The top of the desk was used; the base was new. I asked the salesperson if she could do better on the price. She said no. I told her I'd take the floor model. Could she do any better? No. I really needed the desk because my arm and shoulder were killing me, so I said I'd buy it. Then we got to "delivery." They were gonna charge me something ridiculous to bring it to my home, five miles away. I mean, like $150. The desk was $279. So the salesperson asked me what kind of vehicle I had. I have a small car, but the cargo area is large, so it actually fit! Then I was told there was a $41 charge for "assembly." I was buying the floor model that was already put together, so... ??? HUH??? Salesperson wouldn't take the charge off. Against my better judgment, I still bought the desk. I guess the pain won out; I needed this thing ASAP! At the end of the transaction, after I had paid and had the desk loaded into my car, I was under the impression that the guys from the store would come to my house and bring the desk inside. I had chatted with the salesperson a bit more, and my understanding was that the $41 assembly charge would be offset by them helping me bring the desk in. Nope. I had misunderstood. The charge was sticking and they were not doing ANYTHING as far as delivery or set-up. Putting the thing into my car was the end of the transaction. I was left standing there with a heavy desk in my car and no way to unload it when I got home. I truly don't know what came over me when I accepted these ridiculous charges. A half-used desk, floor model, no delivery or set-up... I had to wait for a handyman I hired to come by in order to get the desk into my house. I helped him bring it in and ended up banging up some woodwork in the house that now has to be repaired. I just wasn't strong enough to do heavy lifting. Hopefully my physical ailments will improve from using the desk. I expect to have a least a bit of positivity from this experience! I would not recommend this store. (On top of all of this, they don't stock many of the items featured on their website, nor do they have free delivery as indicated on the site.)

They also don't hide minor flaws of the items--Josh pointed out that one of the sectional couch I bought has a minor issue with the zipper, which still works but explains the steep discount. Finally, they offer $100 delivery regardless of the amount of furniture you buy. This place is a total bargain for people who want affordable and quality furniture: for example, I stumbled upon $200 electronic standing desk (second hand). I would have taken it had I not invested in an uplift one two years ago which cost me around $1000. They also have brand new dining set (table + 4 chairs) for $375 or $350. I just bought a set from Costco with a middle leaf and six chairs at $850. Had I seen this one earlier, I'd probably opt for this over the Costco one given how affordable it is. Overall, very happy with my purchase. I'll come back to update my review if there is quality issue. If there is no update, that means the quality is also satisfactory!

Earlier this week, I dropped that laptop and damaged the hard drive. I went to Office Depot and found out it would cost quite a bit to fix--it might not even be worth fixing. Just then, my cell phone rang and it was about my terminally ill sister--they believe she only has a few more days. At that point, I started crying and told the employee I had to leave. I'm sure he overheard some of the conversation. The manager came over because I was upset. I told him it wasn't anything to do with the store - the employee was really great--this was a personal problem. He said he didn't care and that I wasn't leaving his store upset. He took my broken computer and gave me a brand new one. It's a better computer. As I write this review, I am in tears because I still cannot believe he did that for me. I can't express how much his gesture touched me. I will be loyal to them forever and I want everyone to know what Office Depot is about.

I went in for my TSA Pre Check appointment & the directions clearly state to bring your state ID…read more(see photo) so that's what I showed up with. The clerk Sharon helping me chewed me out even though I showed her the text stating it only says to bring your state ID. Like literally yelling at me in the store with other people around. Such a humiliating experience. Sharon is a very unprofessional & rude employee. I 1000% recommend NOT coming to this location especially for TSA pre check.

When I asked if there was any way to complete the order in-store with his help, he simply told me it was the same process as online and didn't offer any further assistance. It was frustrating because I came in specifically for support, and it felt like my concerns were brushed off instead of being properly addressed.
