I read the other reviews about Monster Moving and had a totally different experience. I moved from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas area to Denver Colorado. This was my first out of state move and I researched and requested many estimates. Lauren from Monster Moving was the first to contact me and she was amazing. She was very helpful and answered all questions and concerns. She always called me back. I had narrowed it down to 3 companies all with similar bids but went with Monster Moving because of Lauren. They kept me updated, were there on the first day of my moving window and pack everything so well. Because I lived in a gated apartment complex they used a box truck to pick up and transferred to a semi. The company called me when the semi was headed to Colorado. I got my items 5 days later! There was some crushed boxes due to the transferring from truck to truck. (They had to in Colorado too). All the movers were great and treated me well. My only reason for 4 stars is the confusion on the final payment and how it was handled. They need to be c!earer on it. Overall though I was very happy using Monster Moving. read more

After contract was signed the representatives became very unprofessional and threatened to cancel my move days before scheduled.Majority of my furniture was damaged. Got a low quote only to get a follow-up call that raised it another $300. Then handed off to some local movers that were Russian and only one spoke English when I asked questions.Before they began to load I was told I have more than they expected and was going to be charged more. BUT if I gave him a LARGE cash tip he wouldn't charge me more. And I had to pay cash or money order for pick up and delivery. Avoid Frontier Moving Services at All Costs - Bait and Switch Tactics and Zero Accountability Do not use Frontier Moving Services. This is hands down the most dishonest, disorganized, and frustrating company I've ever dealt with. My experience was a textbook case of bait and switch pricing. After completing a mandatory FMCSA virtual tour and the "quality assurance" call they insisted was required, Frontier tripled the originally quoted price. That's right -- over 3x the initial quote, after I had already paid a deposit and taken the time to document all items clearly. Their salesperson, Kyle, made endless promises: that the quote was accurate, that he'd personally be available throughout the process, that my items would be picked up on the 29th (weather permitting), and that communication would be seamless. None of those promises were kept. Kyle disappeared, and I was left in the dark. Worse, they didn't even complete the virtual review until the actual day the movers were supposed to arrive -- completely nullifying its purpose and setting me up for a last-minute upcharge. Nathaniel lied to us, claiming that the cubic feet they were selling would be enough for a two‑bedroom apartment. We were also told that they handled the moving themselves and would deliver within 2 days since it was only a 10‑hour drive. I happened to have to cancel my move so they took my deposit, that's okay. I asked for that to be waived as Erik, the representative told me they're a service company, if they don't do the service they'll give me back the money and didn't advice me on the deposit refund policy. it's in my contract, that's okay. When I called several times to try to understand my options and problem solve, I got Michelle and Heather treating me incredibly disrespectful and not problem solving, of course. Not letting me talk and incredibly condescending and passive aggressive. Heather even mocked me saying " Miss lawyer you should've read your contract". And I can go on. I got a quote for half of my previous company and this is just a way of getting costumers under contract and after that movers showed up two days late and late in the afternoon but they started wrapping all my furniture and took it outside my house after that they said that for the original quote they couldn't load most of my items in the truck because it was already to the square feet that I agreed so If I wanted all my items in the truck the price will go up like 5k or they will unwrapped my furniture and just leave it on the street so all of this showing up late is already planned and I will never recommend Frontier and any of they affiliated partners to anyone for moving at all . read more

I was scammed by this company! They are not even registered with the BBB and I have read online that they have a suspended license. They pushed me off to we haul Moving Company in care of Rachel and I was bullied, harassed and belittled upon pick up. They tried to swindle more money from me so I told him to leave, they will not give me a refund. Do not use this company. We were initially quoted $3900 to move from Colorado to New Mexico. Not a tough move by any standards. They will lie to you as long as they get that first deposit at which point you have no choice. When it came time to have their "assurance guaranteed" call, based on what we told them, our price jumped to over $5000 and they wanted 40% up front even though I had already put down the initial payment (which was roughly 35%). Fine, we had no choice and the guy I spoke with was anything but helpful. He couldn't articulate why the initial payment was 35% and now they wanted 40%. The math was just not making sense. The day of pick up came and all of the sudden they didn't have enough room and the quote jumped to over $8,000. We grinned and said fine. I mean they were already there picking our stuff up. That was August 4. They initially said that our stuff would be delivered in between 1-10 days. Today is August 15th and we still do not have our stuff. I get a call from them today and they tell me my stuff is coming tomorrow. To boot, we don't get a discount for our stuff being grossly late and she tells me over the phone that they reserved the right to be 5-15 days after the initial delivery date which was August 