Have gone to the clinic twice. Both times there was not any follow up to any of the tests. I gave them a second chance that was for an annual skin check. Asked about the previous skin issue on my lip, and they said they would get more information. I was also perscribed a cream for a skin issue. It has now been over 2 months with no follow up. A perscription was never called in and after talking to the office manager, I was promissed that she would look into it. Still no diagnosis or perscription. I have left three messages for the office manager, with no return call. I would be very concerned if I had any significant issues to trust my care to Pacific Dermatology & Cosmetic. Beware of the billing from these guys. I went to a cosmetic consultation and paid $100 upfront for it as it's not covered by insurance. I went to see about these dots on my face(dpn)which we can remove or not. While I was having conversations I asked if these are same as dots on my arms. Which the doc said they are not and suggested couple ointments for that. Today I received a bill of $100 and said it was medical consultation for the question I asked for my arm dots. I mean come on! When you go see doctor don't you ask questions if this is related to the symptoms you are facing? Do they charge you $100 for every question you ask? As a patient how do I know it's not cosmetic and it's medical? Next time before answering question give a heads up that I will charge you $100 for the answer!! I love Dr. Reichel. She's top notch and a very good Dr. The front desk at this place is a disaster wrapped in a hurricane, wrapped in a nightmare of inadequacy. Had a Fraxel scheduled for January 5/6, called to find out when it was when I didn't hear from anyone - it was cancelled for no apparent reason, but no one bothered to tell me. Called to find out - lady who answered the phone promised me she would get back to me FOR SURE. Still waiting. Also, left three messages on the voice message system, no return calls - mentioned it when I was finally able to get through and was told that "it was broken" and even that I had to ask her if she was even going to acknowledge the fact that I wasn't responded too. Requested a call from the clinic manager, that didn't happen either. I have been going here for 20 years, and have sent them at least 50 referrals. Like I said, Dr. R is top notch. Wondering what I should do to see here at this point. May hire a hot air balloon and drop post it notes all over the parking lot, or possibly hire an airplane to spell it out in the sky, possible singing telegram. Kind of out of ideas when no one calls you back or answers online appointment requests. read more

I have mixed feelings about this office, but I'm left with an overall negative impression, so I'm going to average my rating accordingly. I was referred here a few years ago, for removal of a basal carcinoma on my face. The surgery itself went fine, as far as I could tell. If I were to rate strictly on that, it would be higher. Dr. Reichel and the staff were all fine. However, over time, it appeared that the scar was more apparent than I'd originally thought. I went back and asked if they could do anything about it. They recommended some kind of laser treatment? (I don't remember now what it was called), and I agreed. There was to be no cost, because it was included in the original surgery fees. My nurse/asst told me that she personally found the treatment "relaxing"; that it would only last a few seconds, and it was not particularly painful. I had had a different treatment elsewhere for a discoloration, and figured this would be similar - like a light rubber band snapping sensation. Unfortunately, it was not. It was very painful. For the first few seconds, I just grit my teeth and dealt with it, but after several more seconds, I couldn't take it anymore and literally tried to push the doctor/staff off. It was that bad. And they *resisted* me. They finished the treatment, without pause. Then they acted like nothing had happened. And this treatment is supposed to be repeated, like 3-6 times! Needless to say, I have not gone back. I'd rather deal with the scar than that office or treatment again. I trust my dermatologist (who referred me here), and so I believe that Dr. Reichel is a capable surgeon. But you could do better in terms of an overall experience. read more

I have been going to the Pacific Dermatology in Northgate for years. I was a sun worshipper as a teenager and now am paying for it. Andrea a PA is the absolute best! On my last visit she noticed a potential basal cell carcinoma and said, "I'm taking that". Me, "right now" and she said "yep". She made it painless and was extremely efficient that I didn't even have time to get nervous. Fast forward it came back for cancer and they scheduled a Mohs surgery. The staff was so efficient in getting me in quickly and I am so thankful I had the nicest nurse (Izzy) who walked me through each step as it was lengthy and a little scary. Dr. Reichel was amazing, and I am so appreciative of her and her team. read more

