Once it had officially been canceled, I requested a refund stating, I no longer had the original account I made the purchase on and it had been closed. I would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased a layaway ticket to escape and the payments are linked to my venmo and my Venmo is linked to my bank account. For some reason the LAST payment somehow wasn't taken from my BANK ACCOUNT and I was partially refunded. In their email they stated they would give me back $141 but all that was sent was $94. After emailing them about this they were unhelpful and unable to explain why this happened. When I tried to get back the money THEY SAID THAT THEY OWED ME they suddenly say it's because I didn't make the last payment. When it should have been impossible for them not to have taken the automated payment. My coworker told me she did a payment plan and received her wristband and showed up to the event. They refunded and cancelled my order without contacting me or without any warning. The event is still going, so it is totally unrelated to that. I emailed them asking why, they said I didn't fulfill my layaway plan obligations. But payments paused for covid, and then never started again...I could've continued with the payment plan, or just paid it all lump sum if I had to. Then I had a camping pass on another order (I made a 2nd order to get my camping pass) and so obviously that pass is useless without my ticket, and they're charging me $70 to cancel my $150 camping pass. Oh and their website says defaulting charges are $50, so somehow I have to pay EXTRA for this?? I also have yet to get an explanation on any of this. Despite reaching out. Awful! We ordered tickets to Austin City Limits festival. We ordered and paid for our tickets on May 1. The concert was on October 5. As of Sept 28, we still had not received our tickets. We were promised we would have the tickets within 2-4 weeks of the festival. We were not able to attend the festival due to unforeseen circumstances, and then we could not re-sell them because they were never even mailed out. Their solution was for us to pick them up at will-call. This solution is not helpful. Now, as I read all of the same reviews from others here on yelp, I am just shaking my head. Awful. I bought 2 tickets to an event originally scheduled for April in Austin Texas. I received an email from Front Gate Tickets May 1, 2020 that the event was postponed until July 23, 2020 but had 30 days to refund if I could not make the new date, otherwise my tickets were valid for the new date. On May 20, 2020 I received a second email from Front Gate saying the event was postponed again until July 29th, with the same details about canceling. To date I have not received a cancellation email from Stubb's (the venue) or Front Gate. I reached out to Front Gate for my refund. I have been told 5 different stories on why I can't get the refund, it started with being told an email was sent cancelling the even in the "beginning of May" to NOT MY EMAIL listed on my account, how would I have known? I have attached both emails rescheduling the event to this post, as well as the official Facebook page for the event still marked as RESCHEDULED. The event is 100% not moving forward and Front Gate is lying to customers on why they cannot receive a refund. The customer service and lies I experienced through my conversations with customer service were honestly concerning that a company cannot keep their lies straight. The event I was attending was canceled, but I was never notified about the limited window for refunds on ticket packages. I contacted their customer service group and after speaking with both their service tech and supervisor, I was told there was nothing they could do, despite never having been informed on any changes in the event or conditions on refunds. I was also warned that if I filed a dispute with my credit card provider, I would never be able to purchase tickets from them again, which was no problem whatsoever. They only gave me a partial refund (I spent well over $400 on an EDC ticket, received $350 back). I bought the ticket back in 2019 before the pandemic. I asked for a refund and they initially denied me, several times, before saying it was ok. The card I used to buy portion of the ticket was stolen so I used my new card for the rest of it. They tried refunding my old card, which obviously didnt work, and told me I had to call my bank. WHAT? I called my bank, they obviously told me it's an issue with Front Gate and they can't retrieve the money from them (obviously). Sooo, lawsuits incoming. I've absolutely had it with this company as many others have said. When someone takes so much money from you and doesn't give it back, especially an overly wealthy company, it makes you angry. I had to BEG and PLEAD customer service to refund the money to a different card since the person who purchased the tickets was DECEASED & we have no access to her bank accounts. Customer Service REFUSED. Finally after 30 emails the so called "manager" allowed for the tickets to be transferred to my email but that's all they could do.... I bought 3 GA tickets for Electric Forest in June of 2018 last December and when my Airbnb canceled my lodging for this event, I had to secure camping on site at Electric Forest which included 3 GA tickets to EF. Front Gate immediately refunded me for the entire cost, including all fees for the 3 GA tickets I bought back in December. No questions asked. Thank you for a completely stress free experience. Garbage company. I spent $1,400 for 2 days at a festival that required off site parking/shuttle bus. The shuttle bus was an additional $30 a day to and from the parking lot. Nowhere on the 'customers also buy' pop up does it say the shuttle pass is per person. It only says it one per person on the e-mail printout. I went to by another one the day of the festival and customer service said they provided the sales data to the vendor and I would have to get them at a "first come, first serve basis" from the shuttle. We are showing up later in the day, after the festival starts so likely they will be out of shuttle passes. I asked for a refund and was told the "no refunds, no exceptions" line. Screw them. They are terrible. At $60/day for a shuttle service for 2 people? Stupidity overpriced. Avoid these fools. read more