7. Long story short, the contract means nothing. They change it how they see fit and when they see fit. I wish I had known about this company's practices before I signed. Do not make the same mistake! Worst experience of my life moving. Picked up my stuff in California May 1, was not delivered in Florida until July 4th. In between, all my stuff sat in 3 different warehouses in 3 states, where someone went through all of my boxes and stole whatever they wanted. They stole11 fishing reels worth close to 3 grand, my entire coin collection worth thousands, and 2 tackle boxes full of lures, a cat carrier, and ironing board. They destroyed numerous heavy duty plastic tubs. Smashed all of my glazed pottery pots for large plants. My daughter moved to NY recently, and selected Monster Moving LLC to move her household goods (HHG) from storage in Burbank, CA to Brooklyn, NY. She packed her HHG neatly in 31 new boxes. Her items were picked up for transport in June, and they were not only delivered a month and a half later, but upon delivery, 26 boxes were destroyed. Most of the furniture was broken or dirty because it was delivered without proper protection, most of the glassware was broken, and there were a significant number of personal goods missing from the boxes, which were squashed and ripped open during the move. Monster Moving LLC charged her $5,954 USD for these services. It will cost over $3,000 to replace or repair her HHGs. In our multiple years of military moves, we have never had such a horrible experience. To say that we are dissatisfied with the services provided by Monster Moving LLC is an understatement. I do not know if my daughter will ever get compensated for her losses, but I can only hope that whomever reads this does not conduct business with this company which SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. Not sure I mentioned in my original review, but my move was originally quoted at $2100 & it was $3300 the day they showed up. Not a slight increase, but a rather large one! It appears they have added their own positive reviews on their BBB page, which is even more deceiving. The complaints have specific details about what went wrong while the "positive" reviews don't say anything other than how great of a company they are. Since my last update, it has taken 30 business days for me to receive my belongings. They were damaged, broken and yes some were missing. Also, they did not put everything back together that they took apart when they picked up my belongings. The level of service from Monster Mover and the agent Movers on the Way & Storage was horrible. For all of the items lost and damaged which includes two Christmas trees, I received a total of $150. This will not replace all of the items that need were damaged by the move. THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER - DO NOT BOOK! I have moved internationally, domestic cross-country and locally before, and I have never worked with such an appallingly unprofessional company. Here is the summary of my experience: · Movers did not show up on the day they were supposed to despite paying extra to secure a guaranteed specific move-out date. · Movers damaged the walls and scratched the floors. Needless to say, the glass top arrived in pieces. · Unprofessional service o One representative told me to "call the police" because I asked for written confirmation on claims filing procedures. o Movers charged an arbitrary $1,000 extra to change delivery address without explaining how they arrived at that amount even though the new address was less than 50 miles away. Horrible experience. It is still upsetting to think about and this list only covers a few of the many transgressions: They hire contractors who are incompetent. Not one single actual employee attended any part of my pick up or delivery. The contractors came from Craigslist. They were not professional or experienced movers. At pick up they didn't bring tools despite scheduled furniture disassembly. It added hours to an already long day. They do not provide relevant information at multiple stages of the process. The moving team were unprepared and unaware of what I had spent weeks scheduling and outlining. They didn't even have the information I had provided about the buildings and where to park. Starting on the day of pick up, all communication from the office stops. They won't answer emails or voicemails. If you get one of them on the phone they claim not to know anything and refuse - outright refuse - to send any information in writing. When things go seriously wrong - no response. I read every word of the contract and issues came up not covered in it. Their response was silence. Furthermore a male employee of this woman-owned business violently verbally abused and threatened me when I questioned a change to the terms outlined in the contract. What is the point of the contract if on the day of the move they insist on doing things differently than what the contract explicitly states? And to violently threaten and scream at a woman - beyond the pale. Clearly it is an outright lie that the female owner of this company provides anything resembling service or care to clients. When this abuse was reported, a false apology was given by some female operations employee who acted put out to have to deal with this and nothing was done to remedy the damage. It was traumatizing to have been abused by a man and have women brush it off. Following delivery, one of the contractors took my personal phone number without permission and started texting me after the move trying to get me to send him money and claiming the check I provided didn't work. (It was perfectly good.) The company did nothing to assure me this was taken care of and just said don't respond to him. That creep is probably still working for them and probably still trying to scam people. He finally cashed that check a full month after receiving it - and yes, it was perfectly good for the money. I could write 3x more if thinking back on how badly I was treated didn't cause such stress and upset. What an awful experience! They moved my apartment from Long Beach, CA to NJ. It took them 7 weeks. I repeat. 