They have trouble figuring out exactly how to let you pay your bill in full - seeing as how I was a self pay and took care of my bill on the way out the door. I handed them a credit card, they gave me a receipt and that was supposed to be that. Then a few months later I started receiving overdue notices in the mail for $10. So I paid the $10. Now I just got an email asking for $100. WTF? Now, I'm demanding an itemized bill including the payment for the $10 - because if they're having trouble tracking bills that have already been paid then it's a problem. If needed, I will contact my credit card company and get records of payments, and file a claim for whatever my lawyer recommends. My advice: If you do decide to go here, keep thorough documentation of their bills and your payments for quite a while (it's been many months since I went in there and they're just now saying they want the additional $100 - on top of the first "total" payment and the second payment of $10.) read more

I lived in Northgate, right across the street actually from Pac Derm & Cosmetic Center so I was pleased that it was so close. HOWEVER, proximity means nothing if I end up with disappointment and regret. I had a pretty good size mole right next to the right side of my lip-- right above the corner where my upper and lower lip meet. At consultation, and I was with the nurse for a bit, then Dr. Reichal came in, looked at the situation and said she could remove it successfully with an excision procedure that she explained. Sounded good and that was that. Somewhat brief (actually, it seemed like she had a lot of people that she was attending to. I kind of got the feeling like I was just another patient) but I thought I got the information that I needed. When I came in for the surgery, I was in the operating room and getting prepped. So, I'm in the chair, moments before she is about to perform the surgery and she keeps looking at my mole and puckering the skin around. Then at THAT moment she says she's not sure if the surgery is a good idea. She says excising the mole (cutting it out) and stitching the skin together and it will cause my upper lip to stretch out. This was MOMENTS before she was going to do the surgery! She then goes on to explain that my upper lip is not symmetrical and that the side that the surgery is going to be performed on is actually a bit lower (which was true, probably due to the mole and a scar I had previously). She said that doing the excision will stretch and lift that side of the lip and probably make it even. What am I supposed to say to that? I'm ready to go, I had gotten my insurance and everything all set, and she then has her doubts at a very inconvenient time. Yet she buffers her doubt by rationalizing that it might actually work out in the end. So I said, okay, sounds like it's going to work, let's continue(but what do I know? She's the expert--or supposed to be). I did note that she seemed eager in having me sign the liability form, that if something goes wrong, it is not the fault of the office. So surgery done, I wait, and wait, and wait for the recovery and things to look good. However, I am somewhat concerned and apprehensive because I notice that my lip certainly not even, it is certainly not symmetrical and is definitely noticeably higher and somewhat dis-formed looking now. One of the nurses had mentioned that it would stretch out. WELL, it's been a year and I feel like half of my mouth is reminiscent of... oh I don't know, The Joker from batman! Now I am self-conscious and feel like I need to wear cover up all the time to try to hide the significant stretching. I'm not satisfied, and now I am looking into procedures to FIX this. So, from my experience, I would say I felt like things were kind of rushed. She may be professional but I feel she lacks a warmth, lacks thoroughness, and lacks experience. I research other doctors I could have gone to, who seem to have a much more educated, detailed, analytical, and smarter approach that may have been more involved, but would have provided much better results. The one star goes to how I learned what NOT to do. Don't have one consultation; instead have several for comparative purposes (or do a lot more research) and I learned don't go to Dr. Reichal for procedures that are more involved, more delicate, and in a area of your body that could make you self-conscious--like your FACE! read more

