1/5 Star Review Frontier Fiber - Extremely Disappointed I am paying $210 per month for Frontier's 7 Gbps fiber plan, and I am not receiving the speeds I am paying for. My connection is consistently slower than advertised, even when testing on wired connections with Frontier-approved equipment. Frontier sent a replacement device, but it did not fix the issue. I have contacted customer support multiple times and have been transferred back and forth endlessly between departments with no resolution. The most frustrating part is that Frontier refuses to send a technician to properly diagnose the problem. For a premium-priced service, the support is unacceptable. There is no accountability, no real troubleshooting, and no urgency to fix an issue that clearly requires on-site support. Instead, customers are left wasting hours on the phone repeating the same story. If you are considering Frontier's high-speed plans, be warned: they are happy to charge top dollar but unwilling to support the service when it doesn't work as advertised. long time subscribe...they started with low cost plan...then forced me to rent their equipment...then slowly increased cost for relatively slow DSL speeds. Then when you cancel, you have to call them (not available online) and they say will send mail in box, but don't, then charge you for not returning equipment....terrible customer experience. I switched to Starlink for faster and cheaper service. when they realized you are really going to quit, they magically have cheaper options... totally sleaze. Avoid at all costs or only use them for a very limited time- while they give you a cheap introduction rate. read more

We have a technician from Frontier internet coming tomorrow morning. We've have had their service for a year and a half and it is a 5 GB service for $145. We rarely get close to 1 GB but more recently there has been frequent disconnections slow speeds. We are very unhappy with Frontier's service. read more

Me and my wife has been in a middle of moving. We were going to move to oregon. We called to cancel our service. The lady told us we didnt need to return anything we can just cancel so we did, but then our house in oregon didnt go thru and we ended up restarting our service. Then we find out we were suppose to return equipment but its ok cause we were temporarily going to turn on our cable for another month. The lady got our email wrong and ended up having to make another account. Mind you she told us we wouldn't be charged for canceling and we can return both equipment at the same time. Well the day has come to cancel and because of there mistake we cant cancel because we sold our house and they cant give us the letter we need to verify our account to cancel because our address has changed. We called a few times to resolve and today I had enough! We asked for the escalation team and she told us they would say the same. ALL WE WANT TO DO IS PAY OUR BILL CANCEL AND RETURN THEIR EQUIPMENT AS GOOD PEOPLE. dont use them not worth it. They also dont have any offices to go down and return and verify yourself. So they make it impossible. Ill be informing the FCC AND BBB. Dont let companies take advantage of you. Their customer service is bad and as a buisness they dont deserve your money. read more

Horrible customer service! Issues in canyon lake since the 2nd day we've had it. Two techs have come out and switched items. Now they say wait 2-3 days to get equipment. How can a family run a home based business with no Internet for 3 days? They told me no tech could deliver to my home today. Then they had the balls to ask if I wanted a free faster Internet offered to me for 90 days to try it out! Comedy!! Channel discrepancies with original cable box. Received replacement cable box and cannot get a picture. What happened to the days when technician came out once and fixed everything. Now they want a 65 year old customer to do the technical ability of a 25 year old. It's like pulling teeth over the phone. If they ship you a cable box you'd think they'd have the s/n information already and not have you break your back moving furniture around to read the microscopic print. read more

Signed me up took my order quickly and fast. Asked me for best time for installation. I selected 8am- noon. 5 hrs later still no tech. Reached out to Frontier and was passed around to 3 different people that still gave no answer on arrival time. Then after 39 minutes of this BS they send a text saying a technician will arrive in 2 days 8- noon. Complete crap customer service. Once they get your order you are basically a nobody. I called spectrum and received my equipment next day up and running. I would not recommend Frontier. They have no consideration of customers time. Spectrum also hires employees in the USA that speak English. Frontier has foreigners taking orders. read more

Worst service ever. Be careful. If you move and want to transfer your service in area that they don't cover. They will charge you a restocking fee of $50 for the equipment. Very unprofessional. Try another company first. read more

First.. was promised by "Billie" that after installation I would receive a $80 virtual credit card in my email. Notified him it's installed...still no email .. called him and he said.. oh ...sorry you did not get the highest deal service...so no $80! At first, I thought simple installation, never happened. Had confirmation number for installation. 4 hr window sucks, took time off to get installation. No one ever called or confirmed they were coming out. Made another attempt to get installation, Made several calls, the welcome team states, "no one has been scheduled." And now they are closed for the weekend. Do not recommend this company. I also felt like, in 12 months, i would have to go thru another sales pitch to keep the rate. I called to turn my landline off, they said they would give me a lower rate if I kept it. Before I agreed they said the call would be recorded to insure customer service and assistance. My bill was what they said for two months and jumped back up this month. they won't honor what they said, they won't let me listen to the recording. They said, even if she did make a mistake they're not honor it. So basically it's a bait and switch and there's nothing you about it. Welcome to America. read more

Scam. Technician comes out, hooks up equipment and leaves. Internet doesn't work. Hours and hours on phone for them to tell me it's bad equipment. They want to charge $150 to send him back! They will mail good equipment in 4 days. Ok, send the working equipment... They send wrong equipment. Cancel my account please... they want to charge me for a months service and $95 to break my contract. NEVER HAD SERVICE. 12 days with no service and not being able to work. So the 15th has come, the third promised day of service.. weve been getting the run around for almost 2 weeks now of the service weve requested. There is no service. They might as well be a fake company at this point. No type of notification they didnt come at all. No phone calls, no emails, no texts. Called to see whats the issue, they havent even put in a work order. Even though weve had a ticket open for more than a week now. I was very disappointed when I tried to cancel my service. I started out at one price per month for the first 6 months. Then the bill went up. Without notice. Automatic bill pay took my money. Went from $69./ mo. to $83./ mo. It went for 3 months. So I called to cancel my service. Yes, they tried to keep me. But being on Hold for 25 minutes. I was disappointed cause they knew when I told the Automatic voice service I wanted to cancel my service after getting a live person. I told Michelle that I wanted to cancel. When Kim from frontier commutations first came to my door to have us install there internet services, I was told that if We allowed them to take moneys out of our bank account for the bill we would receive a 150.00 visa card. That never happened, When I called Frontier and asked why I never received my card the lady on the phone stated that the card had expired I told her that I have never got the card I was told that they do not send cards everything is preformed over internet. that never happened. I was told that I could call a number and discuss with someone 40 min waiting time tells me a lot of problems and poss miss information so far frontier commutations wants me to to spend all my time correcting there mistakes I think I will say good-by to frontier and take there sales person to small claims court.
