His promise was made in October 2019 and it is now mid-February and I still don't have my laptop and I will probably never see it again. I would wager that he has sold it for parts by now. 5. It worked fine for the first 8 months and then it crashed. I went into GS Computers to tell them about my problem and I was told to bring in the computer, with the original purchase receipt and they would look at it. I turned the house upside down looking for this receipt, but was not able to find it, so I took the computer into a shop in Olympia. They did a diagnostic on it and told me that it had a bad hard drive that needed to be replaced. At this same time they told me that there were other used parts in my new computer and that it had been built for gaming and this is not what I had ordered. This repair cost me $200.00. 8 months go by and the computer crashes again. Off to the repair shop in Olympia. This time they find that the mother board is bad and needs to be replaced. This repair cost $200.00. Another 8 months go by and this computer crashes again. Now the Windows 7 operating system needs to be re-installed. $180.00. This time I get only half the usual time with 4 months passing before it crashes again. I take it in for a diagnostic in Olympia at one of the larger computer stores and they tell me that the hard drive is bad and I finally say enough is enough. I am not going to throw away more money on this piece of junk that GS Computers dumped off one me I thought that I was getting a top quality computer from a trusted business here in Shelton, but as I have discovered first hand, this was not true. If you need to buy a new computer, save yourself a lot of grief and go into one of the larger computer stores in Olympia were they stand behind their products. If this business is a example of how customers are treated here in Shelton and this is the best we can expect, we are all in big trouble. Shame on GS Computers.

He did both machines in less than a day and the transfer of programs was altogether seamless. I still am amazed at how smoothly it all went, and how my entire system copied over to the new machine with all the same context menus, file paths, and personal configurations like customized toolbars and procedures. This would have taken an eternity to do all from scratch by myself. The old components included a hard drive that failed, and Mike was able to recover and transfer the data to a new modern SSD. During another visit, Mike set up a new wireless mesh network for not just our house but our whole property. It was a massive improvement in network performance. We can even connect from our boat! Again, Mike saved us a ton of time and a lot of headaches. He did the setup and tweaking in one hour. He does not dally or pad his visits, and makes himself available for questions and followup, without ever acting impatient or put upon. His scheduler Bev is also very easy to reach and even returns calls and email messages after hours. I could have wound up with any computer tech but was completely lucky to get Mike Cole on the first try. I highly recommend Cole Computer Services and wouldn't think of hiring another company.