Boys, no one is buying the WEAK and HEARTLESS press releases about how you plan to "reschedule" 40 bands (laughable) and care about taking care of your customers (who are under 30 and over paid for your weak/overpriced lineup in Redondo Beach). This ticket is regarding a show I accidentally purchase tickets for and tried canceling immediately that day by phone and email over a month in advance of the show . The tickets were purchased for the show in Dana point with offspring on the 7th of April . I have copies of emails stating you guys were busy and guys never made an attempt to contact me . They literally sent me this twice "Due to higher than normal email volume we have fallen a bit behind on responding to our emails. We hate that this has kept us from getting back to you in a timely manner and are adding staff as quickly as possible to catch up. We hope you were able to find the information you were looking for; however, if you still require assistance, please reply to this email so that we may prioritize your inquiry and respond as soon as possible." I bought tickets for King Krule back in November 2019 for the April 4th show at Stubbs. The concert was rescheduled I did not get any notice about receiving a refund as an option. When I called Darren a Manager told me I had until May 30th to ask for my refund! How was I suppose to know that? It is their responsibility to contact me with information about cancellations, reschedules and refunds. I am out $85.50! right now through these hard times that money would help. It's pretty pathetic that they would keep my money and not contact me with an email or call with concert updates. I had purchased tickets to The Midtown Music Festival (which I was extremely excited to attend), but due to the recent hurricanes (Irma and Maria) I was unable to attend due to severe damages and cleaning up after the storm. In hopes of a refund or a partial refund, I had contacted them prior to the date of the event. I would have completely understood if the refund was not possible and would have left it at that had they just said "sorry, nope." Instead they had me going back and forth, customer support representative after representative, to finally just stop responding to any of my e-mails altogether. Greedy liars. I purchased festival tickets through FGT (Front Gate Tickets) because they were the only option to buy from out-of-state. I purchased them early to get a discount, and I received two confirmation emails: one with my receipt of how much I paid and one with my tickets. My credit card statement reflected the charge. When I showed up to the festival the next week, my tickets wouldn't scan and I was told to talk to the registration desk where I encountered someone who worked for FGT. (I saw this young man walking around helping someone else earlier with his laptop.) At the registration desk, I told the woman what security had told me and she turned to the FGT man for an answer. He scrolled through his laptop, then looked me straight in the eyes and said confidently, "It looks like your bank reversed the charge." That didn't make any sense, but I had no reason not to believe him. I asked if I could just repurchase the tickets, but the FGT man and registration both told me I would have to pay the higher price. I showed them my email and the date I had purchased them, but the FGT man blamed my bank and said there was nothing they could do. I stepped aside to call my bank and was immediately connected to someone who laughed at the situation when I told her. She said that once they [the bank] approve a charge, they have no reason to reverse it. "In fact," she said, "we never do that." I thanked her for her time; now I was mad at the FGT man. I returned to the registration desk and recounted my convo with my bank. The FGT man was busy on his laptop--like earlier--and now seemed annoyed that I had returned. He didn't seem to want to help me; I felt like I was interrupting something else he was working on (perhaps I wasn't the only one this happened to). I prodded him for a reason why FGT sent me tickets, then reversed my charge. He finally said I input wrong information. I gave him my driver's license and asked him to tell me what was wrong. He still couldn't tell me the reason why they reversed my charge and were now charging me a higher price for my tickets. FGT had an opportunity to provide excellent customer service; instead they chose to break trust and lose a customer for some extra revenue. 0 stars; not 1. read more

I've had a similar experience to many other Yelp reviewers. I purchased tickets for the Beach Life Festival but have not been able to reach them for a refund. The concert is technically "postponed" but no new dates have been announced. It would not surprise me if the organizers go out of business, leaving the ticket buyers with nothing.
