We hired auto transport team to move our two cars from California to Texas. I contacted them months in advance to arrange the transportation and initially my feelings were positive. They were prompt in responding to emails and their prices and timetable were very competitive compared to the competition. However as our move day approached, they were unable to pin down a time for our pick up. We would be getting on a plane on Sunday morning to move to Texas, and as of Friday afternoon, they still did not know when our cars would be picked up. Finally, it became apparent that they would not be able to pick up our cars prior to our leaving, and it would be up to us to find a way to find a safe place to store the cars and to get the keys to the driver. Luckily the dealer where we bought our cars was willing to hold them for a few days free of charge on their back lot. Worse yet, the representative we had been working with was out of the office and no one at auto transport team was willing or able to help. When i called on monday to chew out the rep, he claimed that he did not know we were leaving town and acted as if it were my fault for the miscommunication (despite the entire email chain being preserved and re-sent to them). Worse yet, they made no effort to acknowledge the stress and inconvenience of their dropping the ball. We were then made to feel lucky that the cars would be delivered at all, nearly a week after they had initially been promised. I'm not sure if the problem was with the person I was working with or if the whole organization is not equipped to deal with individuals (i.e. not car dealerships), but I would advise anyone to consider looking elsewhere for their auto transport needs. read more

Auto Transport is based out of Arizona, and easily handled my shipment. After calling on the general line, I got connected with Brittney who specialized in the route leading from AZ to CA! She kept us up to date and provided constant feedback on info along the way. When it came to pickup time, they provided a close location and the driver Ivan, kept us updated along the way. The 9:30 AM pickup time couldn't be more accurate. I needed to ship my son's car from New York to San Diego and I did the online quote. I got bombarded by probably 30-40 callers and emails, texts etc. Their quotes ranged from $975 to to $1400 and two in the $1800-2400 range. I would talk to people and then I would check reviews to find out the horror stories. Then I googled on company's phone number and found out they were using several names for their company etc. I was just about to go with someone with a price quote of $1050, when a friend of mine said he had an auto wholesaler who always had his cars shipped from auctions that he had bid on. I phoned him and he gave me the name of John Hasper with Auto Transport Team at # 1- 623-327-3700 Ext 110. I phoned him, game him the info, he called me back with a quote of $1275. I called my buddy again and asked him about ATT again since their quote was about a little higher, but my friend said, " Hey they are pros". He was not pushy, very professional and did not require any monies to be paid until they found a driver. I signed the agreement, two days later he called that they had a driver, I paid online with an electronic check (saves a little money by not using a cr card) and 8 days later my car was at my front door. It would have been 7 days, but we were out of town. From the time that I booked them, I had peace of mind, my son did not have to move his care 3 times per day while working and in the middle of the night. I recently purchased a vehicle from a dealership in Chandler AZ and needed it shipped to my home in Albuquerque. I paid the dealership and they arranged the transport,I have never shipped a vehicle before so I wasn't sure to expect but I shortly received an email from the company with my shipping details. The email also said the driver was going to call me prior to arrival so I could let them know where I wanted the vehicle to be delivered. I tasked my the dealership with letting me know when the vehicle was picked up. Pick up day came and I didn't hear from anyone, later in the evening I asked my salesperson for an update, he checked and was told the truck was delayed so the pick up date was now the following day. I understand there are delays due to weather or unforeseen circumstances but at least let me know when things change. Anyway, I said ok (didn't have a choice), just let me know when it's picked up. The car was picked up late the next day so I assumed it would arrive the day after so, I waited. On delivery day, I suddenly received a phone call telling the driver was at my house, at my house? I said, what happened to calling prior to arrival so I can confirm my availability? They apologized for not calling me and I told them I would call them back as soon as I got approval from my boss to get off work. Soon after I called them back and told them I was on my way, I was then told the driver dropped off my car and went on to another delivery. I was asked for a new meeting time and I said I would be available to go home between 1130-noon so we agreed on that time. I then took my lunch hour and went home, while I waited for the driver to arrive I inspected the car and it seemed in good condition. I waited, then waited, and waited some more. Finally at an hour past our agreed upon time I called back and told them I had been waiting and the driver never arrived. I was then told the driver was still on the other delivery, he was about 30 miles away. I was then told I had two options-- Go back to work (I was already an hour past my lunch hour) and the driver would drop off my keys then I could send them a picture of my signed bill of lading after inspecting the car or, I could drive 30 miles and pick up my keys from the driver...Really? So I went back to work, 2 and one half hours after our agreed upon time the keys were finally dropped off at my house. After I got off work (an hour past my normal time) I inspected the interior of the vehicle and it was in good shape as expected. This is the first time I've shipped a car so I have no experiences to compare it to but the impact on my personal life caused by the lack of communication on the part of the company makes me apprehensive to do this again. Through this experience I felt the burden of coordination was placed on me, the customer, when it should have been on the company to ensure I was given updates as things changed. I have yet to hear from the company to address their shortcomings. The next time I am in need of this service, I'm hesitant to say this company will be my first choice, do yourself a favor, shop around and consider your choices. read more

What an amazing crew to work with. I was shipping my car down for school and it was loaded up with school books, furniture, and clothes I needed to move into a new apartment. We didn't take into account that it was Labor Day weekend and we realized my car wouldn't make it down in time due to drivers taking time off for the holiday to be with their families. Auto Transport Team was hired by a southern CA dealership to deliver a car that we purchased over the phone/online. They were able to deliver the car timely. The problem was while the car was on their truck parked somewhere overnight someone tried to steal parts off it and caused some pretty obvious paint damage. When the car was delivered it was noted haphazardly on the bill of laden. We were never given access to the pickup inspection report. Based on the detailed photos sent by the salesman this did not preexist. Now two months later they have yet to take any responsibility or even attempt to assist in correcting the damage. The car dealership paid for half even though they had no legal responsibility to do so. Auto Team Transport's repeated response has been "you signed for it". There out dated forms leave you no choice to contest any condition issues unless you don't sign for the car. How are you supposed to refuse to sign and then have the driver take back a car you just paid $27,000 for? I'm sure they have delivered thousands of cars without problem and will most likely to continue to do so. Just want everyone to know if there is a problem they won't do anything about it. GOOD LUCK! Now after a week and a half after posting this review, still no response. Next step is the BBB. They had more than a fair chance to work this out with me. Update, still no attempt to make this right, now a year later and my review is not showing up. Sounds fishy to me. read more