7 weeks! They tell you they are legally allowed 30 business days to deliver your stuff. It took them 37 business days and not even a sorry. They lost some of my things and sent other peoples things to me instead. They OPENED my boxes and things were stolen from me. Like seriously? They didn't even try to hide it. The tape on my boxes were cut with a blade. I used duct tape to tape the boxes, they were cut open and then resealed with a single layer of clear tape. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Read below for entire story. Short version - I paid 6k to have over 3k lost in transit or destroyed. Worst moving experience. I am reporting them to every business bureau I can. I booked my cross-country move with Monster Moving LLC on 6/16/21. I set my pickup date for 6/23/21 in Los Angeles, CA and I was told that the arrival estimate in Brooklyn, New York would be 4-21 days from the first available date of delivery, which was 7/1/21. I called periodically through the month of July to check on the status of my move. I spoke with Leah Geller and a manager named Pauline. I was continuously told my items were stuck in a warehouse in Dallas, Texas and there was no update on the next truck driver coming to the East Coast. As the move approached the LEGALLY allowed 30 business days, I was continuously met with excuses and lies as to when my items were getting picked up from Dallas, TX. When my items finally made it to New York on 8/16/21, it had been 4 days beyond the legally allowed 30 business days. I was called by the movers who had been contracted to do my delivery, and was told that over 90% of my things had been damaged. In addition to the damage, my boxes were mixed with an entirely separate person's personal move. The New York movers had to guess which items were mine and delivered the following day. The gentleman doing my delivery made it very clear that in his 20 years of experience, he had never seen items more destroyed than mine were. The itemized list of my property was labeled wrong, so I could not verify that all of my boxes that had arrived were the same number of boxes that left Los Angeles. The condition that my boxes arrived in, was appalling. Almost every single box was re-taped because they had been crushed by excessive weight and were splitting open from all sides. Large items like coffee tables and dressers that I had not wrapped myself were completely destroyed. My dresser was crushed, the legs were sinking because of the weight put on it, as well as the hinges being completely ripped off and irreparable. My bookshelf shelving was entirely broken and beyond repair. My outdoor cement table came with three of the four legs broken off. The couch that I made sure to wrap in plastic wrap, came back with black stains and the fabric ripped. In addition to my damaged furniture, invaluable fragile items were treated with no regard despite being labeled fragile. Decor items, ceramics that have been in my family for decades, and valuables collected during travels were shattered. If all of this weren't beyond disheartening, to make matters worse, deeply sentimental items are missing. Childhood photographs, photography I've collected, and jewelry are gone. A large turquoise clay pottery that has been in my family for over 3 decades is lost. I am heartbroken for these items that meant so much to me. I feel as if I have been so understanding through this entire ordeal, and I've tried to keep my patience. But outside of the New York based moving company that physically delivered my things, this experience has been a total nightmare. Monster Moving LLC should not be allowed to continue their business. In the time I have waited for my items, there have been a number of public complaints regarding the exact same experience I am going through. Horrible moving experience: not only showed up a day late but came at the end of the day with a truck that was too small, so they had to return yet another day, causing us to rearrange all of our travel plans. More than doubled the original estimate and charged my daughter over $1000 for packing materials when we packed everything ourselves except the TVs, which were in the contract. Rude and unsympathetic customer service rep informed us that my daughter had to pay an additional 15% (85% as opposed to the 70% stipulated in the contract) before they would even put the shipment on a truck for the interstate move. While we had no choice but to capitulate to this extortionary tactic, they were still vague about when our shipment would even get on the road. Customer service person referred us to the company president/co-founder "Ann" whose last name is neither on the website nor her LinkedIn profile. Told us to call her once a week for progress reports. Would only communicate by phone, ignoring all emails or texts so as not to have any electronic record. ​This horrible company picked up my house items on 7/29 in CA and was to deliver to CO within 14 days. They delivered late on 8/15- received text on 8/13 they would deliver on 8/14, we were ready but they didn't come until 8/15! I was overcharged thousands of dollars (quoted $4500, paid $7895 on 8/4/2021) and they tried to get a shuttle fee of additional $1200 but the movers told me to refuse because the truck was not a 'shuttle'. Every large item was completely demolished or extremely damaged beyond repair. The company promised door to door service but instead loaded and unloaded my items in warehoused multiple times and broke everything. The subcontracted company is called 'FebEx' which is fishy in itself. There was practically zero customer service available when I called the company repeatedly. If anyone answered I was told they were busy and would call me back but they never called back. The person, Lauren, who took my order had her phone disconnected after my