Food is incredible. Service, at least the lunch staff, not so great. There was a girl there (blonde) who just kept rolling her eyes and it was very obvious she was overwhelmed (although I was one of maybe 6 guests at the time). read more

Excellent pizza, killer location, great service! That about sums it up, literally! Pizza itself is pretty unique, a traditional wood fire pizza with a bit more of a "zing" to the topping selection. Decent beer and wine selection as well with lots of local stuff. They didn't have any ranch of any kind, which is admittedly a bit sacrilegious when dealing with high quality pizza, but i'm still a sucker for dipping a slice or two in some buttermilk ranch. So if you're in the area and hungry, look no further! read more

On my first visit, I was expecting a classic, greasy pizza joint - fast, cheap, and passably tasty. But this place is a delightful diamond in the rough. No better food in the county! The toppings are on the Portland food geek side. No black olives or green peppers or Canadian bacon, instead think shaved fennel, confit garlic, and smoked bacon. But they won't judge if you want a plain pepperoni pizza. They just seem happy to feed you. They nail Neapolitan style pizza - a fat, bubbly crust on the outside and a thin floppy crust on the inside. Don't fear the black bubbles! It's the mark of a perfect Neopolitan. Super-knowledgable and friendly staff that will answer any question without being judgy and the place has awesome ambience with neat touches like shelving made out of antique wood apple boxes. It's really tiny (9 or 10 tables and some counter seating), so they're almost always a wait during dinner rush. If you have hungry and cranky kiddos who need to eat right damn now, get them a snack from the corner market first. Trust me. Despite being in a tourist town, they don't try to gouge you on the price. We had the antipasti board ($27). We got fresh mozzarella marinated in pesto, gorgonzola, and some other nutty cheese I can't remember. It was beautifully presented and had several different charcuterie meats, pickled vegetables, toasted flat bread, spiced pecans and mixed olives. The menu says it feeds 4-6 people and they aren't lying. The four of us wound up being too full to finish our second pizza (which is great because, pizza for breakfast). Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. read more

Great addition to Seabrook. Other than one day starting out slow with coming to our table our server made up for it and was attentive. The pizza is super tasty and really like the brick oven style. Went here twice and had the white sage pizza, margherita, goat cheese. Loved sitting at the large bar and attentive service from the staff all with a solid pour in my wine glass. Really couldn't find any issues and same reviews from 6 others. read more

Man... I can't say enough about this Pizzaria! Fresh and tasty, with "gluten free" crust option. I was blown away by the beauty of this restaurant, with it's crown jewel a beautiful brick oven. I had the goat cheese, scallions, smoked bacon on gluten free... yum and my wife had the cured speck, mozzarella, pineapple, jalapeno.. don't miss this experience! read more

My family and I ate here twice out of our four day vacation. Service was awesome both times! Pizzas are delicious, but definitely a bit on the smaller size. This is only 1 of the 2 restaurants in town so one of the days we waited almost 40 mins to get 3 pizzas. We did eat at the other restaurant and did not have the same experience. If you have to choose between the two this should be your choice! read more

Best pizza I've ever eaten and the arugula salad was fab! Big portions so we had enough for lunch the next day.

there is No Better Pizza Anywhere in this coastal area(s) I am somewhat of a Pizza Expert, as have eaten it all over the USA as well as abroad~ the rest around here? they seem to have a Passion for "Darkening" top of the Pizza's? always with some "Lame" excuse? outer edges of crusts usually way overdone? ingredients buried under this very dark "cloak" of darkened cheese?? and at times? crust not cooked in centers? ingredients tend to slide off? we asked for our Pizza not to be "Over cooked" as we did not wish to be disappointed one more time? "Andy" and the crew, Very accommodating ! also try the Deserts!! check out the real Pizza Oven ! you'll return trust me !!!! read more

Ok best Stromboli ever!!! Delish pizza, tasty panzenella salad! Great service! Couldn't ask for more!

