charge a device. The only difficulty was finding parking. The lot is small and shared with other businesses. The parking lots around it are specifically for the other businesses. I wish this place was cleaner. It starts when one enters the dirty glasses doors. I have never seen them clean no matter how early in the morning I arrive. The covers over the sofa's have stains on them. Anything stainless, like the napkin dispenser or the legs of the coffee table are loaded with finger prints and smudges. Isn't anyone assigned to clean up before closing at night? Fortunately where the toppings are kept is usually tidy, but given the low standards for cleanliness who knows what goes on behind the scenes. Sadly I think what is most telling is often the employees do not seem that busy. Can't they grab a clean rag and wipe some surfaces? When I see dirty workplaces like this it always makes me wonder what the employees homes look like. This biz had a decent selection of froyo flavors to choose from. From plain yogurt to strawberry, honey dew melon to thin mints, I left impressed by Frost's wide variety of flavors. This place is so awesome! We all had froyo & I tried the sypher coffee which were all amazing. Some of my favorite takeaways were the froyo flavors & topping selection - there must be 75 or more options, they have in-house hand-crafted syrups/juices (unfortunately I didn't see them until after my froyo) and several coffee choices - the "sypher coffee" is a very unique, must try experience & makes enough for 2. The sitting area is comfortable & there's a couple places for the kids to hang out which is a HUGE PLUS for parents for sure! The friendly, helpful staff shared their aloha and treated us to the "sypher coffee" demo and we had the honor of meeting the thoughtful, master-mind behind the creation of this well-thought-out establishment!
