I had my hair cut by Shelley. She was extremely friendly and really listened to me when I explained what I wanted and needed done for my hair. Then by all means try this throwback to the days of gossipy backroad salons. She did an amazing job with my two kids shaping cuts to match their curl patterns and personal styles. My long time stylist, Isabelle, just began working in this. There is no receptionist at this quaint shop which is situated in a charming house on Main Street. One needs to announce oneself if they are new and unknown. That aside, Isabelle has performed miracles with my hair. She is one of the rare stylist that can do both cut and color excellently. This seems subjective. However, I can not count the number of times a woman has stopped me on the street, in Retail Stores, at work or various other places to ask where I get my hair done. This is not just the day of the appointment but weeks after. She's that good! I love this place. Everyone is kind and friendly. I got my hair bleached and dyed purple by Isabelle (who is super nice and did a great job). Isabelle is a great person to talk too, and very talented in my opinion. Although she just trimmed the dead ends of my hair, she did did a good job, and my hair is curly (I only got it cut at a salon once before and it didn't go very well. Let's just say they didn't know how to cut curly hair like Isabelle did). She gave me lots of helpful tips for my hair type and maintaining the color, which I'm thankful for.