I've been here about 3 times previously to see (Kelly Stevens). The first time pretty much was a EMERGENCY, like, emergency get to the dermatologist ASAP, since I had a this huge pimple right on the center of my nose (yeah, I know) less than a week before my wedding (yeah, I know, sh*t!). They gave me one of those injections to lower the swelling/size and were kindly sympathetic. I came back a couple days later for a follow up and another small injection, and thank goodness my nose cleared up for the most part, the rest covered by makeup in time for the wedding. My last appt was in July, a follow-up to see if any of the tropical creams Dr. Stevens prescribed to me were working, etc. So far so good, nothing major of any breakouts since the wedding. My next follow-up appt was suppose to be in December. I got a call from the office about 2 weeks into Dec, to schedule my follow-up appt. Okay, so I scheduled for the last week in Dec, since according to the receptionist on the phone, was the only available spot for Dr. Stevens. I had to arrange with work to get off a hour early to make it to my 2:30 appt this past week. I get there, and gave my name...annnnnddd the receptionist tells me there is no appointments or anything in the system for me, today, or anytime. Nothing scheduled! What!?! I was kinda irritated, just because I had to leave work early and make the long drive to the office, but because I scheduled the appointment over the phone two weeks prior, and when the office called me first to make one. On top of that, If I wanted to re-schedule, I would have to wait another two weeks, and that would be okay with me...if only I didn't have to pay for the co-pay!! Basically, they screwed up with the appointment scheduling, yet I'll have to pay for my next visit (because my insurance would cover until the end of the year). Forget it. Overall, my emergency & past follow-up visits went well, and I saw results. The only downside so far that I was able to experience was the receptionists/scheduling. Also, since I've heard them a few too many times that they are "booked, busy, and unable to squeeze you in at this time for a quick check". read more

I had an appt with Laurie Jacobson at Pacific Derm recently. But, after waiting for an hour, and being told it would be another 20 minutes, I watched the sneaky way they brought someone in ahead of me. Actually, I was on my way to the toilet and walked right into the assistant telling the woman to hurry before the other woman knows that we're sneaking you in. I instead went to the front desk and asked them why they did that and had been so rude. All that time and there had never been an apology. Of course first came the condescending Oh doctors sometimes run late, then the denial about sneaking someone ahead of me. I don't really care if Drs Leaf and Jacobson are "great". They run their office deplorably. read more

I would not recommend this practice to anyone as I have had several bad experiences over the years. I'm frustrated with myself for not switching clinics sooner. Long story short, the various issues include: misdiagnosis by one of their doctors for a fairly common skin condition (fortunately I was properly diagnosed by Dr. Strother in Kirkland when I sought a second opinion), no letter to inform me when one of the providers I have seen frequently left the clinic, and extremely poor customer service when I asked to simply have a prescription sent to a different pharmacy. I just wanted my skin to glow. I was nervous, I really hadn't forayed into cosmetic dermatology and wasn't sure what it would mean. Dr. Chiu was AWESOME. She's wicked smart -- which made a huge difference for me. She was able to explain which lasers would do what, and why she would recommend one approach over another. She was also conscious of costs and time -- both critical elements to me. In the end, we decided to go with a combination of a simple bleaching creme to work on the dark, sun-related spots and we upped my daily sunblock from SPF 15 to SPF 30 and we started a trio of monthly peels -- i think they are called "vitalize" peels. The results were great -- i wanted something that would be impactful to me but not noticeable as a cosmetic change to others -- to the outside i just wanted to look fresh, relaxed and healthy. She was so great that even my mum is seeing her when she visits from California. A couple of notes on the location -- it's in Northgate, but totally worth it. I combine my visits to Dr. Chiu with a trip to target! And she has free parking right off the freeway, so it was less stressful than i thought -- and much better then trekking downtown or trying to find a spot on first hill. The clinic she works at is very modern and they see to have the right approach to cosmetic dermatology - do what makes you feel beautiful! I loved it. Highly recommended. read more

