However, since I had a good experience with them before, through a broker, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I finally got ahold of a woman named, LYNN. She gave me some SORRY EXCUSE about how the prices have nearly doubled and she can't help me. First saying she could help me, then finally saying no, minutes before hanging up. I ended up getting extremely FRUSTRATED, by the outcome. In the end I DECIDED TO GO WITH MONTWAY. A broker. It may have saved me $200-$300, but my time is worth more than that.

My car got here within the original window and undamaged. Prices were fair- moving from Arizona to Minnesota for $1,000. I'm giving 3 stars because the communication throughout the process was really not good and I was often left totally in the dark. A few days before my car was to be picked up, They told me it would be picked up Monday. They didn't show up so I called to ask. They said they'd be there Tuesday. They didn't show up. When I tried to ask what was going on, they just said they were within their original window and were not apologetic. The same issues happened upon pick up. They missed a few windows and then, with my car less than an hour away for 1.5 days, said it was because the driver could not deliver ANY cars that day due to some regulations. Then the driver contacted me to say he wouldn't deliver to me because he had too many deliveries that day. Kim in the main office was AMAZING and probably the only helpful person I talked to the entire time I was going through this. Everyone else was condescending and not apologetic because they were within that original window.

Just to see, I spent a day calling around for quotes. Some places wanted nearly $300/hr plus a long laundry list of hidden fees, and I thought there was no way it was worth it. But the last company I called was Sterling Interstate, and wow--what a breath of fresh air. We had already dealt with a lot of stress while closing on our first home, and we just needed a reliable team to cross the finish line. The moving industry doesn't always have the best reputation, so I was praying they'd be good--and they turned out to be the absolute best. Not only is their hourly rate very fair for the quality of work, but they also don't hit you with random fees. My husband and I had our home 95% packed and stacked, leaving them to navigate moving everything down a flight of stairs and prepping/packing the larger furniture. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we were blown away: they wrapped and packed everything like it was going cross-country! Even knowing it was only a 15-minute drive, they took zero chances with damage, and everything arrived completely untouched. I am terrible with names, so I've already forgotten the exact crew who came out, but they were AMAZING. On a brutally hot and humid July day in Arizona, they hustled nonstop for 6.5 hours. They took necessary breaks, but they worked so hard, all while cracking jokes with us and keeping the mood light. By the time they left, it felt like saying goodbye to old friends. Pro tip: If you hire movers in the AZ summer, please be kind--offer them cold water, sports drinks, and maybe some Rice Krispies Treats to keep them going! I have a used car dealership in Los Angeles as well as in Pheonix, and I recently purchased five cars from different sellers, and I needed them transported from Pheonix to Los Angeles. Pheonix Auto Shipping is the only company that agreed to do the delivery for a bargain of a price, and they delivered on their promise. I am so happy I found these guys, they delivered the vehicles so quick that I even had a chance to sell them to the prospective buyers before the date agreed upon. I added one the drivers on Snapchat, and he sent me photos updates all along the way including the unloading (which I think all companies should do) that put my mind to ease knowing everything was ok and I was able to carry business on without having to worry about my investments. My cars are like my children, and I am very overprotective over them especially my Gallardo. I had to do a lot of research on which company I should pick that would help me with this long-distance move because I didn't want to put mileage on the cars.