While we carried out rather than dining in, the serving sizes were large and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. The draught root beer was worth the extra calories!! read more

Yum! Yum! Yum! Had the joint almost to myself during lunch. The pizza is cooked perfectly and beer options are terrific in this little joint. Since we're "locals", Frontage is close, service great and pizza stellar! read more

My husband and I stopped in for a late dinner. Our entire experience was great. The panzanella was amazing! We also had the sausage and leek pizza, which was delicious! Everything was light, yet satisfying. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. This place will definitely be on the list of places to return to! We fell in love with the neighborhood community. Such a well-planned place. read more

We had been out here for the 4th, and we happened to stop in on a whim, without looking at reviews (because i had no service out here). It was definitely busy, but after looking at the the unique menu, we decided to wait it out and eat here. Best decision in a long time. As someone who has had formal culinary training and worked in some pretty nice places, I could tell how much effort and care he put into making a very awesome menu. The combinations of flavors worked extremely well. We had the Pesto chicken goat cheese kalamata Stromboli and the Truffle Bianca pizza. Everything was delicious, and the roasted red bell pepper sauce that came with the Stromboli was to die for. One of the most satisfying meals I've ever had... and that coming from a pizza place....is saying something. read more

Went here twice while we were in Seabrook on vacation. Food was excellent. Had the bacon pizza both times it was so good. The pesto Stromboli was delicious. They use a sourdough crust for their pizza and Strombolis that is very crisp instead of being soggy like some pizza joints. The atmosphere is good for an outdoor lunch on the patio or for a casual evening dinner with your SO or a group of friends. They have a big bar and a couple of big screens so it would be a good place to watch a game. They have some root beer on draft from Snohomish that is really good. read more

My wife and I ate here for dinner. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the bacon pizza and the buratta salad. Both were excellent, the pizza exceptionally so. We both had the root beer they had on tap. Really good. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Fun place for great pizza. The line was out the door but we only waited 10 min for a table. Prices are a little high, but the food is fantastic. read more

This was my 4th time eating here as I visit often. Usually I am very impressed with the food, service and price. Tonight was different. I ordered Stromboli, it was so dark it was actually burned and the insides dry. I had a mouth full of ashes, it was like biting into a charcoal burquett. I understand this trend towards charring food, , but this was truly burned. My dinner mates thought I was some okie for complying and wanting to send it back so instead of me shaming them they ate it??? Idk. Drank a lovely flavorful beer that tasted like peaches and got candy next store !!! read more

YUM! We had the panzanella salad and it was amazing! And plenty large enough for two to share. We really did not need the mushroom pizza but it was also delicious. The service was also great. We will be back next time we are out this way. read more

Great location. Horrible service. Staff is incapable of providing minimal service. By all means go there like your going to the zoo.

We tried to call in an order at 4pm. Nobody picked up the phone. So, we went there at 4:15pm. I asked the gray-haired lady if I could order 4 pizzas to go. She said, "The next pick up time is 7:30pm." How does it take three hours to make 4 pizzas to go? So, we sat at the bar, ordered beers and 4 pizzas. At least four other tables that came in after us all got their pizzas before ours were even made. Then we watched our pizza order being made. They went right from the oven, to their respective boxes, and then immediately stuffed into a warmer. I asked the guys next to us, that came is well after we did and got their pizzas served to them within minutes, if they called in their order to get it so fast. They didn't. We asked the waitress to check on our order. A few minutes later, we watched them take out our four pizzas from their warmer and then our waitress brought them to us. I asked her why they were sitting in the warmer for the last 30 minutes, and informed her that we watched them take our pizzas and put them in the warmer immediately after being boxed up. I asked her why they did that and she had no reply. I'm a bald, brown guy with a beard...I might look like someone they aren't racially or ideologically hip on, but when you pay $133 for four pizzas and five beers and give them a 20% tip before the pizzas were even made, you think the service would be a bit better. Granted, it's game day and they are busy...but watching them serve all those other tables before us...then watching them stuff our pizzas in a warmer and making us wait 30 more minutes before giving them to us, not to mention immediately being told when we arrived that it would take three hours to "pick up" our pizzas and take them to go, that's just blatant disrespect and absolutely terrible management. Too bad they have no competition in Seabrook because they deserve to beat out of business with that kind of "service". read more

My family was in Seabrook to celebrate my in-laws on their 50th wedding anniversary. My wife and I stopped in for lunch to escape a rain shower and were very pleasantly surprised. The clams were outstanding, and the pizza was the best I've had in quite some time...and Portland offers some pretty stiff competition. The next day, we took the family there for lunch. They managed to seat all 14 of us, and Kaicee was sweet, attentive, and efficient. The food was once again excellent, the only disappointment being that they were out of clams. :-) read more

