Jessica was AMAZING. She was so attentive, supportive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire appointment. Nikki, the owner, was also extremely attentive over email and made booking my appointment so easy. Her responsiveness and warmth set the tone before I even walked through the door. One of the things I loved most was how intimate the space felt. We had the whole shop to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. I was able to bring my mom, my fiancé's mom and sister, my cousins and aunts, and a close friend from my bridal party. It was the perfect, private setting to soak in such a meaningful moment. Love Theory made saying "yes" to the dress unforgettable. I'm so grateful for Jessica and Nikki for creating such a warm, personal, and memorable experience.

One of the higher-up employees was speaking very disrespectfully to the seamstress right in front of customers, which was really uncomfortable to witness. I arrived for my scheduled 11:00 appointment to simply pick up the dress--nothing needed to be done--but I was told I would have to come back at 5:00 to get it. They also never called me when the dress came in. Earlier in the process, they told me I needed to find my own seamstress for alterations, so I arranged that on my own. Then, because they didn't have my dress in on time, they suddenly told me they could "fit me in" with their seamstress instead. The whole situation felt very disorganized and frustrating. Overall, the customer service was poor and the experience was far more stressful than it should have been for something as important as a wedding dress. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Interesting, it was pulled by one of the gals would thought it would look great on me, and it did. I tried on more to make sure my feeling was right, but went back into the first dress. I purchased my dress, veil, belt and earnings from the store. All within my budget! Even though I live in the city, I commuted in so Kathy could work with me on the alternations. This woman is a miracle worker!! We had some challenges with the dress fit given my bust, and Kathy worked with me to built it up, and she ended up designing custom lace straps which turned my gown couture :-) The lace matched the dress perfectly, and she even mirrored the beading. My family and friends agreed the new design was perfect and seemed like it was always meant to be. Each and every visit was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, and worked to accommodate my schedule given I was coming in from the city. Kathy even came in on a day off and stayed late, true class an customer service. I couldn't recommend the store enough. It was beautiful and memorable.

You can tell they are really passionate about bridal, it made the whole experience much better. One thing I loved about the women working there is how dedicated they are to each bride. I would stop by to just look at "my" dress and every time- whether it was packed or just myself in the shop, their attention & friendliness to the client never changed. Catherine Simms was the last shop I visited, so I was worried about ordering my dress just months from the wedding but everyone at the shop always assured me the dress would arrive on time- and it did. I always felt welcomed and calm after talking to one of the ladies, they went above and beyond to make my dream dress a reality. They had a large variety of dresses and all women were very knowledgeable about prices, alterations, shipping dates, etc. They also have an alteration woman who works with their shop that did an amazing job altering my dress to fit me perfectly. I had a very specific vision for my dress and she nailed it!!!! I got my veil there as well, this is a one stop shop; I would definitely recommend this shop to all brides looking for bridal gowns, as well as other wedding attire!!! Consider a different shop when looking for a wedding dress. After bringing my dress home from the…read moreshop I noticed multiple blood stains on different layers in different spots of the entire dress. When I called to express my concern, I was told they "inspected every layer" and it wasn't like that when it was in their possession. However, some of the blood is on the back side of lace appliques, and the layer of fabric between my body and the appliqué is not bloody, which leads me to believe it was stained during the making of it. Instead of apologizing, offering to pay for dry cleaning, etc., I was instantly blamed for something that I did not do. Moreover, I had an issue of ordering a lined gown and paying for a lined gown, but receiving an unlined gown. The store so graciously refunded the difference between unlined and lined versions, but the refunded amount doesn't cover alterations to make it lined. I loved the entire process of buying a gown from here, but am horribly dissatisfied and disappointed with their professionalism and overall attitude.

When I finally got helped we were told to pull what I wanted to try on so my MOH became the worker instead of them. My sales associate was completely unhelpful, disinterested & awkward compared to the other associate (who we are basically on top of because the place is super small). I would avoid this place if you are wedding dress shopping. Planning a wedding and coordinating…read morewith vendors is already a stressful enough experience as is. So when you come across a vendor that you wanted to work with, but they are terrible at communication, it's time to cut your losses and pick another one who is going to make your planning easier, not harder. Over the course of 5 weeks, I had messaged this store 4 times to ask if they had one specific wedding dress in store and if so, could I schedule an appointment to try it on. I also tried calling but never got anyone to pick up the phone. Not once did this store bother to respond to my original message via their portal or any of my follow up emails to the email address listed on their website. I understand that they must get a lot of inquiries and sorting thru messages probably would take a while. But still no response after over a month is far too long and literally shows that they are unprofessional and really don't care. Also charging a bride $50-100 just to try-on in stock wedding dresses is wild for this level of a boutique. I have paid fees so that a specific loaner dress could be shipped to a store if they don't have it in stock, and I absolutely have no issue with that. But changing a bride to try on dresses you have already in store is just ridiculous, tacky and not common in the area for this boutique's price point.