I booked an appointment here hoping to resolve some significant concerns I have about about my skin, including skin cancer concerns, since I just moved here from a tropical environment. The appointment lasted maybe 10 minutes, with the PA doing a very brief (60 second) check of my skin, dismissed any remaining concerns I had, and practically shoved me out the door. After talking to friends who had their skin checked for cancer, and learning how in-depth it should be, I realize I'm going to have to do it all over again with a different dermatologist. To add insult to injury, I'm having billing issues now because they billed the wrong insurance provider. How hard can it be?? The billing person is impossible to get ahold of, making matters worse. She was very kind and sympathizing, and after talking with her she had some solutions and together we decided on what would work best. It's been about seven months now, I'm taking one less med, and my skin looks better and feels amazing. Let me begin by saying I've now sought treatment for my skin condition in 13 metropolitan cities, and three countries. My last experience at UCLA Medical was quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had. But I won't go into that here. I was referred to Dr.Reichel by UW Medical's dermatology specialist. Needless to say I did my research and saw that she was extra official.Even still, I went in quite skeptical based on my still fresh UCLA Medical experience. Her and her staff were professional and responsible. They took care of the insurance stuff before I arrived. I sat in the UCLA Medical waiting room for an hour and twenty minutes. I sat in the waiting room of Pacific Derm for 3 minutes. The front desk staff greeted me with smiles and assisted in me in filling out my paperwork. This may not seem like a lot. But after my experience at UCLA Medical, where they seem to have cut the patient out of the equation completely, it was refreshing to feel like a patient again. Back to Dr. Reichel though. She came in the room dressed for the Oscars and actually called me by my name. Again, this may not seem like a big deal but it is to me. My Dr. at UCLA didn't even make eye contact with me, which is hard at a dermatology appointment right? Dr. Reichel and her assistant, who was equally awesome, talked with me about my procedure for a whopping hour before we decided to do it. She was honest about what I should expect and the chances of scarring and pigmentation issues. We did the treatment and she sent me off with instructions on how to care and some prescriptions. I spent a total of 2 hours in the office, which is 1 hour and 45 minutes longer than all of my 3 appointments at UCLA Medical. UCLA still managed to charge me thousands of dollars more somehow without ever having actually treating my issue. Upon my follow up with Dr. Reichel, she examined my healing process and actually made the decision that it was too early to tell and that I should wait. Much to my surprise, she didn't even charge me for my visit. I've seen it all. Literally. I've had some amazing experiences and some extra terrible ones. I actually had a dermatologist contact me once off-line asking me to remove my review in exchange for my money back. UCLA Medical canceled on me 4 times without once offering an explanation. Yes, 4 times. Dr. Rubenstein & Dr. Simona in Los Angeles are among the best I've ever experiences. I can confidently say Dr. Reichel flies in that rarefied air. And though it's inconvenient as hell to fly up to Seattle for treatment, it's worth it. 100%. Dr. Reichel is dope as hell. read more

I have been seeing Kelly Stevens, PA-C for 4 months and am very pleased with my experience. She is really fun to talk to and always remembers what we discussed last time I was in. I like picking her brain for information as she really knows her stuff. The office is large and very pleasant to wait in and there is lots of parking downstairs. Based on my skin concerns, Kelly recommended a series of chemical peels. After my third one, I can honestly say that my skin has never looked better. The texture is smoother, I am stressing less about little fine lines as they are minimized, the tone is more even. Sometimes I'll head out the door without skin makeup. Not to toot my own horn too much (toot toot) but last Friday a 19 year-old waiting my table told me that she is a makeup artist and my skin was so nice, she wanted to "do me up." I have visited Pacific Derm for two procedures: Mole removal and laser hair removal. Mole Removal: I was advised to come to a cosmetic center instead of a regular derm because the mole was on my eyelid. I was, needless to say, extremely nervous about the procedure. Dr. Reichel and the nurses were wonderful, made me feel very comfortable and (since my eyes had to stay closed) informed me what they were doing every step of the way. I was anesthetized perfectly and stitched up beautifully. Now, two years later, I have just the faintest scar. I come to them with any mole I need removed on my face, and all have been flawless! Laser Hair Removal: Andrea English, PA-C is a joy to visit. I was getting hair removed from my chin and upper lip, and as with any procedure was VERY nervous and tense. Andrea's soothing voice kept me calm, and she was very clear in explaining what was going on and what I could expect to feel and when (it helped that she had the laser hair removal herself!). I was so impressed that I'm back for my bikini line. Best news of all -- they have a new machine now, LightSheer DUET, that's faster, cheaper, and removes more hair! My friend went to a place downtown that had a Groupon Deal on laser hair treatment, and the place ended up burning her lip. Andrea is a pro, and I have never even had the slightest discomfort after any of the treatments! I highly recommend at least getting a consultation from Andrea before you go anywhere else!! read more