items were picked up and I could never call her back to ask questions. The person, Shai, in charge of deliveries would never return my calls and is who tried to get additional $1200 for shuttle that was not a shuttle. I was offered $97 compensations for these demolished items, Dining room pedestal table/chairs, antiques (bed, end table, lamps), 2 bookshelves, entire box of Polish Pottery, kid's bed, kid's kitchen, 2 cubby shelves, Large canvas family photo, missing hardware/boxes/vacuum/etc. The contract indicates damages are paid $0.60lb. I was offered $97 for over 1000lbs of damage. I feel the exorbitant amount of damage to my family's belongings, terrible service, overcharging, lying about shuttle, etc. warrants full refund of the $7894.37 paid; however I would be happy with at least $1000 to compensate these physical damages not to mention the mental and emotional turmoil this experience has caused us. read more

I hired monster movers to move me from Illinois to Florida. Upon delivery of my furniture it was delivered with 2 other moves and and there was only one person, the driver, a small elderly man that did not speak English. I had to talk into his phone so it would translate it to Spanish. I had to help him unload the truck. They damaged my end table And lost 4 canvas paintings. Nobody seems to know where the paintings are, they have offered me $50 for $400 worth of paintings. I paid a $115 for them to pack the paintings.. Worst company ever... do not hire! read more

The one star is for monster moving actually picking up/ delivering my goods. How they did it.. that's the million dollar question. Here are the reasons why I would never choose Monster Moving LLC 1.) The movers held my boxes/ stuff hostage unless I paid them an extra $700.00 because what was quoted/ paid didn't include that they had to move my stuff to a smaller truck. Unless I paid this, then I could get my things. 2.) Numerous things were broken upon arrival. One to mention was a 55" 4k TV. Some things were also missing. 3.) we submitted a claim immediately and it took them 2.5 months to get back to a response. The response is that we will receive $30.00 for damages. Its like how do you come up with this number? You broke my 1K TV, charged me an extra $700.00 plus all the missing items/ broken items and that will be $30.00 take it or leave it MR. 4.) The delivery was the worst experience. Not until I called. They told me they would be delivering the next day from 8-10am. They had me waiting all day with a million excuses of why they are not on time charging me an extra $700.00. Movers didn't come till 4:30PM. ITs like change your plans, movers are coming tomorrow from 8-10am... Wait lets make them burn a Sunday waiting on them. knowing Monster Moving doesnt open on Sunday to charge them. Monster Moving LLC took 6 weeks to deliver our property!!! The entire 30 business days they allow themselves per their contract. It has now been an additional 5 weeks (11 weeks in total!!) that they have had our riding lawnmower and refuse to deliver it. Monster Moving charged us an additional handling fee for our riding lawnmower. Our pickup was scheduled for 4/8/21. They didn't show up until 4/9/21 and were not able to finish loading in one day which then required us to ask the new owners to wait an additional day to move in. The riding lawnmower was loaded along with everything else. We were told by Natalie that our items would be delivered in 4-21 days. After 3 weeks, we called to get an update and were told it was 4-21 business days. We then learned they actually had up to 30 business days to deliver our things. We began calling and emailing for updates and would not get responses, would get put on hold for 30+ minutes and hung up on, or told they didn't know. On 5/18/21 we received a phone call from the driver letting us know that he would not be bringing our riding lawnmower because he believed there was still some fuel in it. He also told us they would need an addition $4800 for shuttles because, according to google maps, he wouldn't be able to drive the truck down our street. We have pictures of 52' tractor trailer trucks going down our street and up and down our driveway. We also had the power lines raised weeks before the delivery just to be proactive. Our things were delivered on 5/21/21, the 30th business day. Six full weeks after picking our things up. On 5/18/21 we began calling, emailing, and texting Monster Moving to find out when we would be getting our riding lawnmower. We were first told that it would be delivered on the next truck coming to Florida. It has now been over 5 weeks since we were first told it would be delivered on the next truck. We have sent 14 emails, countless voicemails and texts, been ignored, hung up on, and told they don't know what to tell us. We paid in full for the entire move, including the additional handling of the riding lawnmower, and now -11 weeks- from the date it was picked up, we still do not have it. Our last conversation with Ann was begging for a resolution where she told us to send an email requesting payment for the lawnmower in lieu of it being delivered. We sent that email 6/17/21 and have heard nothing since. We have called, emailed, begged, and pleaded to get our riding lawnmower back from them. We live on property that absolutely requires mowing and have gone almost 3 months without our lawnmower due to Monster Moving. Ann has told us that the lawnmower is sitting in their warehouse in Thornton, Colorado. We need to get our lawnmower back or be reimbursed so that we can purchase a new one. They can not just keep it and continue ignoring us. This does not include all of the items that were damaged and broken. Most boxes were crushed and damaged, as well as many being opened and retaped using different tape. If you are ok waiting months for your items and having zero communication from them as to where your property is, go ahead and hire them. Otherwise, I would absolutely not use this company read more