Frontagers is very good! I tried their pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, pickled pepper and Anaheim pepper pizza. They refer to it as their combo. Very good crust, sauce, and spiciness to it. Nice selection of beers and great service. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Frontagers Pizza! read more

The pizza was just ok very small even smaller slices. I think they are trying to get way to fancy with a simple food. The menu doesn't even have a pepperoni pizza on the menu of course you can order one. Price does not match the value. My advice simplify! Pretty disappointed. Salad was soggy blah. read more

Consistently high quality, unique pizza - the margherita is so fresh and delicious! We've been here about six times and have always been met with friendly service, even when we placed a carry out order close to closing. When they're not busy, our pizzas have been ready in as little as 10 minutes. In the summer they can be swamped and with orders, but we've avoided long waits by planning ahead and calling in an order with a set pick up time. Regardless, the taste is worth the wait and there's nothing like it anywhere else. read more

Pizza was very tasty. Good chewy crust, fresh toppings, and perfectly cooked in the huge wood burning oven. Clam appetizer was also excellent, as was the arugula salad. All around great. read more

My nephew and I made a special road trip to Oregon, to attend the Portland International Beerfest. We had great fun there, and naturally wanted to sample local food with the beer. After a disappointing lunch at a crowded, high-profile food truck, we spotted Frontager's Pizza Co., based in a cool antique truck. We told the nice lady about our unfortunate experience at the other vendor, to which she replied: "I promise, this will have flavor!" Wow, was she right! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza and it was out-of-this world good! Crust was perfect--thin, light, and slightly charred, with just the right crunch. Sauce was zesty, cheese oozed with flavor, and chicken had a good kick. We devoured the whole pizza in short order. We were so impressed that we returned an hour later and ordered the pepperoni pizza--which we also devoured. And this wasn't just great beer food--it stood on it's own as outstanding pizza. I wish that old Frontager's truck would make a detour north and park in Seattle! read more

Last Saturday, we went here for lunch, just wanting to enjoy a glass of red wine and a pizza. We walked in, were completely ignored, finally seated at a table in the corner. Our wait person finally came over after a very long wait. My husband ordered a glass of red wine. There were two different reds to choose from. She comes back after another long wait and tells him they are out of it and would he like the other choice of red. He says yes, and then she comes back and tells him they are out of that one. So, he chooses a white wine. She finally brings us both a glass of the white and takes our pizza order. We wait, and wait, and after 45 minutes and asking what is going on with our order, a different wait person, not our waitress, comes over and tells us our pizza will be at least another 10 minutes. In the meantime, we see many orders being delivered to tables that came in after we did. They try to appease us with another glass of wine. We do not want another glass of wine. We tell them we are leaving, and to just forget our order. We go back to our rental house, and we ended up having to cook our own lunch at home. This was not a good experience at all. We would not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

Had lunch here today with the fam. Was greeted immediately upon walking in by a super friendly staff member who graciously welcomed us. It was so nice after the last two shops had less than friendly employees. We had the margarita pizza and a bacon sausage. Only complaint was a few slices seemed to be missing cheese and or toppings. Flavor was amazing and super yummy crust. Also, the wild arugula salad was delish. read more

I agree with the many other reviewers that this restaurant is a great addition to Seabrook and the pizzas are creative combinations and all really good. For the best service I suggest you sit at the bar and you'll get the attention of the pizza making staff. If you sit at a table you get the waitstaff of the day which may be ok or chaos. Going before the dinner hour will also increase your chance of a good service experience from the few staff. read more

I was surprised to find such a great pizzeria in such a remote local. The salad and pizza we ordered were delicious and had interesting and delicious combinations. Also the root beer on tap was phenomenal read more

Great afternoon! Wonderful food and service - don't miss the tiramisu! The owner is simply great - and a military vet.

Ate here over the 4th of July weekend and got here just before closing when the place was about empty. Wasn't expecting much, especially not in such a remote area, but this was probably one of the top few pizzas I've had, measuring up to an authentic Napoli Pizza or a coal fired New York pizza. Their Italian pizza oven was shiny new and they're doing something right with their dough because the crust was exceptional. Didn't even need any toppings for this pizza. Beautiful new place, giant HD projection TV screens, tin roof tiles lining the bar. If I ever find myself on the west coast of Washington I will not miss stopping for a pizza here. read more