For a time, the PA I saw here was amazing, so I was willing to put up with rude front office staff, long wait times, inconvenient prescription refill procedures and more. Now that the PA I saw has moved, I tried another provider here and it has been nothing but a gigantic headache. It took me 6 phone calls over the course of 2 days to get a prescription refilled and I was treated with disregard and rudeness each time I called. There is ZERO bedside manner at this place - clearly it's more a cosmetic-focused practice - so do not go for acne, eczema or any other skin issues. They are dismissive, inflexible and expensive. read more

I came here to have Moh's surgery to remove a Basal Cell Carcinoma in November 2012. I was referred by my dermatologist at the Polyclinic Northgate. My surgeon was Dr. Reichel. I couldn't have been happier with the result. The carcinoma was about the size of a quarter and on my forehead, so while I definitely wanted it out, due to the size and its location, I was concerned about what it would look like. Dr. Reichel was able to remove it in two passes and a few months after the surgery, I am extremely impressed with the relative lack of scarring. It hasn't fully dissipated yet, but only four months after surgery it has faded substantially, and many people don't even notice it unless they are looking for it. Everyone in the office was friendly and professional. I can't compare the office to other dermatology surgeons but I was very pleased with what my experience. read more

I feel like I need to post due to some of the negative comments here. I LOVE everyone I've worked with here. Andrea English has been checking my skin since 2012, after I had a melanoma removed in October 2012 (I was 21 at the time) she is a lovely person, does a thorough job, and listens and helps with any other concerns I may have. Dr. Reichel has since removed Several more moles for me and as far as that can go... it's been a good experience. I haven't had anything removed in over 2 years now. I saw another dermatologist in Southern California, it made me miss this group so much, it was basically a 60 second check. Someone else commented about the laser service to decrease the appearance of scars. Yes. It freaking hurts, but it only lasts like 30-60 seconds, I'll deal with that for a less apparent scar, it's bringing more blood flow to the scar to allow for increased healing. Similar concept to cupping! The only reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars was an issue where I wasn't receiving my bill in the mail, and the fact that I still haven't received a bill for a service from 2 months ago now. read more

Dr. Reichel is amazing. After hitting my mid-30's I saw some beginning signs of aging that I didn't love. I went to one of Seattle's "celebrity" dermatologists and walked away feeling overwhelmed: the celebrity derm left me feeling as though I looked a lot older and needed more "work" than I ever could have imagined. I mentioned this experience to a derm friend of mine and she referred me to Dr. Reichel and the experience was so positive. Dr. Reichel recommended some mild, noninvasive procedures that were very affordable and effective. I continue to see Dr. Reichel and whenever I ask her about expensive, invasive procedures, she steers me away. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Reichel is aggressive and proactive in her anti-aging tactics for her patients, but she's also realistic and reasonable and understand that most of us don't want to spend 10K/year on our faces! read more

