After bringing my dress home from the…read moreshop I noticed multiple blood stains on different layers in different spots of the entire dress. When I called to express my concern, I was told they "inspected every layer" and it wasn't like that when it was in their possession. However, some of the blood is on the back side of lace appliques, and the layer of fabric between my body and the appliqué is not bloody, which leads me to believe it was stained during the making of it. Instead of apologizing, offering to pay for dry cleaning, etc., I was instantly blamed for something that I did not do. Moreover, I had an issue of ordering a lined gown and paying for a lined gown, but receiving an unlined gown. The store so graciously refunded the difference between unlined and lined versions, but the refunded amount doesn't cover alterations to make it lined. I loved the entire process of buying a gown from here, but am horribly dissatisfied and disappointed with their professionalism and overall attitude.

One of the higher-up employees was speaking very disrespectfully to the seamstress right in front of customers, which was really uncomfortable to witness. I arrived for my scheduled 11:00 appointment to simply pick up the dress--nothing needed to be done--but I was told I would have to come back at 5:00 to get it. They also never called me when the dress came in. Earlier in the process, they told me I needed to find my own seamstress for alterations, so I arranged that on my own. Then, because they didn't have my dress in on time, they suddenly told me they could "fit me in" with their seamstress instead. The whole situation felt very disorganized and frustrating. Overall, the customer service was poor and the experience was far more stressful than it should have been for something as important as a wedding dress. We were walking downtown and came across this place, and although it said "by appointment" on the door, they were happy to accommodate us on the spot. The young girl with dark hair was able to help us look at all shades and options for the grooms side and had much cheaper rates than other places we had looked. The tux rentals are itemized instead of one flat rate, so I'm still unsure if it'll be cheaper in the end but we loved the convenience and that we could shade match dresses at the same store for an all in one experience for ease and peace of mind that we'll match. She let me know that any dress I found in the area could be shade matched to the best man, and I found the perfect dress at only $160! I did find it weird that I'm usually a size 0-2 and the dress that fit was a size 6, but they were awesome at getting me alteration recommendations and assisting with me being out of state. They got the bride all set up with everyone's information so they could stop in whenever and pick out their dresses and get sized. They made it beyond easy for us to handle our outfits and with the wedding less than three months out, thank gourd for their ability to rush and keep it relatively inexpensive! I would honestly consider coming here for my wedding based on my experience as the maid of honor alone.

Interesting, it was pulled by one of the gals would thought it would look great on me, and it did. I tried on more to make sure my feeling was right, but went back into the first dress. I purchased my dress, veil, belt and earnings from the store. All within my budget! Even though I live in the city, I commuted in so Kathy could work with me on the alternations. This woman is a miracle worker!! We had some challenges with the dress fit given my bust, and Kathy worked with me to built it up, and she ended up designing custom lace straps which turned my gown couture :-) The lace matched the dress perfectly, and she even mirrored the beading. My family and friends agreed the new design was perfect and seemed like it was always meant to be. Each and every visit was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, and worked to accommodate my schedule given I was coming in from the city. Kathy even came in on a day off and stayed late, true class an customer service.