Saw Dr Jacobson for a regular exam and a couple of mole excisions. The front desk and nursing staff were professional and friendly. The nurse I worked with (sorry to have forgotten her name) was very kind. Dr Jacobson was friendly, down-to-earth and enthusiastic about her profession. She seems to really enjoy her work and meeting her patients - fun while keeping it professional. The whole process from start to finish was efficient and pleasant. I did download, complete, and fax my new patient forms ahead of time which I highly recommend for any visit to a new MD. It definitely streamlines the process. read more

The place and the doctors are nice! A couple of problems I had when I was there was that Dr. Chiu was really intense which might freak some people out. The other thing which I'm not sure is limited to this office is the fact that everyone there (receptionists included) seems to stare at your skin. Other than that what they prescribed me really worked and the doctors were helpful. I thought Kelly Stevens was really hilarious because while she was looking at my moles she kept referring to them as he. Like 'he is a little dark' and 'he's not too big.' read more

I visited Pacific Dermatology & Cosmetic Center to get treated for adult acne. Having never had acne before, the sudden eruption on my face and chest got me really scared and nervous. After researching the net for some good referrals on dermatologists I decided to make my appointment with Dr. Chiu. Unfortunately, looks like Dr. Chiu doesnt look at new patients and I was assigned to Dr. Kelly Stevens, in retrospect a blessing in disguise!! After 6 months of treatment including peels and oral medication I can confidently say I am acne free, barring a few fainting scars!! Dr. Stevens was friendly, funny, a really good listener,etc. etc. I am really happy with her diagnosis and prescribed treatment and would recommend her to anyone looking to get treated for acne esp.Have to mention nurse Julie or Joan (cant place the name correct) for being really nice and understanding. I could have given 5 stars but didn't because scheduling an appointment is kind of a difficult experience. They are only open Mon-Fri 8-5 (which are apparently working hours for most people) and no appointments on Saturday, seriously, at tleast wice in a month on Sat should be an option for people living and working on Eastside. Both of my boys and myself have been patients for more than 6 years and love the practice. Yes sometimes they can be blunt, be jesus folks, don't you want to hear the truth? Do you really want to sit there for longer than you have to? My boys have gone through the Accutane process with Andrea, Stacey and Dr. Linnell with fantastic results. I dont even want to put 1 star for this review. If I have my way I would give this practice a negative. I usually dont give reviews for business but I think mine would be helpful for other patients looking into getting dermatologists and if the business owners ever bother to read on reviews, they should re-train their staffs/the way they run a medical practice. 1/ IT IS VERY HARD to get in touch with either PA or MA if I have questions or concerns. They tend to hide behind the voicemail machines and if you lucky they will call you back in 24 hours regardless of how serious the situation is. I signed up for isotretinoin program (aka accutane) so things must be done in a very timely manner. My lab was done and the prescriber must confirm that i am not pregnant into the ipledge system before the pharmacy can even dispend the medication to me. I have a 7 day window after the appt to get my prescriptions and if i dont i gotta start over. And guess what, lab was done and sent ( I called the lab directly to ask specifically for what time/date they sent to the office) but no body even bothers to follow up . The MA only left me a voice message and said "no lab yet" and probably did not care enough to contact lab to ask for the results again. I left so many voice messages to the MA. The only people I was able to speak to were the receptionists and they could not do much rather than I must leave voice messages to the MA. I am a medical professional myself and IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND IRRESPONSIBLE WAY TO TREAT YOUR PATIENTS. 2/ PRESCRIBERS THEMSELVES DONT WANT TO SPEAK WITH PATIENTS ON THE PHONE. I dont understand how they want to care for patients, yet avoid all the interactions at their best. I paid so much for the appointment which lasted maximum 10 minutes if they feel like to ask questions that day. It is a waste of time and money. read more

Trying to schedule an appointment through a referral from the PCP. Referral was sent out late August. I called in September, twice in October, November, twice in December. Each time I was told something was under review and it would take up to a month, and that I would receive a call back soon. I never got a call back. No accountability or responsibility. Actually, to put more insult to injury, when I called in December I was told they were booking out till March. Why did they not mention that in the first place and put me in an unnecessary hold for 4 months? At least the receptionist is kind, but this is absolutely ridiculous. read more

My appointment felt rushed and not very personal. I didn't feel like my practitioner, Andrea English, listened to my concerns and when I did bring up things I wanted to discuss she kind of blew me off. Not cool when dealing with something as important as the health of your skin. I'd give the practice another try but I'd try and see someone else. Last month I had a biopsy done for a lump that had been forming on my nose. This lump had caused me to live in seclusion so I wasn't completely happy with my life. I experienced no pain but the lump was slowly growing. After the biopsy, Dr. Reichel's office reported that the lump was Basal Cell Carcinoma and we scheduled an appointment for consultation. During the consultation Dr. Reichel explained the procedure and my options. She listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, and we agreed to scheduled a date for surgery. This was the third time I've had surgery performed by Dr. Reichel so I knew from experience that she and her staff were very good at what they do. The surgery was performed in April of 2013. I arrived at my appointment at 9:00 am and was released around 2:00 pm. Dr. Reichel, assisted by two of her registered nurses, performed mohs micrographic surgery and then performed a reconstruction with a skin graft - the skin used for the graft was borrowed from behind my left ear. I found Dr. Reichel and her staff to be compassionate, professional, and the only pain I experienced was mild and due to the injections for the local anesthetic. She and her staff made continued efforts to make sure I was comfortable and that my needs were met during the entire surgery. Overall I was very impressed with the way everything was handled and the attention that was given to my care and comfort. Dr. Reichel and her staff have very good bedside manners and I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of mohs surgery. read more

Dr. Jacobsen is great but the clinic is the worst. Always behind schedule at least 45 minutes, with no word from the receptionists about what to expect. So frustrating every time. read more

First, the doctor, whose bedside manner I'd characterize as cold, was very curt when I went in for a skin cancer check. When I mentioned that I'd had several severe sunburns on my shoulders and could she check them extra carefully, she said, "We check all areas equally" in a tone suggesting my comment was dumb. The skin check took about five minutes, which is strange because friends have told me their doctors did a much more thorough job, especially on those who, like me, are at a high risk for skin cancer. I also got a biopsy for an itchy spot that the doctor said might be something and now I have an ugly scar on my previously unblemished hand (it was nothing). Total hack job that was quite painful and oozing for many days. Then I stupidly asked for a small wart to be removed. It literally took 10 seconds and I was charged $160 just for that. I also apparently paid extra for a pinpoint of a second wart that the doctor blitzed for half a second. Guess what -- the removal didn't do a damn thing for either. Both warts were exactly the same after the treatment. I ended up buying TCA online for $20 and got rid of the warts for good on my own. I'm reluctant to go to any dermatologist in the future. At nearly $300, this was the most expensive doctor's visit I've had in quite some time. I was shocked when I opened the bill, which I couldn't really afford, and they sent me reminders constantly until I finally just put it on my credit card. It seems that the way they bill -- with an off-site, out-of-network lab that my insurance wouldn't fully cover -- drives costs way up. I really wish I had known that, which is why I'm leaving this review. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Reichel's for a number of years now and have had nothing but good experiences. Yes I have had to wait because sometimes they are running late, but this happens at every medical appointment I go to, so to me that is not a big deal. I love that she knows her stuff, doesn't recommend treatments that won't work well and that she is a caring person. Her staff is great too. Finesmith talked over me repeatedly even after I asked her to stop so that I could finish what I was saying. She was argumentative, told me I had something I clearly did not have, and didn't seem to offer any solutions to the problem except to blame me. I paid to get talked down to and will not be going back. read more

Dr.Reichel did lipo on my inner thighs/knees. It's been 6 months and I love my results. I will be going back for cool sculpting! I highly recommend this place. The staff was very professional and I was very well taken care of! read more
